My experience with Moira was just okay. I wanted a short haircut that wasn't bulky but wasn't able to achieve that with her. I gave it a couple months of trying to style it the way that it was cut, but I eventually had to go to someone with more experience with textured hair. Reviewing an entire salon when you only had a bad experience with one stylist seems wrong so I'm not going to give a poor rating but I was seeing a girl for a bit who's only been doing hair for about 2 years and had the prices of a seasoned pro. There was a plan to come back in and apply color to my whole head and they were trying to argue that we would need to bleach my entire head. This made no sense to me as I'd done this exact color in the past without the use of bleach. I was simply trying to understand her reasoning when she just said "maybe I'm not the right stylist for you then" which felt unnecessary and rude. Like a more professional way of saying "shut up and listen or leave." This is a person who's been in the industry for a very short period of time and treats clients like her time could be better spent with one or her 20K Instagram followers. read more

Absolutely amazing! After scheduling online, they called to optimize my appointment time with a stylist that aligned with my hair goals. Took time to discuss exactly what I was looking for. Small touches that really added to comfort- hot towels and quiet/calm ambience in the washing bowl room, full coffee/tea bar, lower volume in the entire salon. My hair is officially RUINED! I would give them zero stars if I could! I am so sad that I went here. I came in a couple of weeks ago and paid for a full highlight, the girl maybe used 15 foils for my whole head. She didn't foil my hair near the root at all, you can see the harsh lines everywhere where the bleach was applied, and they came out golden orange. I returned 2 days later to have someone fix it only to have it look worse then before. My hair is beyond trashy now. read more

After moving from California I was having a hard time finding a good salon/stylist. On a whim, I called for an appt and was scheduled with Cori. She did a great job getting my hair back in shape with a good cut. I then scheduled an appt to have my hair colored. When I arrived at my appt for the color we discussed what my goal was and she got to work. I was completely satisfied with the way my hair turned out. I have gone here several times now, and happy with my color and cut. This last time, I felt very unappreciated as a customer. The person I booked with put the coloring in my hair. Another person shampooed my hair. Then ANOTHER person did the blow drying! So I had to get my haircut by the original person while it was totally dry. The person I booked with, as triple booked! IF I COULD GIVE IT A ZERO, I'd definitely go for the negatives. This place is way overpriced and they don't even do the job right. Keoni said she would leave my hair looking so good like the one in the picture and my hair looks the same. I'm so disappointed because I had never had my hair done before and I really looked into this place so if you're thinking about getting your hair done here make sure that you ask for pictures of their work specifically. I highly recommend going to the Belleza Beauty Bar on Grant. I tried talking to her already and asking her to fix it and she does not want to fix it and refuses to make my hair look better because I am definitely not happy with it. I am not happy with the service I am not happy with the outcome the people here are very unprofessional and I wish I would have gone somewhere else. So fortunate to have found Kylie Miller at Havven Salon! I am new to the Tucson metro area, and had no idea where to turn. Called and emailed another salon initially and my queries were not returned...thank heaven. Saw both Tammy and Kylie on a news segment shortly thereafter and called the very next day, getting an appointment with Kylie. She is super talented, funny, sweet and timely...which is important to me. She is taking great care of my hair, especially as it is rather fine and the hard water here has been extremely hard on it. She is fantastic, I am an extremely happy and satisfied customer!! Everyone at the salon is very nice, and they are taking Covid-19 prep and precautions seriously.
