BOOM! the vibe here is so chill and Colorado. Highly recommend this local spot. Chess game going on at the bar. Staff works like perfectly greased cogs in a wheel. Ordered the Cuban with fries and the buffalo wrap with onion rings Cuban could use a bit more sauce, fries were curly like the pigs tail. Wrap was delicious and rings were perfect! Bathrooms clean. Decor is Colorado history without overly dramatic! Keystone is a great place to ski. Haywood's is the only place to eat breakfast or lunch!

This is a must for breakfast/brunch/lunch if you're in Keystone! The bloody Mary's are SO good and you can add a Coors floater. The menu is expansive as well - offering many different options from brunch an assortment of lunch options. We had a great server who was attentive as well. We will definitely be back!

This cafe had such a great breakfast selection! We walked in and were seated right away. Service was fast. I enjoyed my Bloody Mary while my boyfriend loved the house coffee. My rocky man omlet(added mushrooms and spinach) was delightful! I didn't want to share. Home fries were good too! I love the crunchy pieces! They had a breakfast entree called the dog bowl that literally was served in a dog bowl! I didn't try it because we were full but loved the idea! How original! My boyfriend loved his breakfast sandwich. We left the cafe full and satisfied!

This is the perfect place to grab a quick breakfast before starting your day on the slopes. Located walkable from the parking lot and lifts for Keystone. (They do have parking right in front of the restaurant, you can't leave your car there allll day, just loop around the corner to the free mountain parking when you're done. I set up the countertop and was quickly handed a menu and asked if I wanted something to drink. It looked at the venue and was very tempted to order one of their mimosa variations, but opted to stick to water this time. Ordered classic breakfast with grits and sausage and a biscuit as my options. my food came out pretty quick and I could tell they were making everything to order. Eggs and sausage were solid, the grits were decent and came with cheese on top. For the speed and price you can't beat a good breakfast deal like this. This is a, solid classic breakfast that's fast so you get her first tracks on the mountain. I would definitely come back here to eat next time I come out to ski Keystone. Highly recommend!

We are in Keystone for a ski weekend and Haywood Cafe was recommended to us for a hearty breakfast, by a local. It's a must stop for us when we come back !! Breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed a massive chicken fried steak, classic eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito, and classic breakfast, everything is delicious and very robust portion.,, ANd you can order breakfast or lunch all day... It's a cozy environment, get there early because there aren't a lot of tables, but super clean. Our server was attentive and took care of us nicely ... and our food came out really quick .. we would definitely stop here again

My corned beef hash was delicious. I enjoyed my cheesy grits too. I would return in a heart beat. Service was snappy and pleasant. We sat outside to admire the view and relish the cooler temps.

Great local spot that has been here for years. The food had always been on point. The staff are super attentive and friendly. The prices are great, especially for portion sizes. Plenty of parking, good amount of seating and super clean.

Entreès can be shared, easily by two or more people.I ordered the Homemade Corn Beef Hash with 2 eggs over easy and whole wheat toast. Because I was feel risky, I also ordered a side of the green chili and a side of just the gravy from biscuits of gravy. The gravy and chili are absolutely deeelish! Order any dish in which these come with, you won't be disappointed. Ambiance is like you're entering a family cabin in the woods. Such a cool place that serves huge portions of great, tasting food.

Good spot for brunch though the wait is a bit long. The biscuits were good but does not remind me mech of the South. They have an open kitchen concept so you'll certainly smell like food on the way out.

Comfort food for either curing a night of mountain living fun, or an early morning of climbing a 13er. We cracked up when we saw the same waiter waiting on us as our server last night at the nearby Mexican restaurant. Guess staff work multiple jobs here! The Turkey bacon melt with Curly fries, Swiss baked bread with a cup of grits, and the Cobb salad all screamed comfort food. They tasted just so. These three dishes pretty much represented breakfast, brunch, and lunch (am aware of the redudancy, lol, but just to emphasize.)

We had the best service from our waitress, Amy. She told us that this cafe is known for their Benedicts and she was right. The Swiss bakes eggs was delicious. It's French bread with cream cheese, Swiss cheese, ham, and their famous poached eggs. Amy made sure our coffee never got cold. She was attentive and friendly. read more

We're locals in Summit County and with a limited selection of restaurants which can get old after a while, The Haywood is always consistently delicious and friendly. The staff recognizes our son on each visit, makes him feel special, and of course he loves the food and all the sports channels available. I was compelled to write this review after we enjoyed dinner this past Tuesday. Wife had the Wingie Dingies-her favorite, and I tried the Blackened Tuna sandwich. AWESOME! It was a generous sized meal, of which we enjoyed leftovers for Wednesday's lunch. Great job Haywood! My vote for best food and bar in Keystone! read more

