I've had a McKenzie salt water spa for 3 years. The customer service is very good and they could answer all my questions. However, after the first year the salt water system no longer worked. Upon inspection by a technician, the electrode that converts the salt into bromine was scaled up. I added the correct amount of chemicals specified in the manual, and this was the result. Replacing the electrode would be expensive, and I feel the result would be the same. It's still a great hot tub, but I'm disappointed I can't use the salt system. read more

I came to West Coast Spas after a hellish experience with a different local dealer who tried to screw me over on a spa deal. I was already apprehensive about spa shopping. Since my purchase of a spa in 2013 West Coast has been supportive with my spa. I recently needed warranty service to replace a defective part and Sumie was more than helpful in taking care of the issue. She even made it a point to personally deliver the replacement part so the service tech could expedite the service call. She even gifted me Chem's for a minor delay in service. Starting with the purchase, the LOCALY made spas are great quality and come with a better warranty than most. Great pricing of tubs, the take away of old tubs and delivery of new, and a generous starter kit (instructions and chemicals). Sumi was one of the most helpful, nicest, knowledgeable representatives I've ever worked with. She constantly went(and still does go)above and beyond what she needed to do with us. And when she was busy, she had her tech come out to solve the issues. I bought a hot tub made by West Coast Spas 4 years ago, the gel coat on the spa has begun to blister in numerous places. When I requested that it be repaired under warranty (7 year shell at the time). They directed me to the fine print, basically there is no warranty. We purchased a 2 person spa 3 1/2 years ago from the folks at West Coast Spas. It worked great and we've loved it! Recently we decided to renovate our tiny patio and needed to sell our beautiful little spa. Although there was little in it for them monetarily, Sumi was terrific, patiently answering all my silly questions and advising me on how to move it without damage. When it was clear I couldn't move it to its new home myself, she turned me over to Mike, their master technician. I have had my Trillium 2.0 for a year now and it has been working flawlessly since the install. The purchase experience with Sumi was great, no high pressure and she made sure I got the tub I wanted to surprise my wife on her return. The jet system is extremely powerful, and makes the Cal Spa at my vacation home seem way under powered. First off if you can't see paying the inflated price of popular name brand spas like I was. West coast spa is the place to look.Great pricing and great selections are only the first step. West coast spa delivered my custom ordered spa on time with free delivery and setup. As with any new item you buy they may be a few kinks to sort out. I have to say West Coast Spa was out the next day in most cases to resolve any issue I had free of charge under a great warranty. I would rate technical support A+. And Then there is Sumi the best sales/ customer support person ever who worked a great deal out for us complete with everything included to start enjoying our hot tub including a startup chemical package and as much customer support needed to start our fun. And has always answered any question I called in or emailed with a quick and knowledgeable response. And when I wanted a handrail, Sumi ordered it for me, and when the technician was out sick the owner and his son came out themselves and installed my handrail.
