Upon entering the store, I noticed two young children running around unsupervised. Given the nature of the products sold, this immediately raised concerns for me, as it did not seem like an appropriate or safe environment for children. What made the situation worse was the lack of professionalism from the employee on duty. I stood in line waiting to be assisted, and although the employee clearly saw me enter, he chose to continue a personal phone conversation. The conversation itself was also inappropriate for a workplace setting, as it involved discussing personal issues in a loud and unprofessional manner. I waited patiently for a significant amount of time and was never acknowledged, greeted, or assisted in any way. Being ignored like that, especially while ready to make a purchase, was frustrating and disappointing. Between the lack of customer service, the inappropriate behavior, and the presence of unsupervised children in a smoke shop, the overall experience felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. No bs closing at 11 and it's 10:50 and they won't let you in (not to mention names) always have updated truthful hours. I work close to this shop and would pop in from time to time looking for specific items and usually they had it in stock. I've met 2 or 3 different people who work there and they've always been great. I went in almost 2 weeks ago looking for a specific coil but they didn't have it. I decided to go back last weekend since I was at Starbucks just to check if they had gotten it in. To my surprise I met the owner who pulled out a bag when I told him the name of the coil and said " Oh yeah my employee said someone was looking for these. Is that you " I was so surprised that his employee ( his name escapes me right now but I'll definitely go by today and get his name just to edit this review because he's awesome ) took time to tell the owner I was looking for the item because we didn't discuss it. I paid a little more than I'm used to when I order them online but my hubby was in desperate need of one so it was worth a little more to me.