I have been visiting the Haywood Cafe for over 6 years now and this place is by far the best sports bar in the mountains. They have a great happy hour lineup and the service has always been nothing but excellent. they also have the BEST breakfast in Keystone. and don't leave Summit County without trying one of their bacon bloody marys!, they are AMAZING!!! Good unassuming sports bar that has great breakfast believe it or not. I have heard it is the place to catch all the football games in the Fall and the setup looked good. As for breakfast, the bennies are solid and for a good price too, especially for a tourist area. We eat with 2 locals that told us about this place and mentioned they eat here often so I feel confident saying this is a go to spot for breakfast in Keystone. read more

Fantastic! We went for breakfast.... My baguette with garlic cream cheese and eggs was phenomenonal! My hubs had the dog bowl.... If you want Mexican for breakfast, that's the way to go! The waitress was great, chatty, funny and quick.. She told us all about the area. Highly recommended! read more

This was the first place we came to eat once we arrived in Keystone. Very good food and very nice people! I had the pancakes which we're huge! Live in Denver, visiting Breck and staying on a friend's boat so we have no food supplies. This place has amazing staff. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended. They will take care of you and make you feel awesome. Getting breakfast to go back to the boat for 6 people lol. read more

My only complaint is that I am leaving tomorrow and can't get my usual cup of iced coffee from this great place. The food is really good, too. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Has a good local vibe despite being at the entrance to Keystone. Make this one of your regular spots if you can. read more

First off I have to say our waitress Natalie was amazing! We had a very large group of people and she did a fantastic job. The meal that we had was amazing! However in this place if you've got a large group of people don't bother coming, they had a very difficult time accommodating everyone even though we got there early and there was plenty room. We had a small portion of our group that came a little bit later and they had to give away one of our tables. They weren't rude about it but it was borderline. Also on their website it says call ahead to accommodate large groups. However when you call them up to do that they said "I know it says that on our website but we don't do that." Seriously? If you know that's a problem then fix it. read more

This is an amazing spot for your family if you are out skiing or if you need a quick bite of breakfast! One downside is that due to COVID they have minimized there seating arrangement. All in all I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone who is looking to get some amazing breakfast. read more

Warm lots of space. Yummy food and great coffee. I ordered the omelette it hit the spot. Service was fast our server made sure I had enough coffee and since we had a sleeping baby in a car seat they seated us in a perfect spot. Will return soon read more

We stopped in for lunch on Sunday on our last day of a snowboarding trip. Rico was really pleasant and friendly when seating us. Justin our server was very genuine, very kind and warm and gave us wonderful recommendations and excellent service. My family was in Keystone for 3 days and we ate breakfast here twice! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is cute and clean. The corned beef hash is some of the best that I have ever had and the cheddar and elk sausage is amazing. My husband got the 'dog bowl' and loved it! Friendly wait staff. Great bacon. Delicious food. Atmosphere= old style ski bar. Sports on all tvs. Sort of a diner style atmosphere with a bar. Never seen it too crowded not had to wait too long for a seat. Parking is right out front--- really want to try the buffalo chili, but only been here for breakfast. Mushy burrito- tasteless meat - left a lot to be desired. read more

Excellent service & food. Great place to take my family for Breakfast in Keystone. The Corned beef & Hash was everything I wanted it to be. My wife loved her Gyro Benedict. The Bloody Mary was advertised as amazing but I found it to be below average (frozen olive+"bacon candy" was just cold bacon). I was tossing between 4 and 5 stars, but what made me go with 5 was the perfectly cooked eggs on my Veggie Eggs Benedict. The service was very friendly and everyone had a smile. The cheesy grits were very cheesy but i didn't mind it because I'm about to go on a hike. I definitely will come back to this place if I'm ever back in this area! Thanks !! read more

In keystone for the weekend, was looking for a good breakfast place. Understanding the COVID circumstances we were totally fine with ordering pick up. We had 6 meals with few modifications. Good breakfast. A bit pricey but it is in a resort area. Wish they would put butter on the toast and on pancakes/frenchtoast. The manager Chad is very nice friendly and welcoming. plenty of tvs to watch what ever you want. Open during offseason. read more

Went to Haywood Cafe for breakfast this morning - DELICIOUS! Great food and great service! I had a Greek omelet which was delicious and my daughter had the French Toast which I had to try and was equally as good. Not sure where to start, so maybe a list is a good place: Really friendly waitstaff Good coffee Good pancakes Creamy grits that don't taste instant The best over medium eggs I've ever had. Not kidding. Was such a great treat to find this place by accident while searching for "breakfast" within a distance I knew I could bike to. Went back the next time on purpose. Nice that you can watch your bike while eating, too :) Will definitely be back at the Haywood any time we're up in the high country. SO GOOD! read more

No hash browns. None at all. Terrible country fried steak. It's not homemade. They just take it out of the Cisco food-service bag in the freezer and drop it in the fryer. The quality is like eating breakfast at some public school in an inner city. I live right next door but drive 30 minutes round trip to go to another place in Dillon across from the office supply place. read more

