We are definitely happy Comfort Inn Guests. We are experienced travelers so we have many hotels to compare with this one from USA, Mexico, plus Europe. Very calming and peaceful which also matched the decor. The entire building is up to date and designed very well. The designs make you feel like 'yeah, this is going to be a nice getaway.' Haha! The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. They explained the layout of the hotel, where the gym was at and answered all the questions I had. They did a great job of welcoming us and making us feel at home. We like sleeping with low temps and thankfully their AC was able to handle our need of 67 degrees. We slept very well. This place has a top notch standard of cleanliness. Everything was spotless and smelled very good. The rooms look recently updated and they are stunning. I really love the design of them with the blue art pieces, so peaceful and beautiful. The bathrooms are bright and spacious, also stacked with soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The General Manager was out of town on vacation and the owner was out of the country. Who was running the establishment????That information was provided to me by another coordinator who had his own party going on, in the building, upstairs. It was a large party of 100 guests. The person running that event claims he ran both parties. He did not. His name was Payton. We were on our own with one full time waitress and another that popped in and out. She, the other server, was also helping with the party upstairs and that explained her disappearance. They were short staffed and tried to get through both events. My party ended up suffering in every sense of the word. Our lunch was late in being brought out. Almost a full hour, late. Our soup was cold and sparse. Our salads were wilted. Our main dish was filet medallions and not only was the meat cold, there were no steak knives provided. The veggies were burnt as if reheated and potatoes cold. Our server was so overwhelmed serving 41 guests, basically by herself, she was unable to EVER, offer drinks to my guests. Most, were only served water and refills weren't available. I had paid for 2 different varieties of punch. This was also very late in coming out. I basically served several guests, the punch, myself. I also paid for coffee, tea, ice tea and soft drinks to be offered. That never happened. I had complained to the front desk 5-7 times. I complained to the waitress several times since there was no one else. Finally, the coordinator, Payton, from the party upstairs showed up, but by that time our meals were thrown in the bus pans, uneaten. What a horrible, expensive waste!!!! We had him take pictures of the bus pans to show his boss. I was given 2 business cards from Payton. His, and the General Manager's. He did acknowledge a problem but advised me to contact the manager. Michelle, the General Manager had me wait 2 full days to meet with her. She is not only rude and arrogant, but never offered an apology. She actually claimed no responsibility for the failed event and had an answer for everything, well rehearsed, I might add. That in itself, told me she had, had this similar problem with many other disappointed customers. She was very calculated in her defense and reacted with total disregard. After reading reviews on Yelp, I found that either you love the place or don't!! There is no consistency. I failed to check Yelp before signing the contract that they did not fulfill. I did fulfill my end by paying in full, 10 days before the event. Cash!! They don't take credit cards because of a chance you might dispute it. Isn't that INTERESTING???? Beware also, of their contract because it adds an enormous gratuity that the waitress never sees!!!! I was told by the server she only gets a hourly wage and THE HOUSE, keeps the entire gratuity. Mine was over $800.00. That is sickening because the only person working for me that day was the waitress. Do not be fooled as I was. This woman, Michelle is a greedy human being who lacks integrity and grace. She will lie right to your face and DID, then escort you out of her building. Please don't let my experience happen to you. It was an extremely expensive day that was basically ruined.

Absolutely beautiful playground right on the lake, perfect for all ages. There are two different…read moreplaygrounds for different age groups, one of which is handicap accessible. Lots of towers, climbers, music, slides and swings, and one playground even has a sandbox. The biggest downsides to this park is that's its wood chips and there's limited shade. There are some sunshades, mainly over the benches surrounding the playground, but the playground itself is fully exposed, so better to go on a cloudy day.
