Hawaii's Finest Clothing is like walking into a club as this vibrant shop does start from it's storefront with the cool neon logo shining bright along side the huge window with their various logos. Walking in you can see that every corner of the shop is filled with amazing decor that sometimes felt secondary to the merchandise, even their music is showcased with flair. So much to choose from along with lots of clearance items making it a great deal shopping here is an experience to find clothing for the whole group. Service here is very friendly and helpful though I didn't find anything today know that I will be back to support this amazing local small biz as they have so many great clothing to express ourselves. NO ALOHA at HiFiClothing Ala Moana! My husband went to exchange a couple of shirt he got for gifts- he didn't want a refund, just to change the size because the shirts he received are way too large. He needed smalls. First the female sales associate said they didn't carry the color he received, but he said he just wanted a small shirt. She said he had to return it to where he got it from....IT WAS A GIFT!!! He didn't know where they got it from. Then he found a small in the other shirt he received and the male sales associate asked if he had a gift receipt. No, we didn't have one. So he asked "when did you receive it?" My husband said on May 19. He said "Oh, that's more than 30 days-we can't exchange it." Today is the 20th of June. Seriously!?!?! One day late and no grace period!?!??! So now he's stuck with 2 shirts that he can't use....So CAUTION! DO NOT BUY ANY GIFTS from this place. I know if the person he got the gifts from knew they had such a strict policy, she would have warned him to rush and exchange them. Horrible customer experience. I support local, but this brand needs to get with the times and start adding RETURNS to their policy. I was told after the fact that I can't return an item that I just recently purchased, as a gift. Girl was so sassy telling me that it's written on the receipt, like girl--receipts are made AFTER purchases, not before. Had I known ahead of time, I would not have purchased it at all. Now I have a credit that I'll likely never use--I guess that's a great way for business owner to maximize profits, if they don't ever allow returns. My wife purchased a 5XL aloha shirt for me today and the BRAND NEW 5XL IS SMALLER THAN MY WASHED 4XL aloha shirt. He has gone to Vegas twice and won big! I'm so grateful. But, I didn't stop there. I purchased additional short, shirt, and a red wind breaker jacket my son. The staff was very helpful, patient, running back and forth pulling shirts that were plastic wrapped. From the stock room. They were very friend. That's very nice of them. Everyone in Hawaii wears this clothing brand..... but lets just talk about my experience. First of all, I wear a size medium for everything when it comes to my T-Shirts, but my medium shirts here are a little bit snug, and when I wash and dry them, they SHRINK so much. The quality of the material sucks, honestly, and it fades so quickly. I just ordered 2 medium shirts online and they did not fit. Stopped by this location wanting to get one of their recently new drops of the yellow hibiscus crop tops for a little girl like me, its a perfect fit! Mostly known for their events and bomb island wear clothing is HAWAII'S Finest. Following them on social media is a must to be up to date on all their events new products. This location is located in the sam parking lot with Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and the Open Market near Ward Centers. On busy days may be crowded with parking to find. Upon entering their store I was greeted by Kale and he automatically offered to help me find anything I needed. At first I didn't and then when I did he helped with open arms and questions to help get what I needed. With a good amount of others walking in as well he was good at multi tasking tending to other questions others had as well. Inside the store everything was NEAT and ORGANIZED. I absolutely love stores that are great for shopping and not cluttered at all. Open spaces as well. During the COVID pandemic they do have sanitizer to use prior to shopping. I need to give this place another shout out! This location (Ohana Marketplace) in particular always provides excellent service, especially today. I was at the Kapolei location but the item I wanted had a tiny, but noticeable stain. Immediately I called this location to see if they had the item available, and indeed they did. FYI: This location will hold an item for you, provided you come within the day, and at least within a decent amount of time. Came in, got the product without a hitch, and carried on with my day (of course, after I had paid for whatever I needed). My first job was in customer service (R.I.P. full service gas stations) and I did not have a clue what "giving extraordinary customer service" looked like back then. Luckily, most customers forgave me. I was just there to get paid. So nowadays, when I see our teen keikis running the cash register or on the floor (sometimes called "the frontline"), I already hold my expectations low because our keikis are still learning. However, the young people employed here at Ward HI's Finest always impress me by their enthusiasm and eagerness to provide me and my family great customer service. Update review: August 13, 2019 I have to congratulate the owners of this business for all their gracious followers that they have, because without their followers, the business wouldn't flourish to be what it is today. They bring out new products every month as such people come out and purchase these products almost causing a sell out. Here is the down side. Be careful with what you purchase. You have only 14 days to return an item, and if you do, only exchanges or store credit allowed. I think if you purchase within 14 days and it's in resealable condition, it should be refunded how it was paid. Lastly, with all the business this store generates, not one greet when you enter the store, no smiles, hello or thank yous at the counter. It makes me wonder why I keep patronizing a business like this. read more

I order a lot of clothes from Hawaii's Finest clothing online because I really enjoy the quality and their designs. I like how they use heavy cotton in their t-shirts so the sizing is consistent to any other shirt I wear. It's definitely a plus to have clothing that fits nice on big rice eating guys like myself. I used to order from other Hawaiian clothing brands, but those companies have transitioned to ring-spun cotton for their t-shirts and they don't size correctly and fit way too tight. Well, while we were vacationing on Oahu...it was great to stop by the store and pick up some more gear for myself and family plus some stuff to bring back as souvenirs for others. read more

