At the beginning, one of the employees gave an interesting ten minute lesson on alpacas, the difference between them and llamas, and some other random facts and safety tips. We then got to visit two different pens and interact with the llamas. Included in your fee is a small bag of their food which went a long way. The alpacas all had different personalities but they were all friendly. We really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend checking them out!

Many of them said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The setting is so beautiful, and we had our ceremony outside in the pavilion. Cocktail hour was out on the porch/lawn, and the reception was in the main room. Everything was impeccably set up and decorated, and the staff worked so hard to bring my vision to life. The caterer that they recommended was excellent, and there was seamless coordination between the winery and all of the vendors. Brook Hollow has a large, diverse selection of wines, and we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed several of them throughout the day. We look forward to going back in the future for some of the winery's events, as well as to the tasting room to enjoy and stock up on the amazing wines.

It was a beautiful sunny warm day, so we decided to enjoy the flight outside. The grounds are beautiful. The place was not crowded when we visited. There was only one other couple visit visiting with two dogs. The one thing that bugged me, the samples were poured into "plastic". Next visit, I will speak up. Of the 6 wines, WE LOVED the "Reserved Chardonnay" $25 and "Reserved Cab. Franc" $45. Of course, our two favorites came home with us! Sign-in process for the tourney was smooth, golf club staff was helpful and friendly. The interior has some nice decor, the Pro Shop was fully stocked and well maintained. Didn't use the driving range nor the practice green, so I can't provide input on those two areas. The course was in great shape with a links style layout. There were some challenging holes...from the tee box to green in 100ft elevation changes, some blind spots from tee box to the fairway. It was a warm day out and the humidity was high, so it was nice the staff was handing out ice cold water bottles throughout the golf course. Definitely recommend a cart for this course, walking can be a challenge with the many hills and the distance between greens and tee-boxes. They hosted a luncheon after the tournament, food was great and everything turned out great. Will try to return before winter arrives. One Suggestion: better signage directing traffic to the next hole/tee-box for some of the holes.
