The reviews, both on Groupon and online, were really positive, so I went ahead and bought the deal for $45 (small area). I had to pay an extra $10 groupon booking fee, but the price itself was so affordable I didn't mind. At my appointment, the technician Emily mentioned I could purchase directly from her in the future, and she'd still honor the Groupon price, which was super kind of her. If you're interested, check if the deal is still available online. The Groupon covers small, medium, and large tattoo removal areas. For my next session, I'll be booking directly through her. This was my first experience with any type of tattoo removal, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous. I'd heard it can be more painful than getting a tattoo. Emily doesn't use numbing cream, but she has a cold air machine that blows over the area while the laser works. It helped a lot, less of a shock than I expected. Since the area was small, I was in and out in about 15 minutes. In terms of pain, I'd say it felt pretty similar to getting the original tattoo. If you've had your brows tattoo and touched up, you know what I mean. (The pain isn't the best) Even after just one session, I noticed a big difference. The pigment lifted way more than I thought it would. I'll probably need one more session since I've had multiple tattoo applications over the years, but I'm already really happy with the results. Huge thank you to Emily--she was amazing! Her online system is super efficient. It sends reminders, outlines policies and procedures, and includes everything you need to know before, during, and after your appointment. She's professional, thorough, and kind. Before the procedure, Wes explained how it would feel, what exactly the procedure does, what aftercare would look like, and the pricing. My tattoo is smaller in size, so he charged me about $150 per session, and explained that it would take about 5-6 sessions to completely remove the thicker lines. Again, this all depends on how your body reacts to the treatment. If your tattoo is gone before all the sessions, you don't need them! He also offers bulk pricing and discounts if you pay for more sessions ahead of time. If your tattoo is gone before you've used all the sessions, he will refund you! After all this, the procedure. For my smaller tattoo, it was quick. It did sting afterward, but I was prepared for what to expect and how to take care of it. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs work done! Well, first time we went in to go inquire, we just wanted a quote, so the girl at the front helped us. She had to be the messenger and actually text the laser tattoo removal technician. Having the wife remove her exes names off her body lol yeppp, on more than one spot of her body, each side of her neck, big one across her chest, back of her right arm, back of her left calf, and back of left hand. So the girl had to take pictures of all the tattoos, send it over, and got our quote and appointment scheduled. Slick vision is located in Aiea. I went spock em coming down from Aiea heights drive, after eating at Aiea bowl, so it's straight ahead at the bottom of Aiea Heights drive. Parking is in the back where Sushi spot and El Miriachi is. Day of appointment came. We scheduled on a Saturday evening at 5PM. Wife went in, they went in the back. And she came back out in pain. Shout out to Heidi (I think that's her name) for being patient, nice, understanding, and professional. Wife said that she turned in to a cockroach laying on the table. Lol The laser treatment burns. I got convinced into getting Picosure, being told it would help acne scarring at their Intro party…read more They were new at Pico, and at the first appointment the nurse assistant didn't know how to turn on the machine. I later learned they go over your face twice deuring an appointment. They didn't for most of my appointments except the last one. When I asked Esther, she gave a flimsy excuse. So 90% of my treatments were incomplete. They took a "Before" photo but not an After. Why? Because Pico didn't improve my scars at all, so there wasn't enough dramatic improvement to sell this service. A year or two later, I got sucked into a second treatment series when Esther exclaimed how my skin looked "so improved!" Again a Before photo but no after one, because there wasn't any improvement. In the last year I noticed this aesthetic clinic was no longer pushing Pico. When I asked Esther about it, she couldn't look me in the eye when she said "they weren't offering that service right now" and the "Pico machine was being serviced." But for a year or thereabouts? Pico might work for tattoo removal or for rejuvenating good skin with no acne scars. But it never worked for me, and no After photos were taken because again I didn't get the desired dramatic results which would help sell this service. The fact that this aesthetic clinic is not offering Pico speaks volumes.
