I was very specific with request for a luxury car (that didn't smell like smoke) comparable to our car needing repair for rental but we were greeted with a small RAV4? Sized car. I refused the vehicle and then started looking for a car myself. It takes a few days to line up a luxury rental so work had to be delayed. I called State Farm & told them we needed to find a suitable vehicle and they were accommodating with increasing coverage if necessary. We found a suitable model in Asheboro and Enterprise brought it to the local office but it smelled like freshly smoked marijuana. So no go with that vehicle. I was ambushed when I asked to meet with the owner Brian Owens. He couldn't maintain eye contact when we met so I suspected he was upset. He was totally focused on our '24 Genesis not being a luxury vehicle..saying BMW, AUDI, Mercedes, Lexus were not in the same class. And it was a "Hyundai". Same price ranges and similar performance but somehow not the same class. Insulting. The new owner Brian Owens is insulting and doesn't take responsibility for what his business represents as services provided. His phone script (that he says he wrote) states that they work with your insurance company to set up car rentals to make it easy for customers to use their service. He did not handle the situation professionally. I even asked that we discuss in an office or away from the front desk but he insisted on being loud and confrontational in front of his front desk staff. Not a nice guy. After our encounter I called the front desk and apologized for our discussion that had to happen in front of them. I doubt this is the culture previous owner Larry Walker wants as a legacy and I feel badly for the staff who work in Brian's toxicity.

Location: Building is off of reynolda road. Easy to see. Good signage. Be careful when exiting. Drivers tend to use this part of reynolda as a speedway lol Customer service: Dave is extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything cars and the way they run. I have also heard him guide business to others when it's not his specialty (body care etc.) which I respect. He has a great mechanic named Mike on his team there and between the two of them I know I am safe when I drive out. Oil changes are never more than 30-45 min. and other services like brake pads etc. have always taken alot less time than expected. There have been several times they recommend a service in a certain amount of miles and would never put pressure on it being done immediately unless it absolutely needed it. I'm greatful to God for bringing me to this location and getting my car fixed. While it did take a week to get my car back, it was worth the wait and when I inquired about military discount to help me pay for the hefty bill I knew was coming, Wes didn't hesitate to do everything in his ability to give me the best pricing and even doing things for a massively reduced fee. Big nope. Dropped off my car July Monday 27th of 2026. A couple days later I get a phone call…read moresaying I need a new evaporator core. 1700 and some change for labor and new part. I waited patiently excited to get my AC working. Saturday, 1 August After my grandfather came in and paid my bill. I picked up the car and immediately when I got onto the road I could hear air coming through the door. I also thought the dash appeared dirty, but during a closer look, I could tell that it was damaged. There was also an oil stains left on my roof liner and two bolts laying on the floorboard. I waited for my dad to get home so he could evaluate the damage for himself. During that time. 7 PM on the same day I picked up the car, It started raining and the rain came through the door that I could hear the air coming through earlier. I immediately had to go home and put a tarp over my car. I also noticed a Carfax folder that I got when I first purchased the vehicle was not in my car. I searched high and low throughout my house and came to the assumption that this folder was most likely taken out of my car and not put back. Now before I dropped off my car on Monday the 27th. I had already been dealing with trying to get the AC working for the past week and a half doing a recharge checking for leaks and replacing a sensor, this AC getting repaired, was for my travel across the United States to California, which is why I had only asked them to fix the door on Monday 3 August and didn't bring up the damage to the inside of the car nor did I bring up the incident with the folder. I just wanted my door fixed so I could leave. I came in at 8 AM Monday August 3rd to tell them I believed the door was not aligned correctly. An older gentleman who open the shop seem to acknowledge my problem and want to fix it. However, the employee I gave the information to seemed frustrated. I assumed I wouldn't need an appointment since it seemed like it was just a quick fix on work I had already paid for, but my car wasn't finished until Wednesday 5 August 3:25pm after my dad went to their shop and they aligned it then and there for me. Which makes it seem as if they could've done it the whole time, but chose not to. The same day I picked it up Wednesday the fifth. I came home and washed the car in the evening time. That's where I noticed large scratches on the back of my trunk. I also noticed a large scratch on my driver door. The office workers made it clear to both me and my grandfather that they had to take my doors off to work on my car. I am moving to California, actually leaving Thursday the 6 August, the day after I wrote this review. And I am planning on purchasing a new car in the upcoming months, which is why I chose not to confront the shop about this, but I 110% will back my claims. My car is fully insured and I'm more than able to write a new claim. But I feel like that would be too much of a hassle to do, especially when I'm already behind schedule I'm leaving. So I would advise any person that's looking for an auto mechanic shop and are reading these reviews. Take pictures of every inch of your car inside and out. Do not leave the auto mechanic shop until you have fully looked at your car. Where are all the five star reviews come from? I'm not too sure exactly but I'm sure I'm not the only person who had these problems. If someone does run into this problem and does take it the next step and has to take legal action I'm not sure if I would be of any help, but all my photos are dated and timed. And I'd be more than happy to testify in your hearing. It keeps saying to retry when I try posting photos. But the damage to my vehicle is there. So much so the shop knows exactly who I am.
