Recently visited this place and I'll definitely be going back often when I want bibimbap. I enjoyed their hot stone option though it did take awhile for our food to come when we went as they had lots of online orders so it's not as fast as you might think. I like that there's so many protein options and you can decide how you want the egg cooked. Everything is customizable which is nice. Good mandu dumplings and crispy shrimp. They have a couple choices for sauce including their signature which is salty and sweet and maybe a tiny bit spicy.

We are big fans of Burning Rice and were excited to try this new location. Right away noticed an upgrade- all kiosk ordering. Only way to order is at the self-order kiosk. Come prepared. Our foot was the on brand sizzling hot! (Listen to my video snip!) It was tasty, and just what I was craving. I love the versatility in options. So many flavors! And appreciate the pan seared tofu. I love the hit bowl that continues to cook my food. We also ordered spring rolls. We will mos def be back!!

My wife & I came here after church. The food tasted pretty good. Unfortunately, we felt the service was not done well as they forgot our side items until we had to ask for them. After a while the server check and found out they had not even started and rushed it out to is. The atmosphere was chill though. We may try this place again and hopefully service will be better.

It's was a great experience you should come here. I was able to get my right order and if something was wrong with my order they were able to fix it. They were very nice and the restaurant is very clean. The food was amazing and delicious as always.

Casual Korean food on the go or dine-in, but definitely worth the stay! This fast food type service has a screen where you place your order and take a number. You'll wait for your order to be brought out. I would HIGHLY recommend you dine-in because the hot stone bowl is only available dine-in (if you're on the go you can still get a bowl to go). We built our own bowls- kimchi rice, all the toppings, and protein was spicy chicken. The only variation in the bowls were how the egg was prepared- scrambled vs over easy. The sauce options are endless & tasty! Sesame, house made soy sauce, gochujang, and signature sauce. All are great additions to the bowl! The best part was our bowl was steaming hot the entire time. We loved this experience, and hope to be back again soon.

As a dad and self-proclaimed restaurant reviewer (mostly for the benefit of my son, who just nods while shoveling food in his mouth), I have to say--Burning Rice in Allen is absolutely on fire! And I mean that in the best way possible. This location is a new location, but they've already got everything running like a well-oiled (or well-sizzled) machine. The staff? Super friendly. The service? Fast and efficient. The bathrooms? Clean enough to make me say, 'Wow, they actually care!' And the food? Oh man, the food. I'm still in disbelief that I have my very own Burning Rice this close to home. My son and I both got hot bowls with an egg on top, and let me tell you--these bowls arrived sizzling like a dad on the first warm day of BBQ season. The wooden casing around the bowl keeps the heat in, so be careful because these things could double as a hand warmer in the winter. But that heat is what makes the magic happen--the rice gets perfectly crispy at the bottom, the flavors mix beautifully, and every bite is an explosion of Korean BBQ goodness. This isn't my first time at Burning Rice, but it's my first time at Burning Rice in Allen. Needless to say, I'll be here a lot and will continue my exploration of their awesome menu. Seriously, I might start measuring time in "how long until I get another Burning Rice bowl" instead of days and hours.

Went in for a quick lunch since it's near my doctor. The food was fresh, hot and good. Thank goodness for the sweet server who stood and helped me with my order. I am picky and you have to order on their computer. I prefer human. Yes, I'm old. LOL Will definitely go back!

This is my first time to this restaurant and recommend it to me by a South Korean business owner I know. It was very tasty and a decent value. I would definitely go back again and try some different sauces on the spicy pork next time.

