My TPS tire sensor light came on and stopped reading the pressure. I was driving by and decided to pull into Hayward Tire Pros. It was early morning and they fortunately had an opening. Quoted their price for their TPS sensors and the price of their labor. After agreeing to the pricing for labor which was reasonable compared to other quotes received they proceeded to swap all 4 out and rebalanced all my tires in about 30 minutes. They did to good job and correctly torqued up my lugnuts in a star pattern. Warning light is reset and pressure is reading for all tires . Thanks Hayward Tire Pros. read more

I'm a long time customer here, since Chris was the owner. Today I got my tires replaced there, Shane Ali quoted me $804.44 that was included alignment. I was there at 9 o'clock, I told the guy that I have an appointment at 10 o'clock, would it be enough time to get it done? He said should be fine, he will get it done soon as possible. 10 o'clock he said almost done but didn't have enough time for alignment. After my appointment I came back 2 hours later to get my alignment done. I was charged extra $80, I paid for it, but that would be my last time doing business there. Came in today (July 2) around 3:30pm for a leaky tire I've had for a couple weeks. I refill the air every couple days and I ended up patching a hole myself but then it started leaking still the next day so I had enough lol. The service is very fast, as I called ahead and was told I could come now and the work would be done (install 2 tires) within 30-40 mins (which ended up being true). The only downside is that even after I placed my order on a Sunday, I never did get a call to schedule the installation of the tires (the e-mail confirmation says they would reach out). I had to physically call them to do it. I also found out it is much cheaper to book through them for the purchase/installation then online; I know I'm paying for the convenience but I could have saved a decent amount of money if I went to their store and ordered with them. I didn't have the luxury of time to do that, but something to keep in mind when the back tires are due. read more

