I have been going to this business for a very long time, probably about 25 years. I recently went to get a pedicure and was extremely disappointed. I did not recognize one face, everyone sitting there is new to this location and I honestly am not sure that any of them have a license or experience. The man that did my pedicure seemed like he was in pain and could barely move, he did appear quite old as well, that may explain is lack of mobility. He did not soak off my shellac polish, which you are charged for, he used a drill and drilled straight through a few of my toe nails!, he also left some of the old base coat on one of my big toes even though he drilled away most of the layers of my other toe nails. . I HAD strong, healthy toenails until I left here. I asked repeatedly to have my toes nails cut down low and filed more round than square, I run and when they are long they push against my shoes and hurt.When they are square they break. The cut down and shape I asked for never happened, the tech did not understand English but another employee seemed to translate what I was asking for, obviously not. The tech just went thru the motions of the steps, and the pedicure was over quickly. I had smooth feet prior to the pedicure but left with rough feet. There man that simulated a pedicure on me didn't apply the Polish, a young lady sat down to do that. The shellac polish I paid $20 extra dollars for was sloppy, did not cover my toenails on the sides and did not go all the way down to my cuticle, which made it look like I need a pedicure again. The tech kept sitting the light to seal the shellac plush , on my wet polish, it was like this was her first time attempting to use this system. I had to Keep telling her she had the light on my toes but she would just move the light, not check the Polish to see if she needed to touch it up When I was told to sit under a dryer, which makes no sense because I got shellac, I noticed my right toe nail had a piece of free edge that was barely connected (this damaged occurred from the excessive drilling that went thru my nail!) when I started trying to figure out why my toenail looked like that the tech that polished then, which was not the guy who "did the pedicure" walked by and said that I had a crack in my nail that's why it looks like that!?!? I was quite confused why you would do a pedicure, not cut the free edge of that I asked to have cut down but instead cause damage to the free edge and then polish over it. I asked a 3rd employee how she expected me to pay for this? My feet looked better with the old shellac on it prior to walking in. I know this is long but I really want my experience shared to avoid anyone else going there, wasting their time, not getting what they asked for and having to go through what I did. I also had my 14 year old, very shy, niece with me. I specifically asked the tech that was to do her nails if she had white tips, not if she could pain white tips. I made it very clear to this lady that my niece wanted white tips with a natural light looking pink acrylic, not a bright pink, she assured me they had white tips and that she understood what my niece wanted. When she was finished she did not have white tips, probably because they don't have them at the shop because it would have been much easier to use them. She had a natural tone tip and a bunch of uneven , full well looking color tips on and painted in shellac. You can see where the wells of the tops are and the top color doesn't even start where the free edge would be. Also, a few of her tips are pointing upwards. She gets her nails done often and does not have the shape or type of nail that this should happen to when applying tips. I asked the tech why she didn't do what I clearly asked for and she said because my niece had tiny nails, which is not true. And they wouldn't have looked right?!?!? WTH? My niece tells me after we were in the car that the tech did the same thing to the client prior to her as well, she says she could hear the girl complaining to her mother. So when they told me $120 was my total I told them I was not paying to walk out with my toe looking like that with as broken tip that they drilled thru causing the break and with nails on my niece that I didn't ask for. So a 3rd tech is the one who decided to fix my toes, I asked her to cut them short and make them round and don't worry about the bad polish, I was ready to go. This lady applies acrylic to the side of my toenail to make a square shape!!!!! I pulled my toe away and said no, I don't put acrylic on my toes!!! She didn't use a form, dehydrator or primer, she just plopped it on there! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would.... I got a full set and a pedicure on 10/3 and came back on on 10/12 because 4 nails popped off and 2 were coming off .... I wasn't offered any real solution. After going back and forth with me i was offered a $13 fill and he'd fix my 4 broken and 2 coming off nails for free.... it would be a 1 hour wait. Litteraly just got my nails done 2 days ago. Overall horrible quality. Had to file off extra hanging over my cuticles yesterday, because it was so noticeable. To top it off today one of my nails literally bent in half because he did them so thin and when I called to see if they would fix it due to their low quality work the guy told me he wouldn't have time to have made my nails so thin and that he would not fix it for me without me paying for it. If all this wasn't bad enough the guy who did my nails was more worried about talking to me about the weed that he had behind his station rather than doing my nails the way that I wanted them. The guy doing my toes was not at all interested in asking me about how I wanted my feet done. It was strange how he did not do a thorough job with my feet considering, he was not a newbie. My toe nails usually need shaping and of course the necessary cleaning in the toe bed. Nope, he skipped that and I had to let him know to get that area. Other than that, service is pretty quick. If I were able to give this shop a negative rating it would be -5 stars. Tom the main money man has one the nastiest attitudes in the business. He's arrogant, He's argumentative and He doesn't listen to his clients. I asked for a hard square shape for my pedicure, He said "No, you get ingrown nail" and that's LIE! I've worn hard square on my toes in past years and I have never gotten ingrown toenails. Hard square natural toenails require a little more time and skill but they certainly do not cause a medical condition. Okay, so after my fill-in, I told him to apply two thin coats of polish. Instead, he piled it on as usual. Two thick coats with no drying between and a thick layer of top coat requires far too much time to dry! I really love this nail shop! It's close to home so I frequent it. I always call to check how long I'll be in for and so far, it's never been more than an hour. They don't have you waiting for hours, they quickly start on you and are very friendly. Another thing I really like about them is that if you don't like the way something looks they fix it without the attitude of other nail salons. I have been going here on and off for over 4 years. A couple years ago I went and had lily do my nails. Forgot what I didn't like but I remember she had a bad attitude about it. I stopped going for a while and thought I'd give them another chance since a friend recommended tom to me. Started going again about a year ago and Tom always did my nails. Lily told me since I started coming back that she will not do my nails again, from the argument that happened 2 years prior, talk about holding grudges and mixing personal feelings with business. However their attitudes and business has gone abruptly downhill. They all have bad attitudes or just suck at their work. Their shop is a mess and has looked the same for years. They don't take appointments so get ready to wait at LEAST an hour. They don't always follow their sign in sheet either. They favor customers. So I got my nails done less than a week ago by Tom of course and two nails broke the next day. I couldn't make it in till a couple days later due to a busy work schedule. Tom tells me I have to wait for everyone on the list before he can fix TWO NAILS. I sign in and wait. I sit in the chair and he tells me its my fault they broke and I had to have done something to cause that. Buddy, I just paid $45 dollars to get them done, why would I purposely break them? Anywho, after we go back and forth of me telling him they literally easily popped off on their own and him basically calling me a liar. He finally finished and proceeded to tell me that he no longer wants to do my nails. First of all, you're lucky I even continued to bring my money to your business after all the other rude incidents, and loooong waits. They need to learn how to leave their personal lives at home where it belongs. Very unprofessional rude people. Don't let their $5 cheaper prices reel you in. Once you become a customer there. You will inevitably realize all this on your own. Oh and let's not forget that they purposely don't paint your nails all the way down to the cuticle. This was a consistent problem I had with them from the beginning till now. Always had to tell them to do that and I'd receive an attitude for that too. They leave a little gap from your cuticle to your paint job so in less than a week you will look like you need a fill in. Overall, save your money and go somewhere that doesn't carelessly waste your entire day waiting for a rush job with a nasty attitude.