I was gifted a t-shirt from Hawaii's Finest and was impressed by the quality and how comfortable the shirt was. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the Ala Moana shop and started jamming to the Hawaiian music pumping from the back of the store. I already knew what I wanted from checking out their online selection and l knew my size so I never needed to try anything on. Their selection of T-shirts was pretty extensive. There was plenty of inventory to choose from and their shirts were very neatly displayed. I went in there for a couple of shirts but ended up leaving with way more because I liked all the different designs. Their prices are comparable to other shops but what I like about Hawaii's Finest shirts is truly the quality of them and the fitment. There was other good looking aloha attire and hats for sale as well. Definitely recommend this store if your looking for some stylish clothing to wear on the daily. read more

No one greets you as you enter the store, no one checks up to see if you have found everything that you were looking for. When trying on clothing I had to call my boyfriend from across the store to grab me a size I needed. Not once did an employee come to check if I needed another size even though I'm sure they heard me calling out to my boyfriend for a different size. Came in to buy and support the Mauna Kea shirt. But the service was horrible, teller didn't make eye contact as if she was already prejudging me for buying the shirt. We honestly didn't feel welcome in the store the lady looked mean (looked hard) didn't feel aloha at all. With all do respect without the costumer making purchase, there wouldn't be any business henceforth the employee wouldn't get paid, right? Based on the previous reviews, the company haven't made any changes as far as the mannerism of the employees. Bottom line. Rude rude rude. The "short female" is the only description I have for the supervisor because no one has a name tag. Two different visits, first in May 2021 I had to exchange a board shorts I ordered online "short female" questions when I received it, cuz the postage was 17 days ago. Then goes on to tell us no more the size in the style and just stares at my son and I. I end up getting a size for someone else. She does not explain anything about "store credit" or any options. Second visit was June 24 around 5:45. I needed a last minute gift for 'ohana on Maui and HIFinest was always our go to until this day. This time was my hubby and I. We walked in and no one greeted us(or tell us they closing in 15 minutes) looked at keiki tshirts, then walked around the whole store, my hubby asked about a backpack set (she answers), we end up by the T-shirt wall and I decide I like a print on the rack in front. She rudely tells me "you can't buy that, it drops tomorrow" So I go back to the "keiki tshirts $15" rack, find two cute T-shirt and go to the register, I take one of the tshirts off the hanger from the bottom because I don't like the necks stretch out and she just pulls the other tshirt by the neck. Then tells me $41 something, so I point to the sign and say "$15 keiki shirt" then she replies "that's tomorrow's price" After all that horrible customer service. I decided not to spend our kala (money) there and left at 6:03. "Short female" yells at the nice girl to unlock the door. Then realized they closed at 6:00. No respect, no customer service, no aloha. The worst Online Customer service. Ordered a 2XL jersey (website said it was in stock) after I check out it says X-small. I immediately email the company within 1 minute advising of the problem ( this is at 9am HI time) I don't get a response back til the next day after the order has shipped. I try to call the store, they say online customer service is email only. I get back a generic response saying " No Refunds, but we will exchange it" . I ask for a return address to send it. No response. The X-small shows up with a invoice in it and a return address. I pay for shipping and send it out the same day. In-between the order being placed and the time I shipped it back, I emailed them for updates. Only the same generic response. The item gets delivered back to them 5 days later, I send another email asking if the received it and when I can expect the correct size. 24 hours later I get an email saying. Sorry since the item was discounted , No Refunds, No Exchange or Store Credit. ( Would have been nice to get that email 1st and not have to pay shipping). Called the store again and talked to a manager , she said you probably hit 2xl when ordering and if it was out of stock the website would have switched it to another size in stock. I have ordered several things from this company during the pandemic. NEVER AGAIN! read more

My cousins from the mainland asked me if I could go to the store to pick up a few hoodies for them... as there was a new design coming out today. They really wanted that new design... so they can sport them in the snowy weather they're having right now. I walked in there with a smile... only to receive the same customer service as the previous yelp reviewers-- the girl behind the counter did not greet anyone coming in or going out the store... and while i was still talking to her... she totally disregarded me and picked up her cell phone and started using her phone... right in front of me, mid-sentence. Maybe she was having a bad day. Hmmmm... maybe not bcuz her demeanor definitely changed... when who appears to be management above her came to the registers... she suddenly became more customer-service-oriented. 1 star for the service.... drove to town from central side looking for something specific which wasn't available online. Walked into the store n there were quite a few people that were already in there due to the releasing of their new line that released this afternoon. Behind the counter ii would say there were about 5 young men n woman working. NO ONE ii mean NO ONE greeted ANYONE as they came into the store. They acted as if "we" as customers owed them something! ii dont like writing reviews like this and ii was hoping ii would experience different than others that had the se experience. You folks cancelled an item I ordered from your online sale this weekend stating 6 hours after the order was charged to my credit card that you no longer had the item 6 hours later but were still shipping out the full priced item with the ridiculous shipping cost. I was only enticed to get the full priced item because I thought it would compliment the other on sale jersey that you abruptly cancelled. Point is that I didn't want the full priced item without the other item you cancelled. Their staff is always welcoming and helpful and I like that they open late too. I like coming to buy things for myself and to send out as gifts to family off island.