I honestly don't know why it took me this long to finally write a review for Hayward Tire Pros when they have helped me so much this past couple of years with my tire needs. Just a little recap before I share my amazing experience with Shane and his crew this weekend. This tire shop is right off the freeway across from the business Costco. Whenever I need my tire patch because Bay Area freeways are so amazing, Hayward Tire Pros has always helped me and has never charged me anything to patch my tires. About 2 months ago, I was in dire need of replacing two of my tires, so of course I decided to go here and get a quote. I received 2 quotes, one for the same set of tires I had on my car which was a little bit more on the expensive side and then I got another quote for the Hercules tire brand. It personally did not make any sense to me to buy 2 brand new tires of the brand I had on my car if it wasn't going to match the rest of my tires so I decided to go with the Hercules brand. I was hoping to just get my tire patch because it kept on going low on me and then they showed me that my tires needed replacing which I also saw and that's when I decided to go with just replacing my tires. Fast forward to this weekend, Saturday (12/09). I am such a procrastinator when I decided to go to their shop at 4:30 when they close at 5 pm on a Saturday. They were closing up shop already and Shane and his team were all ready to go home. I didn't force them I understood if I had to come back on a different day I just wasn't sure when I was gonna be able to come back at that point since I was going to be working starting Sunday. Shane asked me to pull up next to their bay and said they would work on my car. Mind you, all their roll-up gates were already closed and they were ready to close for the night but Shane decided to help me and for this, I am very appreciative. Another challenge they had was that they sold out of the same brand I have on my car. Shane explained to me some options they have for a temporary fix and while we were figuring this out, one of his guys called a different shop to see if they had the same tires and amazingly they did. They told me another shop had it and that it would around 20 minutes for it to get to their shop which I was okay with. Once the tires got there they installed it and I was good to go. Shane explained to me that tire rotations are included on my new tires every 5000 miles. He also suggested I check my alignment which I will come back for. Shane also noticed that my tire sensor was still on and I explained to him that my sensors were bad so he went and checked if that was the issue and thank god we did since 2 out of the 4 tires had a dead sensor. It was also good that they checked cause at least I now know that I only have 4 sensors and that my spare did not have a sensor. All in all, I have never had a bad experience with Hayward Tire Pros. I am not just saying this because of my experience on Saturday. I have seen them in action, helping other customers simply put air on their tires because it's low. You can be someone who needs new tires or someone who simply needs a patch on their tire and they treat you with the utmost respect. They will not try to screw you over just to make a quick buck. They have been here since I moved to Hayward 8 years ago and probably before that. I highly, recommend Hayward Tire Pros for your tire needs. They are very trustworthy and reliable. Came in to get my tires aligned and the guy kept making excuses and assumptions about my car that were false, so much that I corrected him about 5 times until I had to ask him to confirm his assumptions and to his surprise...he was wrong. At that point I knew that guy didn't know what he was talking about ... He Kept mentioning to me "It's going to be pricey"... price is not a worry for me but I felt I wasted so much time going back and forth with this guy I was better off going somewhere else. I take care of our vehicles. When one of our tires found a screw on the road I looked around for a tire shop with good Yelp ratings. The tires are relatively new. I purchased them weeks ago from the local Subaru dealership. When I asked for information on the warranty, the service advisor told me he didn't know, but would get me the information later - there was no warranty. The cost of those tires was competitively priced but without the warranty this was no good deal. Reuben took care of fixing the tire. I was very happy with the service he provided. On a Saturday, I learned that I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I called Hayward Tire Pros to get an estimate on tire inspection and repair. Shane (spelling???) gave me the cost, but stated that if I was close by, I could bring my car in and they would take a look at my tire even though they were about to close. I brought my car in, they found a nail in my tire, and patched it up. Shane handed me my keys and said that he would take care of the cost. THANK YOU Shane! After having such a horrible week, this act of kindness meant a LOT and reminded me that there are still good people out here in society. Most of all, the workers there were friendly and professional to all of their remaining customers for the day. I went in because one of my tires went flat and a friend told me about that I could trust this Tire Pros. I'm an older woman who has gotten used to being 'taken' when I take my car in for anything. I expected to pay for a new tire at the very least but this shop quickly confirmed that my tire was fine. Since they had my car up in the rack and were checking all the tires, I asked them to rotate the tires because it hadn't been done for a few years. Because they did such a good, thorough job, I was more than happy to pay whatever they wanted, but they said not to worry. I almost cried. Without a doubt, I will come here for new tires and I am telling every one I can, that they can trust this Tire Pros to do what is needed for a good price AND to be treated with respect. I swung in because I had a flat, needed a patch and yelp said this place was well reviewed. I called and they took me in right away. I couldnt find the key for my wheel which means they couldn't patch my tire. They told me what i needed to do and WERE SO KIND they did a quick temp patch for me for FREE so i could drive to the dealer to try to get a key for my wheel. I think they knew i was pretty distraught I ended up coming back after the dealer and asked them to do my alignment to while i was there to get the patch, something i've been meaning to do for a while. I am not one to leave negative reviews but I was completely thrown off as there is so many positive reviews of this place. I came in 8 AM this morning to request for four new tires & no one had mentioned any prior customer appointments before me & no one mentioned on ordering any tires, so I assume all my tires were here & ready to be installed. The man working up front quoted me higher prices than I anticipated. There was only one person there before me and was informed that it would take about 1 hour and half to be installed. An hour and half passed so I decided to follow up with a the same front desk worker (not sure if he was the manager) regarding a $100 rebate I saw as promotion on their website. No update was given on the delays at this time. I had to make another appointment at 11:15 AM and I had to travel using Uber as my car was not ready at this time. I even made it back from my appointment to see that my car still had no tires installed at 12:50 PM. I made several attempts to come to speak with the front desk person but was not even given the common courtesy of an update on the long wait time or even that the tires were not in stock at this shop. Was there an apology for waiting 5 hours in this shop or even an effort to redeem this horrible customer service experience and inconvenience of waiting 5 hours at this shop. No. read more

I have been a customer of this location for 10* years. We have purchased many sets of tires, had repairs done, etc. I knew this location was under new ownership/management but didn't think the quality and customer service would go down. I recently purchased a new set of tires a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I took a nail in one of the new tires and brought it here as I've done many times before. The associate tried to tell me they couldn't fix the tire due to nail placement, and I would have to purchase another new one. I said, I have never been told this in the years coming here (even having others in the same place). With new management they're just trying to take more money! I left and immediately took the tire to the Castro Valley Tire Pros, and with zero hassle/issue, they fixed it free of charge since I purchased the tires through Tire Pros. He was told the tire had a nail in it, couldn't be repaired, and we'd need a new tire. He had one to sell over $200. My DH took it to Tire Pros to have them take a look at it. Not only did they patch it up, they did it free of charge. My husband was prepared to pay for the service but was told not to worry about! Had some tires I needed mounted. On a whim I swung by just after opening. They said they could do it now and would take about 30 min. Price was reasonable and it was a no nonsense type of transaction. Tires were mounted and the car has been fine. Only issue I had was that I'm sure they were done in 30 minutes or so but didn't let me know. Their waiting area is small and the tire racks block the view, so I assume they just thought I went to grab something to eat. It would've been nice if they took my number so they could let me know when it was done and I could've gone about my day sooner. All in all still recommend, just be on top of watching your car if you need to get out of there quickly. read more