The food was good, if not the greatest BBQ I've ever had, but the overall experience was much fun. The restaurant is in the form of a large barn with ample seating and a walk-through line where you can pick out your meat and then any sides and drinks you'd like. I enjoyed having the "conundrum" of trying to figure out which of the meats to try as they stare at you from the smoker, all saying, "Pick me!" My first visit to any BBQ place is nearly always to try the pulled pork, figuring that if they can't get that right, nothing else is likely all that good. That's not always true, but since pulled pork is one of my favorites, it's a good approach anyway. :) I took my platter laden with an abundant amount of pulled pork and then selected corn on the cob, cole slaw, a slice of custard pie, and a sweet tea. After paying, I made my way into the main dining area and selected a high-top wooden table along the wall that was, shall we say, very awkward to sit at based on how the stationary stool was positioned in conjunction with the table, so I moved to a nearby regular table that was just fine. There's plenty of outdoor seating, but based on the temperature that day, I chose to stay inside. Digging in, I found the pulled pork to be good, but it was a little dry and salty. The standard house BBQ sauce was good, though, and the corn on the cob was very nice. The cole slaw was about what you'd expect, and the custard pie was tasty, even if it wasn't the best I'd ever had. The sweet tea was excellent. What I probably loved most, though, was eating all this in that environment, with the Texas-American paraphernalia hanging on the walls and a radio station playing nothing but 80s and 90s country music over the speakers--the years when I loved country the most. I wanted a BBQ experience as big as Texas while I was here, and I got that. For that reason, my visit to Hard Eight was a hit, and I will happily visit again on a future trip.

But our curiosity based on reviews and menu options got us to decide on this place. We seated ourselves as place was basically empty. I got the smashed burger with hill country on bed of nachos, my wife is vegetarian so she got the grilled avocado with Fajita Cantina on bowl of buttered lime rice. Our friends got Brisket on hacienda and then had switch it to hill country as the hacienda had tomatoes in queso and bowl of buttered lime rice and smoked chicken with buttered lime rice. None of the entries had any flavor. Hill country tasted like only BBQ sauce and there was not even a hint of mole. Brisket was fine but damp rice made the entree subpar Grilled avocado wqs grilled and again the rice was damp. Smoked Chicken was hard as well. Appetizers were the only good part of experience. Waitress stopped by and asked us if everything was good, my wife said food was mediocre. There was nothing done to make it right. I managed to finish mine but rest of them left the restaurant without finishing and hungry. 14$+ for an entree and it lacked anything to write about. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for the food or service.

I went with a friend of mine for breakfast around 1030. First time for breakfast here for both of us. I ordered a couple tacos and a pancake. My friend got the breakfast platter and a pancake. We were given a number, got our drinks and went to ta table. About 20 minutes in, no food. We were greeted by a very nice member of staff and talked with him for a bit. But when that was done we realized it had been about 35 minutes. No food. A waiter comes by and asked if we had the pancakes. We said yes. He told us they were out because a football team came in right before we did and ended up ordering like all they had for the day. You can't make this up. So I asked ok but where's the rest of our food? I'll check on it he said. So I leaned over to the table next to us and ask if they were still waiting on their food since they had been there a while also and they said yes did you also order the pancakes? Lol We laughed and said yeah but we should get the rest of our food no? they ended up leaving. About 10 minutes later another waiter comes and asked if the manager had spoken to us. Nope just a waiter. So he goes to get him. He comes back 5 minutes later cause the manager was helping to cook and would be with us soon. So we def in well over an hour now. Manager finally comes and is the most apologetic he could possibly be. Told us straight up our other food was never made and he would make it right now. And he would comp our meal. So that was already a really good turnaround. But when he brings the food out he also brought us a rack of pork ribs because the initial employee we talked to told him about us wanting to try the pork ribs another time and he just gave us some. Could really not have asked him to have done more to make up for everything. That alone will make me return to this location a lot. Food was fine but their courteousness and willingness to make the situation right and go beyond earned a customer for life.

Rodeo Goat seems more of a schtick theme. We started with the "Steaming Pile," which is basically characterized as bacon-cheese tots with additional goat cheese & a sunny side up egg. The egg was properly cooked. The portion was small for $10. It's really not a shareable size for more than two light eaters. There was zero hint of truffle oil. The Cowboy Cobb salad was a healthy portion, and all was good except for two things: the "jalapeño croutons" were not crispy in any way - they were like what would happen if a mushy hush puppy and tempura batter had a love child and it wrapped itself around an uncivilized jalapeño trying to socially climb. The second was that the burger patty had no cheese (why bother?) & I know it was an add-on. I ordered the Inspector Clousseau. Not much of a smash on the over-cooked patties. And, yes, I know what to expect from smash burger, but again, these patties were two the thickness of anything I've ever seen called a smash burger. More importantly, the pan sauce poured over the entire plate was cold and congealed. Generally, the flavor was okay. The service was nice, but at premium prices, I'm looking for elevated effort from the kitchen.
