I was disappointed by my experience because I feel the service was significantly overpromised during the sales process. The salesperson assured me that I would notice a major difference after the very first treatment. However, when the technician came out for the second visit this month, I was told something completely different. He explained that the mosquito problem would actually get worse before it got better and that it could take about a month before I would see noticeable improvement. He also explained that the ant problem in my backyard could take anywhere from five days to a week before showing results. I appreciate the technician for being honest and setting realistic expectations, but his explanation directly contradicted what I was promised by the salesperson. It left me feeling like the salesperson was more focused on making a sale and earning a bonus than providing accurate information about what to expect. It also felt like the technician was left trying to manage the unrealistic expectations that had already been set. One of the reasons I chose this company was because I was told their service and products were superior to competitors like Orkin. So far, my experience has not reflected those claims. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously by ensuring that sales representatives provide honest, realistic expectations instead of making promises that the service cannot immediately deliver. Accurate communication builds trust, while unrealistic promises only lead to disappointed customers. read more

I am SO surprised and happy with the excellent service I received from Hawx Pest Control. This should be a 10 STAR rating! Not only did the very personable, kind, and knowledgeable Omar come on time, he kept me informed of what he was going to do and did do! He was thorough, even providing photos where I could visibly actually see where he sprayed outside. The important thing is that today, the day after, there are NO bugs to be seen anywhere. The ants had basically taken over my home and now, they are gone! I feel so relieved! At one point they actually invaded my bed and no, I do not eat food in bed. The ants were just every place you looked--even on me and my pets. I had never heard of Hawx previously, but now want to shout their company name from the rooftops! Excellent customer care; excellent attention to detail. I am older and this is the service we used to have when I was a child. You pay for a service and you receive that service in abundance!!! I didn't know how long it would take for the process, no one said 'exactly', but I am over the moon happy. I figured it could take a week as ants are a VERY resilient species of many types. Hawx said the technician will return between services if I 'see' the ants returning AFTER they are gone. Well, the ants are gone. I wish the Hawx company continued success! I received a call from a salesman from Hawx. He said he would have a serviceman come and spray my home of tiny little ants coming into our home. Said he would only charge $50.00. He told me I had to sign a DocuSign. But after the first spray, I could call and cancel the service account I signed. I called the next day because ants started coming in again. The person on the other line from Hawx said they only come once every 3 months. I told them to cancel me as I did not need a service that tells their customers when they come out without any concern about ants coming into their homes. So it was only the day after. Now this was in Sept. 2025, still pulling money out of my account. And in December, they pulled $102.50, and now when I called them about that issue, they told me I have to pay $389 for cancellation. read more

He did provide services based on our concerns, however when I asked about processes described by the sales rep, he said they don't do those; i.e. spraying under eaves and fogging for mosquitoes. One of the Hawx pest control salesmen came to my door, wouldn't take no for answer. Very rude. Would never hire these scammers. $400 to set up baits and then $80 a month. I could do it for a lot cheaper with spray. If you like salesmen coming to your door and trying to force you to buy something, this is the company for you. Jaime was also here at my home back in August, 2025. I re-read my comments from back then, and all information is still accurate. He even smelled "fresh and clean" so very pleasant. He reminded me that I can always ask for these intermediate service calls. Usually, the quarterly exterior spraying and cobweb removal is all my home needs to stay pest-free. I called upon Hawx to request this intermediate service because I recently had ants in my kitchen and bath...also, TWO spiders! They are not welcome here. It may seem a bit pricey considering Hawx monthly charge, but...believe me. It is a great value to be pest-free and I have very few "invaders" all year. read more
