One star unfortunately.. and that's only because zero is not an option…read more I went to pick up a few items of mine a week or two ago and noticed one of the items was damaged (pics to follow). I quickly noticed and told the front desk who directed me to leave it there and I'd receive a call from the Manager or Owner. Time went by... and you guessed it, NO CALL. Today I remembered to give them a call about my damaged item. I was again told the owner would call me. This time he did. We talked for twenty minutes and got absolutely nowhere. His equipment damaged my shirt and he told me it must have been normal wear and tear while in their possession. He noted this was his conclusion as he noticed wear and tear in two other spots. DISCLAIMER-- there was NO OTHER wear and tear. I told him this wouldn't fly with me and as a fellow business owner he should do the right thing, I even offered to meet him at half the price of my now ruined polo. He said this was essentially the chance we take going to his dry cleaners.. please note that anyone potentially deciding between this location and LOMBARD -- LOMBARD HAS DIFFERENT OWNER AND TOLD ME HE'D never do this to a customer). The owner proceeded to tell me I was even lucky the shirt was still there as I hadn't picked up in 30 days and he should have donated it. Yes, it was tough for me to get there as my wife was in the hospital for two months. In conclusion, I didn't have any issues with this location prior, the women who work there are nice, never actually met the owner, this all occurred via the phone. However, I disagree with the owner's style and if this is how he treats folks just beware when deciding where to go. At worst I would have accepted $50 (the polo was likely triple). He couldn't even do that. Oh and then when I asked how I file a claim, he told me he would not let me.. what sort of business does that? It's principle now, no one in my family or friends circle will ever utilize them again. A shame that a business man doesn't realize doing the right thing would in fact have continued to make him more money. The End. Goodbye Glen Ellyn location. Unless they do the right thing in which case I would remove this post. (If possible). One of the employees was even nice enough to pose showing exactly where her employer's equipment tore and damaged my shirt so I could post it on google.

I initially thought it was due to age of short but after my new shirt came back with a scuffed collar I realized it must be how they clean shirts. I attempted to resolve with the owners and they argued repeatedly that it was because my shirts were old. When showing them the same brand shirt that was older without any damage they continued to argue and would not offer any solution to make things right. Stay away! They are unethical and their process will eventually damage your clothes.

Dropped off 3 sport coats. Time quote was 7 days to get them done. Came in before 4pm on the 7th…read moreday and still wasn't ready. Said i had to wait till 4pm. I guess they need a week to dry clean 3 garments when every other place in country needs 1-3 days. I'll go with someone else next time. Cleaning was average at best. I had eloped in Chicago a month ago, so it was dirty along the hemline from walking around. We had a delayed reception and I was wanting to wear the dress again for those close to us and photo opportunities. When I dropped off the dress in the beginning of October, I had asked to have it back in a couple of weeks, by the 16th. Becky said no problem, they would have it the 13th. No phone calls were made to me, but I stopped by on the 19th and the dress was nowhere to be found. Becky found my ticket in a stack with others, mentioned it must be out to be pressed, and wrote a note to call me. I told her I would be back on the 22nd because I needed it that day. Still no word and becoming a nervous wreck, I had called the afternoon of the 21st to check status, Becky still didn't have the dress! She called me back in a few minutes claiming her boss would have it there by 4pm. I asked for a call when the dress actually arrived so I could pick up. She had called after 4:30p to tell me the dress was there, but they close at 5pm (which is different than what's posted on Google), so I told her I would pick up on the morning of the 22nd. I was hoping with the lack of customer service, the fact the dress wasn't available when promised and that it literally wasn't ready until the day needed, that I would be given a discount. Nope! I arrived 9am on the 22nd for pick up and was charged $50...and it must be cash or check. I was happy to have the dress and when I needed it, and it looked great...until I went to put it on. The cup which was sewn on from the bridal store was barely attached. Thankfully my husband is handy and he was able to tack it into place for me. There also is what looks like a blood stain on the hemline, which seems extremely odd. After all the stress, anxiety and lack of care for my garment, I have to say that they will not retain my business. I'm utterly disappointed, not just with the condition of my dress after pick up, but the subpar customer service, no concern for the unhappy customer or offer to rectify or apologize.
