I was on a road trip passing through Silverthorne and craving a breakfast burrito. I called Enza's 15 minutes out and placed my order and it was ready shortly after arriving. They have quite a large menu, in addition to a great selection of Italian items in their market. I ordered the breakfast burrito with ham and sausage. This is a cute Italian market and food service is quick. They have a few fridges stocked with good beverages, racks with dried goods. This is our favorite place to come and eat lunch. The creek view is amazing. Today, we had a situation where a new person made our Rueben. It was not the Rueben we typically ordered. My partner ordered a sandwich that had 2 slices of meat and slim pickings of toppings, only 8", no sides and was charged for the pickle. Go to Cheeba Hut for a sandwich worth it, and you'll still probably save $5 on the price for a 12". Also, guy at register with ponytail was coughing everywhere and sipping tea, clearly sick. None of the 6 people behind the counter standing around couldn't walk our food out to the outdoor area. Just called my name 5 times until I heard it. I called ahead and ordered our sandwiches since we were trying to make it a very quick stop, and they were super helpful over the phone (I didn't find their online ordering to be super detailed, which was hard for the kid orders). The only bummer was they were out of Brie for my sandwich and they didn't mention that until I looked at the sandwich myself, and asked them to add a different cheese on it. Another bonus of this spot: If you need a quick dinner meal on a travel day, they have a lot of pre-made dinner meals too (frozen) that you could easily grab which you're at lunch, and save yourself cooking on a long day! read more

I'm from Houston, we have Mexican food everywhere so I noticed that burritos were a big thing in Colorado "it's a very unMexican thing" so I was highly skeptical, either way my son was hungry for Mexican food so we walked over the beautiful blue river and made our way to Enza's, we had spinach croissants, ham and Swiss croissants and my son got a bacon egg and cheese burrito that totally made us believers lol, the customer service was very good, very friendly. The place is so unique and comfy and you just can't beat the ambience as it's right next to Blue River. We sat outside on a bench people watching and listening to the gentle babbling of the river. Food was delicious! My husband and I both got flatbreads, he got gluten free bread. It was actually really good, my husband says he wouldn't have known it was gluten free based on taste and texture. Wish more places in Colorado served sandwiches like this! Got a few desserts for the road. I thought the cannoli was great (and I have high expectations for them, not gonna lie). The carrot cake left more to be desired, so I'd pass on that one next time. I'd say there is some room for improvement in expediting the food. They ask your name but give you any buzzers or table numbers. Some tables got their food delivered and many of us had to wait by kitchen to get it. A few people who ordered after me got their food before me. Stopped by here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered coffee. This is a cute location with easy access to a beautiful walking trail along the Blue River. My husband voted his vanilla latte the best he had during our trip to Breck/Dillon/Silverthorne area. The apple cider was amazing and their cannolis are delicious as well. I basically walked around and snapped some pictures. She said the quality was well above average on both items. The muffin was huge and made a few meals out of it actually. The place is pricey but from what I saw it was worth it. It's simple cute and I wanted to try the Italian beef, but went to another place in Breck (I'm from Chicago. This was our second visit to Enza's Deli & Market. While we aren't local to the Silverthorne area, my wife and I find this a great place to stop off for a reasonably healthy lunch after a morning hike before heading back into the city. On this trip I had a Colorado Club - classic sandwich of turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado on bread. The ingredients all tasty and fresh. With chips and a beverage, just enough to fill you without going overboard. The prices are not bad at all for a mountain town, especially for what you're getting. The deli can get busy but the staff get orders in and out quite fast. We haven't dined inside because we usually have our pup with us, but they have a nice set up outside both out front and a couple of picnic style tables on the side near the creek. This place has good food! I went with the Wholly Moley and loved it! My husband had the half Colorado Club with a cool of Italian wedding soup and enjoyed that also. Ordering is a little interesting. I tipped based on being told the food would be brought to us, but ended up having to go get it myself, so that was kind of annoying. There's outside seating with picnic tables or two tables on the covered porch out front, or a nearby area to have a little picnic. They have bakery offerings, including cinnamon rolls and muffins; they have canned soda and chips; definitely worth a stop in! read more

We have visited Enza's several times and the more we go, the less we will continue going. It seems recently that they have switched out the bread on their sandwiches for a tiny hamburger bun and charge you $16+ a sandwich. They are skimpy on portions for what you pay. What we didn't appreciate was the cashier asking if we wanted avocado or a pickle, etc without informing they are extra charges. We caught it but he was sneaky, also trying to "up" another egg to one of the dishes for a fee. We may stop in for some baked goods from time to time but it's not worth what you pay for. read more
