I had rusted old windows that were installed completely wrong and water was pooling through my windows when it rained. Called these guys during the storm in a panic and they responded quickly and didn't push my repairs back. (Called a few other company's prior and they wanted to push back my repairs since I was only repairing two windows). They explained every step of the way and any time they ran into any difficulties from the previous installers they informed me of them and already had multiple solutions. They didn't rush through the job at all and repaired things around the window on their own so that the rest of the area around the window looked just as new as the windows. Their work ethic and skills are truly unmatched, hoping they expand their services because I would trust them with any home repair.

I asked Yelp for a recommendation and Oahu Windows and Doors contacted me very quickly. They said they would send Nick, "our repair guy," out to take a look and give me an estimate on a repair. Nick arrived exactly at the appointed time, took a quick look (and listen) at my door and diagnosed the problem in a minute or two. Then, since the problem was a seal on the door, asked me if I simply wanted him to remove the seal to stop the sound, and gave me the pros and cons of doing so. I said yes and he removed the seal and put things back together. He gave me some tips on what to use to lubricate the door, as well as--if I ever wanted to replace the door--what I should look for and how to save money. Nick was knowledgeable, personable and effective in solving my problem. I highly recommend Oahu Windows and Doors.

First, it takes a while just to schedule someone to come out. Second, the man who came to my home was rude and condescending, took forever, and didn't seem to know what he was doing. Third, it took forever to hear back (3-4 weeks), only to be told that they can't order what we're looking for.

The sales person I worked with is Dorian . Yes he was very nice and a good sales person ( in the beginning) .. knows his stuff and came by personally to check out my window layout . I put in my order just before New Years . I was notified in April that it might come in .. in May . Did not hear any updated news so I contacted the office . Did not come in till June and finally installed in July. I was pleased with the installation crew but they were missing two screens and the order was not 100% correct so I brought it to Dorian attention. ( the window openings) Two weeks went by .. then three weeks then four weeks and still no word about the missing screens . Finally I contacted the office and they said it came in and finally installed late August . But no one called me to update me on the screens . And although Dorian said he will check on the order where we had miscommunication on the window configuration ... He never got back to me . Typical sales ... he got the sale and the money and then they ghost you . I'm not sure if I could recommend them . Diamond Head gave better service and follow up although they were priced a little higher but I was trying to save some money since we're seniors with a fix income . (For the record.. I did the first half of the house with Diamond Head windows .)

They need to paint the trim on all windows that were recaulked since white caulk was unevenly spread onto the blue trim. They showed up on time with an apology gift from Chun Wah Kam. . They are cleaning and repainting the window trim as I'm writing this. Happy since we just had the house repainted 4 years ago. I originally chose this company for the lifetime guarantee and quality of these windows. We do love the windows for the past 9 years. Great at blocking out sound and maintaining air conditioning temperatures. It was news to me that the company changed ownership. I'm glad the current owner is honoring the warranty and knew the previous owners personally.
