Decent little Hawaiian food spot for a quick fix! Stopped here during a road trip because I've heard so much about this chain. Ordered a 2 meat plate which included the Molokai Chicken, and spicy Kilauea Chicken. For my two sides I chose steamed white rice and Mac salad. I enjoyed both types of chickens and the white rice. The Mac salad was less than desirable imo, but maybe it's because I'm comparing it to the Mac salad I ate growing up in Hawaii. I really liked the pineapple lemonade I ordered! Delicious and refreshing! The thing I really noticed about this place was the lack of personal connection. You order from a kiosk and the staff brings your food to you. The girl was super friendly when she delivered it but I like asking questions about potential dishes and wasn't able to do that today. Oh well. Overall a decent visit. read more

I ordered the Classic Mixed Plate with Honolulu chicken and Luau pig for a weekday lunch. The restaurant wasn't very busy, and my food came out super fast after ordering. The flavors were tasty and full of that Hawaiian flair! That said, the plate felt like a bit of a carb overload. There was already rice under the meats, so the extra cup of rice on the side felt unnecessary--I would have loved to see some fresh seasonal veggies instead. I had a craving for some good Hawaiian food and one of my faves is Teriyaki chicken with white rice and macaroni salad. I placed an order from Hawaiian Bros Island Grill in Allen for Dinner last Night. I ordered the Classic-Huli Huli Chicken with white rice and Macaroni salad that comes with it. I ordered an extra side of the rice and Macaroni salad and it's good that I did as the portions were small. Also I ordered a side of Spam Musubi and a Dole Soft Serve in Pineapple. The food arrived nice and hot and tasted good. The Dole Soft Serve reminded me of going to Disneyland when I lived in California up until three years ago. The reason for my four star rating is because when I opened the bag and took out the Spam Musubi it wasn't even in its normal shape and was all mushed in the plastic wrapping. That and the smaller portions. Other than that I would definitely go back sometime soon. read more

This places lacks flavor and aloha. The chicken was bland as well as the mac salad. Portions were off, had more rice than protein, then a small amount of mac salad. Flavorless and highly lacked aloha spirit. Very disappointed, avoid at all caper. There are other mom n pop Hawaiian places with so much more character, flavor and aloha in their food. Original order date 06/09/2025 I am absolutely mortified and deeply concerned about the experience we had today after ordering from your Allen location. While my son was eating his meal, he noticed a black spot inside his burrito. Upon further inspection, he pulled out what turned out to be a large black bug. I have attached a photo so you can see exactly what we found. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about food safety and cleanliness in your kitchen. I honestly don't understand how something like this could be overlooked during food preparation. It's not just disappointing--it's disturbing. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding how this happened, what steps are being taken to ensure this never happens again, and how you plan to address this situation with my family. The service was great, very friendly and quick. The place is very casual with Hawaiian music in the background. All of the 3 chicken we ordered tasted good and flavorful, it complemented well with the rice. The macaroni tasted a little different than what I'm used to but still okay , just a bit on the salty side . Food portioning is just the right amount. We enjoyed our food and wouldn't mind coming back here. The one thing I had been hoping for is that they would have a bit more variety or a chicken katsu in the menu . read more

Stopped here for dinner after a long, physical day. Ordered 2 mixed plates with Molokai Chicken, Honolulu Chicken, Luau Pork, and Kilauea Chicken. We also ordered a Pineapple Dole Whip. The food came out fast, no longer than 10 minutes of waiting. There was a bit of a mixup -- the kitchen had prepared our order twice, but we all figured it out. Food was hot, and looked tasty. All sides were delicious! The various chicken sides all had their own flavors and we couldn't really tell which ones they were, but all were well-balanced. The Kilauea Chicken had a slight kick to it. The Dole Whip was given to us when we asked for it, and was really good as well. I appreciated how they include a good portion of white rice and pasta salad with the meal. Great customer service all around. I love how they play Hawaiian folk music throughout the dining area which was quite large. They also have a patio outside to enjoy the outdoors. Fantastic experience, we'll be back! read more

I recently found this place and starting coming here. I love the food and service. Really friendly and fast delivery of food. I love the convenience how it is next to the outlet mall so I can shop afterwards. I have been to this location several times and very friendly service and great food and I will continue to go back. First and last time eating here. First the food is really below average but the interaction I saw with a female manager and a delivery driver was unacceptable. She asked him to fill out a form with his personal information so she could "track delivery drivers"! This is not acceptable behavior for a manager to ask this of someone who is providing them a service. read more

Oh I loved this! It's often so hard to find something like this that's gluten-free, but this was perfect . I got the Honolulu classic w veggies instead of mac- flavor of the chicken was amazing! Wow, I can't believe there is a drive thru Hawaiian fast food in our town. This is a first! I wasn't super hungry and ordered 2 small portion of the Kalua pork and the Huli chicken. Really not much food for $6.50. So it might be better worth to get the larger portion. However what I did love was the dole whip smoothie?! I got swirl which is I think strawberry and pineapple. I've never been to Hawaii so I can't attest to the authenticity of this chain, but the flavor of the meat is so delicious! There are multiple options to choose from, but my go-to are the Molokai and Huli Huli. They give lots of rice and Mac, so worth the price! I know a gain a few pounds or so when visiting Texas, but this lunch had us stuffed, especially before a pretty long road trip (by east coast standards anyway) Their dole drink was next level, and their lunch options were super savory and sweet. Only real contention (and maybe this was made to the palette of the region) but I would've preferred more seaweed on my spam musubi. (Like all the seaweed. First time I tried Hawaiian Bros, what a huge disappointment. The vegetables were basically raw. The ratio of meat to rice is laughable-80% rice 20% meat, instead of filling up the compartment with meat they filled half with rice then very little chicken and pork. I guess the price of rice has gone up for $15. The "pineapple skewer" was 3 small pieces for $1.50 took one bite and threw it away, I never want to taste disgusting pineapple again! This place is great. It's got a ton of Hawaiian flavors packed into each bite, the customer service is just outstanding. The person working the counter was not only friendly, but they took their time helping me walk through the menu and choosing out what I wanted. I got the spam musubi to start and had just the small portion of the Molokai because it was just lunch time . Both we're excellent and I would highly recommend. This is a difficult rating, but I'm rounding up to 4 stars because there was nothing inherently wrong with the meats we had, and the place is clean and the staff was friendly. What gives me pause is the lackluster starches, vegetables, and a fair amount of sugar in several of the dishes. The rice is super plain white rice, and they seem to hand out as much as possible. A request to substitute macaroni salad with spring vegetables netted the veggies, plus two scoops of rice, and rice under the meat course. The veggies themselves were not seasoned well, but at least they weren't overcooked. The macaroni salad, frankly, is just sad. The pasta itself was a nice al dente, but the "sauce" has no discernable taste. So, why the four stars? The two meat dishes we tried, Molokai and Kilauea, were really good. The meat itself (and yes, it's dark meat, but try it before you knock it) was tender and juicy, and the sauce was very tasty. Be aware that the "sweet and spicy" dishes are quite high in sugar, as is the Pacific Island Salad, so if you're watching carbs/sugar, check the nutrition info first. Even though there was way too much rice, a little of it goes well with the chicken. We sampled the teriyaki and pineapple BBQ sauces, and both were very good. Finally, we nabbed a pineapple Dole Whip for dessert. I've not had the original at any of the Disney properties, but this stuff was delicious and quite decadent for what it contains. It's not health food by any stretch, but it's not as processed and full of "stuff" as some desserts. Bottom line: This place embraces the "small menu" concept, and the meats seem to be quite good, but it's harder to try to put together a complete meal. read more
