First timers here, brought in by the good reviews. Came by for a late(ish) breakfast on a Sunday. Their small lot was full but we found easy street parking. Service was good but not flawless. Seems they only had one waitress working our side of the room. The coffee service was quick. Ordered the cinnamon roll everyone raves about. Got the "boy" version with nuts. We ordered the #2 combo and the breakfast sandwich. Like others have said, the food was not only super good but the portions are huge. Giant pancakes, ultra thick bacon, sizable toast, etc. All very very good. At first the prices seemed high but I was wrong. Totally worth it and we'll certainly be back. Five stars for Hazels.

Food that is fun and huge! Great.menu selection and super fun atmosphere! This is a good to even for.a drive of over and hour. They even do reservations....tea time as well...we loved our server Olga...do yourself a favor and check it out.

Stopped at Hazel's , on Sunday, November 10th on our way home from Lake Geneva. So glad we did!! It's good, it's very good, it's very very good!! It's a cute little place, a little tight, but comfortably cozy. Our server, Olga is the epitome of hospitality! So pleasant, with an awesome smile and personality. We had the breakfast burrito, which is as big as my head, and the combo #2, with sausage and pancakes. We also got a cinnamon roll and "Twix " cookie to go. EVERYTHING was delicious. I would highly recommend breakfast at Hazel's and any of their bakery delights! Would definitely return if we are ever traveling through again.

Hazel's is a hidden gem! You're not going there for the ambience, remember, it's a diner so it's pretty basic. You're going to this restaurant for their good food and service. Olga was our server and was delightful. She took great care of us. First, the fresh baked cinnamon rolls are insanely delicious and huge!! We got the girl roll because I don't eat nuts. The boy cinnamon roll comes with pecans (nuts, get it?) We ate about 1/4 of the big girl and brought the rest home. The cinnamon roll was ooey gooey goodness, packed with cinnamon, and that icing was to die for. I had two eggs over easy with bacon, potatoes and toast. My husband had the corned beef hash with the brisket made in house. Again, huge portions. Everything was delish! All the bread offered on the menu is made in house as well as the jams, and the slice of white toast I had was amazing. On the way out, we grabbed a loaf of just-baked bread for us because just one slice at breakfast was not going to be good enough for us. We also grabbed a boy cinnamon roll for my 94yo mom because she loves cinnamon rolls and I knew she never had one like this. All the years I've driven through Hebron on the way to Lake Geneva, and never stopped or noticed Hazel's. Now it's on my radar, and I'll definitely be going back for the bakery and the good food. If nothing else, stop here to buy their cinnamon rolls. Worth every penny of the $8 for the roll.

They have a high tea on Thursdays. I would highly recommend it. There were six of us. We each had our own 3 tier tray of tea sandwiches and scones. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Nice variety of teas to choose from. My only suggestion would be to have linen clothes on tables with linen napkins to make it more elegant. I will bring others to come.

Grilled chicken lunch special

I was driving through town for work and I'm really glad I stumbled upon this gem! I had their lunch special, which was grilled chicken on top of a broccoli cheddar sauce and rice along with a side salad all for just $12! I picked up a couple of their desserts and I'm definitely looking forward to eating them later! Olga was very welcoming & helpful

This small hole in the wall has the best breakfast ever and it's all from scratch. No box stuff here. Large portions too. Bring your appetite!!!!

Randomly antiquing in the area, and discovered this gem! Service was excellent, and portions were huge! Seriously-- the good is served on platters, not plates! Everything was delicious, including the blackberry lemon cookie we brought home. Sooo good and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be making a special trip back out to Hebron again to support this business.

My coworker told me about this place and I figured I check it out since it's our wedding anniversary coming up. This place is amazing, service is great and staff and guests are super friendly. We love it.

Slowest service I have ever had. Food was meh. Ordered egg sandwich but it was lost inside two giant pieces of bread.

Having just located to the area we were looking for a nice, relaxing dinner spot. We had driven…read morepast Crandall's multiple times on our way to Lake Geneva. After looking for some Gluten-Free options Crandall's was listed as an option, plus I love chicken and the boast on their sign "World Famous Broasted Chicken", off to Crandall's we went. We arrived at an odd time in the middle of the afternoon so it was easy parking and no wait to be seated. I already knew I wanted the Chicken, but my lady is Gluten-Free... this is where we ran into an issue. On the Menu there is a Gluten-Free section with only one option, coconut shrimp. Which may be fantastic by my lady doesn't enjoy shrimp. However the waitress was understanding and made some other suggestions on what she can get and what they can substitute to make it Gluten Free. She went above and beyond to accommodate my lady. I did order the chicken, because I'm not Gluten Free and I wanted Chicken. Both meals were fantastic. I loved the Chicken, and it is definitely the best that I've had since moving to the area. My only issue is that it only comes in All you can Eat, but I didn't need that much chicken. In fact I didn't eat all the chicken that came with my first order. The waitress advised that if you get there earlier in the day they do have a two-piece lunch special, but later in the day the only option is all you can eat. We were so full after our meal we weren't able to try any of the pies they had on display. Next time we'll have to try one. Overall Crandall's is a nice little Super Club with good comfort food and a nice rural atmosphere. If you're in the area, its definitely worth checking out.

Serving amounts were tiny and the potatoes were cold. Chicken wings were tiny and over cooked…read more Their wonderful coleslaw was in a mushy paper cup and was probably 1/4 of a cup. So sad to see them go downhill after 50 years of eating their chicken!
