The business owner charged me extra $5 for not eating the rice of the sushi. They forced the customer eat everything on the table not one thing left. I order 10 pieces of sushi and left 7 pieces of rice cause too much rice we can't finished. Therefore, the owner charged me extra $5. I talk to the owner and she is unwilling to remove the charge. Worse business I ever seen. People have to be very careful to look at the bill before pay for the bill. They are very sneaky charge on the bill that the customer will not notice. Plus, they charged you tea too $3/ person. Usually when customer dine in the restaurant, the tea is free, but not this restaurant. The extra charge very unreasonable. Went today with my partner for lunch. The set up and decorations in the restaurant are excellent. The layout makes it feel like each table has privacy. The service was quick, attentive, but not helicoptering, and extremely professional. The food was of excellent quality. We were both really happy with everything we had. This place has the best sushi in Springfield! As far as. Ordering. All you do is write down what you want on a piece of paper, they take it and come back with sushi and the paper for you to order more. What they didn't. Tell us is they charge you for left. Over pieces. We had 4 left over pieces out of probably 40+ apps we ordered and when we couldn't finish they wanted us to take it. First visit last evening. Just as good as I was hoping; the food was great and there was a nice selection. You got a form to fill out with what you wanted, and the order was filled pretty quickly. You get the form back so you can order over and over again. Enjoyed some appetizers: baby octopus skewers, shumai, crab rangoon. You could get different types of sushi, sashimi, maki, hand rolls, and more. Service was very friendly, and fast. We had beer, but I believe they now serve mixed drinks and hard liquor. This place is amazing! I don't personally like fish but they have a bunch of different options for anything you could basically want. They also have A very nice dessert menu that consists of tempura oreo, plain vanilla ice cream , and green tea ice cream! The staff here is the best as well always making sure that they take the dirty dishes out of the way to make sure you have room for everything else all very nice. Went for the first time for my birthday back in January. The service and food then was excellent! We had a group of 14 and everyone at my party left happy! I have since been 3 other times, and unfortunately each time my experience has been worse and worse. Took my daughter out for an early dinner today just the 2 of us. We were the only guests in the building. Another 2 families joined after we were paying our bill. For starts, the guy at the front (Host) paid absolutely no attention to us as we waited to be seated. He stayed glued to his cellphone the entire time we were there. The waitresses spoke very little to no English so asking for something like napkins and the bill was a challenge. They also forgot many items that we had ordered on the AYCE! We will not be returning. read more

Food was not good at all. Shumai was soggy and inside was cold. Chicken teriyaki was a thin piece of grilled chicken with a drizzle of teriyaki and sesame seeds, chicken wings had no flavor at all. Crab Rangoon, gyoza, and coconut shrimp were all actually really good. But everything else I had taste like a frozen dinner. Sushi was decent but nothing to brag about. Visited here the other day. Arrived at 4pm to a mostly empty restaurant. Waited on promptly and an explanation of the ordering procedure was concise. I perused my options and ordered 2 rolls, miso soup, Edamame and a beer. All very tasty. Next, I ordered 2 hand rolls and some sashimi. Again, all pretty good. Employees were extremely nice and efficient! The sushi was good, but not quite as fresh as I would have liked. But, for the money and the choices...you can't go wrong! BEWARE OF CHARGING SCAMS: mandatory 18% gratuity added to the bill for a party of two. When we asked for clarification on "the waste charge" the waitress said "oh no sorry" just don't order too much, try not to waste! Because we didn't finish our rolls, there was a $10 up charge regardless if we took them home or not. This is the most ridiculous scam type deal I have ever experienced. When I voiced that we had asked for clarity, the other waitress said " well English isn't her first language". We understood her just fine, that's why we asked for clarity. It has to be illegal to add gratuity on tables of two and up charge for food not eaten. I will definitely never order or eat here again. This was my weekly order spot, but after this dine in experience with a friend from out of town! Never again. I will contact the city about these practices and bogus charges. $16.95 per person all you can eat, 18% mandatory gratuity (I've never left less than 20%), plus some fake arbitrary amount based on how much food you "didn't eat" regardless if you take it or not! 3 rolls, edamame, two crabraggons and maybe a large spoonful of rice came to our table. We ordered once, not twice or three time. We ordered what we thought was enough for two people. Super small portions except the rolls. One order!! All pleasant and attentive. It appeared that some of our servers were being trained and that may be why we had so many servers. All over, awesome food and friendly service. To comment on their great customer service while we were sitting down 1 person at our party said it was a birthday dinner. Nobody said anything else in regards to this but the waitress must've been listening and they forced an ice cream and a song on our party. It was a happy surprise for the birthday person BECAUSE I feel I need to. To anyone that sees the low star reviews I think you need to look at them and read what they had to say. What was said I won't disagree with cause I wasn't there, but, every restaurant/bar needs an adjustment period. Went today for the opening and it was horrible. Second table to arrive but we didn't get our food til 2 hours in. For 3 people we paid 100$ including tax, but ate less than 30$ worth because of how long it took for our first order of food to come. If one person does all you can eat, the whole table has to. Staff seems overwhelmed. Watched multiple tables get up and leave due to service. They would need to make some serious changes to get me back in the door.
