Over the years, I have used their services primarily for window tinting and, on one occasion, for the installation of a subwoofer and amplifier in my 2021 Lexus IS. The quality of the work itself was generally acceptable and appeared clean and professional. However, communication, customer service, and turnaround times were consistently poor. My final experience was with my brand-new 2024 Lexus RX 350. During the tint installation, the technician performing the work was careless and repeatedly soaked the interior door panel with water. When I politely expressed concern about it, instead of addressing the issue professionally, he became argumentative and confrontational. To make matters worse, management did nothing to resolve the situation or address my concerns. What left the worst impression was that the technician then closed the garage door, preventing me from observing the work being performed on my vehicle. As a customer entrusting a brand-new luxury vehicle to a business, I found this behavior unprofessional and concerning. After more than a decade of being a loyal customer and bringing multiple vehicles to this shop, I expected far better treatment. Unfortunately, due to the poor customer service, lack of accountability, and overall experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this business to others.

No tint shop has 100% free of imperfection so I am overall happy with the tints. I don't know if they would retint but I also didn't ask so I won't dock them for it. The price is comparable to some other places. I found cheaper ones but either the reviews or poor communication swayed me away from them. They answer quick, so I assume if I have/had an issue they would address it. By the way it's like a 20 min walk to target, so bring a snack/drink while you wait. I had an appointment but there were two other people there already so it did take a few hours.

THE QUOTE: Through Yelp message they gave me a quote for my Tesla though I did not provide % I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment, they told me 30% was only available in ceramic - price was more than quoted. THE MAIN PROBLEM: the ceramic tint is green and my stock tint on the rear windows are brownish. I can definitely notice when looking at the car from the side. I just feel like they should have known and could have told me about the color difference since they have tinted Teslas before. NOW WHAT? I can probably go back and have the tint replaced under warranty since there are a few small bubbles. I was told they can replace with different tint % only if lower or same cost. BUT they will take longer for warranty work since its unpaid - prob over an hour. I just don't feel like waiting so I guess I will live with it for now...

After several chats, then a costly ($1,582.45) visit to Tesla Santa Clara-Northwestern Parkway, Fernando installed a new sheet of Expel XR Black Ceramic to my new rear backlite glass for no charge, as promised. As first reported, my rear defroster ribbons were damaged pre-install. This Tesla service center claims this to be wear and tear for a 2018 M3, even when simply cleaning the rear glass. Online chats and Tesla forums will show that some Tesla service centers will cover this defroster failure for no charge as "goodwill" or "defect," -- just not "warranty." My apologies to Fernando as when he said "cleaning," he really meant a simple cleaning of the glass prior to install! It could have happened to anyone -- including me. It was not clear to me at the time what could have happened to cause this type of damage. My bad for the misunderstanding. (I suppose the takeaway here is it's best to get your car tinted when the rear defroster is new, not after years of sitting in the sun.) And, after further review of my original invoice, Fernando did give me a cash discount as a gesture of goodwill. I look forward to returning to GSAG&T to get my other vehicles tinted.
