I've been bringing my vehicles to YS Window Tint for years, and Yosup has always been professional, respectful, and honest. His pricing is fair, his work is consistently high quality, and he takes the time to make sure customers understand their options rather than simply selling them the most expensive product. For my truck, Yosup recommended ceramic tint and walked me through several tint percentage options. He explained that adding 5% over the factory privacy glass would make the rear windows extremely dark and suggested that 15% would provide a better match to 5% on the front windows. I appreciated the honest advice and his willingness to share his expertise without any pressure. In the end, I decided to go with 5% all the way around because that was the look I wanted, and he was absolutely right. It is extremely dark, but exactly what I was looking for. The customer service was just as impressive as the quality of the work. Although my appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, Yosup accommodated my request to drop the truck off early in the morning so I could pick it up after work. He even finished the job ahead of schedule. I believe it's the shop's responsibility to correctly assess the vehicle details when providing a quote. Even though I could only provided the year, make, and model, I clearly stated--via text--that the car has small windows behind the front ones. After confirming a price, the owner later wanted to add extra $60 for the small windows when I arrived for my appointment . Despite having proof that I mentioned them upfront, he claimed the small windows were not included and insisted on the extra fee. This shows a lack of professionalism in both quoting and communication. I accepted the charge, but unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. My son and I compared tint levels on my current car and specifically requested 20%, knowing it wouldn't be too dark since we weren't tinting the rear windshield. However, when my son picked up the car, it was clearly 30%. The owner didn't recall our conversation and again failed to take responsibility for his oversight. It is my right to share a review based on a negative service experience, and I want to advise future customers to get both the price and the desired tint level in writing before leaving your vehicle. Hopefully, the quality of the tint holds up, but the overall experience left much to be desired. read more

Also, my M2 had interior rattling issues that the dealer fixed under service by replacing some lock and side pins in the doors. However, they did a terrible job putting back the side paneling. Yosup was quick to respond and was transparent on his pricing. I was pleased to see how it's very competitive compared to other shops around South Bay, East Bay, and SF. He was kind to provide several notices to confirm I was still attending my appointment via Instagram and phone too. When I arrived it was at the end of the day on a Friday. Nevertheless he was eager and patient to help me understand the different tint levels. I was also surprised he explained the application on my specific car model's rear window (it can appear unfinished, but it's just a nuance with my car model; after a couple weeks, it looks fine to me!) After showing me tint levels on several cars, he and his team went to work, taking about exactly one hour. Their work demonstrates professionalism--from the sticker warning not to open the windows for several days (and clicking the window lock button for me), to responding immediately to my text when I had a question later in the evening, to cleaning my car a bit too. After a couple weeks, it looks just as nice it did that day. There's zero bubbling or other quality concerns.
