Some work he just didn't do. The stuff he did, not one single job was done right. Everything either had to come back, or blew up and got stuck so far away at the cost of repair for bringing the vehicle back forced us to have to sell the vehicle. And folks, don't be fooled. Is he going to do shoddy work...and/or charge you for work that he just doesn't do... ... When you call him on it, you're not getting a refund. I've been around a long time, and I've worked with a lot of mechanics, this is the first one that I have ever run across that will not refund your money after the thing he worked on blows up! This cat rebuild my transmission, charged me $1,200. It went 9000 miles and literally blew up. On a previous occasion I caught him charging me $900 for work he just didn't do. So right there is $2,100 that I paid him for nothing! Now, if I count the customers he cost me, and the damage his shoddy work did to my business, the amount of money he actually owes me as a lot higher. But here I'm just talkin about the stuff I can show on paper. I'm having to sue him for that. now, yes it's going to be sweet to see his face when he realizes he's got to pay all my legal fees over it. But, honestly, who in the hell wants to go through all that? I just wanted my cars fixed. and yes, he was my fleet mechanic and these were business vehicles. My business was transporting people. I've got people on the open highway and one of Chris's repairs blows up in my face, those customers don't come back. That has happened four times. I mean, if you want to give Christian for money, you may as well just said fire to it. You're not going to have anything of value for what you spent. Your cars are going to be in worse shape when you get them back. and when you try to get him to be honest about it, he's going to flip you the bird and he's not going to refund your money. So you do what you want. but someone who's already been burned is trying to tell you, he's not the nice Little pothead he seems to be. He's a guy in over his head, who does shoddy work, and then can't be honest enough to refund your money because his business is not financially stable. Basically, I lost my business so Chris could keep his. That's the actual trade you make when you do business with Chris kempka.

Sitting in a bus station in Richmond. What an ordeal! Right to the end, after I entered my credit…read morecard information for my bus reservation, it popped up saying "so, we already took your money when you typed it in, but we put you on a bus tomorrow." Made friends with a very cool bus driver, who let me ride on his bus with the wrong ticket to Richmond. Tried to schmooze The ticket agents in Baltimore, DC, and Richmond into changing my ticket. The guy in Richmond finally did it, so at least I know I'm going home today now. I'm telling you, Chris Kempka, C4 AUTOMOTIVE. Y'all have heard me raise hell about that guy before. My business spent absolute shitloads of money using him as the mechanic, and every single thing he ever touched turned to shit. I have never met any human being, in my 50 years, calling himself a professional who is so damned incompetent. The transmission that blew out in Baltimore, is his work again. I JUST PAID HIM $1,200 TO REBUILD IT. Now I'm sitting at a f**king bus station, My van's at a transmission shop in Baltimore, and I'm pretty sure they're going to give me a number on Monday that's just going to make me go ahead and sell the van. AVOID CHRIS KEMPKA AT C4 AUTOMOTIVE AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT! It very well may. If you had seen the area of Baltimore where my shit died, because of Chris, you'd know I'm not exaggerating. Thanks be to God for the US Navy. If it wasn't for my navy buddy who lives in Baltimore, I'd still be there!

Within minutes of listening to our vehicle, they were able to diagnose the problem which the dealership could not. You won't find a more humble or kind set of people running a shop, and the pups are an added bonus. Truly look no further if you're looking for a shop for your jeep. They are fair, honest, and hard working. We will keep going back to them for as long as we own a Jeep - which will probably be forever.

Let me give you some understanding with thier level of honestly!…read more So I took my 2006 Lexus GX470 to Greensboro Toyota just to see what a timing belt and waterpump would cost me to have replaced for the 100k service. Greensboro Toyota quoted me $2,700 for the timing belt and waterpump replacement and then also tacked on wheel bearings at $3,200 bringing my cost up to $5,900. Now I've worked on 4th 4Runners before and I've replaced my timing belt on my previous 4Runner, I know from experience it's not that expensive nor do you need wheel bearings for a 100k mile service. I chose to not replace this on my own this time because I hate working on my own vehicles. So I took my truck to J Medic and the cost alone for the timing belt and water pump kit was rought $1,400 give or take a few dollars and they looked over my wheel bearings and told me that they don't need replacing. They had the parts, and I told them they needed to be replaced because Toyota said so and they could have gone out of their way to replace the parts, and charge for service hours but didn't. I don't know of many mechanic shops that would say hey this is perfect based on information you present to them. Now I don't know about you, but any mechanic that is "Brutally Honest" with you is the mechanic I want to go to. Pat and the boys over at J Medic will take care of you in the most honest way. You want good serivce got to J Medic, if you want to be treated like family, and spend your honest dollar go to J Medic. If you just want to waste your money go anywhere else that isn't J Medic. - Nathan C.