This place missed every single mark. Our food took almost an hour to come out and parts of it was cold. Hubbys pancake was hard (not crispy hard, like heat lamp hard) and one of the items on my plate was a completely cold, unbuttered English muffin. The eggs were cooked wrong (I ordered over medium and they were barely over easy with tons of runny white still and hubby ordered hard scrambled and they were scrambled and runny still), and our waiter stopped in to fill water cups once but did not check in or ask how we were while we were waiting. I'm typically pretty easy going -- I understand mistakes are made sometimes. That is easily redeemable if the service is good; but the service was not. Our server made it seem like we were an inconvenience. 1026 - we got the text our table was ready. We requested a booth (and mentioned we would wait longer got a booth) but got a table. Okay fine, it happens 1038 - we finally had a server ask if we want something to drink. We ordered drinks and it was at least 10 more minutes before they came to take our order. Our order was submitted and it was nearly 45 minutes for the (cold) food to come out. During the wait we were not checked on at all. No one asked us if we were good or needed anything-- or let us know the food was delayed. When the food finally came (again, cold) it was dropped at the table and it was another 15 mins before our server even acknowledged us again. The lady who helped him drop the food was nicer than he was, and asked if we needed anything else; while he couldn't be bothered. We are walking out now at 1140. Our server checked on us a total of 3 times and got rude when his tip was reduced for that. Important to note -- the table behind us had walked in as our food was being served and they got their entire order (6 people) before we left. I didn't mind that the service was a little slow since they were getting slammed on a beautiful Saturday morning so I knew it would take a little while to get seated, order, and get food. It's a pretty cool restaurant with memorabilia on the walls and nicely furnished. I ordered the breakfast burrito grande that has eggs, black beans onions, green peppers and mushrooms and I chose to top it with vegetarian green chili. The dish came with potatoes on the side. I also ordered a single pancake on the side was a nice addition and i was completely full for the rest of the day. I can't wait to return to Butterhorn in the ski season next year.

Food came out fast and service is great but that's probably it. I had the breakfast burrito and while nothing to rave about, it filled me up. The sausage patty was a little undone, and the bottom half of the burrito ended up a soggy mess. It was still a 3 out of 5 since I left full. The cinnamon roll I would avoid. It came out as a roll with icing..barely any cinnamon sugar in-between each layer. As my friend said while leaving this cafe, "it was the worst cinnamon roll of my life." I actually expected better browsing through their case of freshly baked goods, since the muffins and other offerings looked good. Maybe a little bit more of TLC with their burritos, but if you don't really mind about quality or good food, then I would pass. It seems to be a place that just uses majority Sysco/US Food products.

Wmall sandwich that fell apart quickly. Still nothing special on the flavor. I could see this place being a great grab and go especially if you have picky kids for breakfast as they have lots of options, however if you are expecting something mind blowing... look elsewhere

LOVE the coffee drinks here! I had both the White Chocolate Mocha and the Samoa Latte and both were excellent, though just be prepared for a wait to get them as there is typically just one person making all of the handcrafted (to steal a phrase from Starbucks) drinks at a time. One of the visits the barista seemed more worried that his hair was looking enough like Justin Bieber's and less focused on the coffee, not sure that I loved him grooming himself and then going right back to preparing the drinks without a hand washing in-between... I also had the breakfast sandwich with ham on a croissant and while good, it could have been a bit better, especially if a higher quality croissant was used; such as those sold at Costco. The menu did not provide any details on the bread so I can't speak to its origins. The cinnamon roll was a big disappointment; while it looked good, it was not heated evenly and was really lacking in frosting, I should have gone with a muffin instead. The line can get long very quickly, so take that into consideration before ordering; if you're in a hurry and there's anyone in front of you, it will be a bit of a wait. But staff are very friendly, especially Chris!

They had a Deli right next to the café for people who wanted to get quick snacks and takeout food. The café has a great outdoor seating with amazing view of the water and mountains. But that was about the only good thing that I could find... I ordered Bison Burger with fries. Simple enough order, I thought, but it took a long time for the food to come out. When it did finally arrive, I was a bit surprised... It was much smaller than I expected it to be, and only had patty, cheese, and some kind of fried onions. For $17, this is it? I looked at the menu again, and it says it comes with tobacco red onions, pepper jack, smoked garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, and onion. But mine had no aioli, no lettuce, tomato, onion. My server was no where to be found, and no one came to check on me until I was almost done with it, so I just ate it without them. So sad...and the burger was nothing special. Fries had a nice amount of seasoning, but felt a bit dry. My server was not very attentive, had to wait a long time before I could find him to get a check. He never came out so I had to go into the restaurant to find him. When I did finally find him asked for my check, he came back with $60 bill. When I realized it, I had to go look for him AGAIN everywhere so that it can be corrected. What a horrible place with bad food, no service, and even try to rip you off if you are not careful.

On two occasions, my husband had a guy's party at Keystone and they walked into the restaurant. No one greeted them. They waited for quite some time and gave up and left. So hey Owner, if you're reading this, your staff is not welcoming and also makes you feel like you are inconveniencing them asking for them to wait on you. There are a lot of restaurants in Keystone and my suggestion is to avoid this one.
