We have been to Fork'd twice in the last month and both times our food was great. We had two 8" pizzas off the Happy Hour menu. Both the Taco Pizza and Mediterranean Pizza tasted great and they were big enough so we each brought some home. Both times we were there the service was friendly and attentive. Lots of light from the south-facing windows that, unfortunately, give you a great view of the parking lot. Seating consists of a mix of booths and high-tops, plus a few tables and bar seating. Service was very attentive and competent, but I just wasn't impressed with the menu offerings. I use Reuben sandwiches as my benchmark for these types of restaurants, and while it was certainly tasty, the bread, grilling and composition are not quite up to my standards (which doesn't mean that I didn't eat the entire sandwich, but I did save half of it for lunch the next day, which is unlike me). Beer offerings are middle-of-the-road, while wine by the glass was sub-par. We would certainly return if friends wanted to meet there, but there are better places in the Twin Cities for American-style food. read more

We came here for Mother's Day expecting the normal dining experience, as there was no clear indication beforehand that the restaurant would be buffet-only. Buffets aren't our preference, and that's specifically why we chose this restaurant. When we asked if we could order from the regular menu, we were told no. Shortly after, the table next to us was allowed to order from the menu. When we asked our server about the inconsistency, we were told they had spoken to the manager. We were very clear we didn't want a buffet and the server never told us that was an option. We wanted to leave before we ate but couldn't find another restaurant that could accommodate us. The most disappointing part was the lack of clear communication and inconsistent treatment. On a special day like Mother's Day, that was really disappointing. I've been excited to try Fork'd for a few months now, and I finally made it in! I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich. It's HUGE! I was shocked by the size. It was super tasty with a great balance of sweet and heat. Definitely a little sticky, but that's to be expected with hot honey. The vibe inside was really fun too. I really enjoyed the hot honey chicken sandwich with its crunchy crust and sticky goodness while my wife liked the thai chicken salad - although it was HUGE and she couldn't finish it. The place is pretty spacious with lots of room between tables. They offer a full bar and have some inventive cocktails and "mocktails" too. Our server was friendly and helpful. I kept driving this new restaurant and finally decided to check it out for dinner. The menu is pretty limited to sandwiches and burgers, but I took that to mean they would be good at those items. I got the Fork'd smash burger, which was good! My husband liked the C.A.B chicken sandwich and my kid enjoyed the chicken tender kids meal. The waffle fries were a big hit with everyone! I'd like to come back for their happy hour sometime and try some cocktails. I believe the HH is 2-5, everyday, which is great! One negative is I think they are a tad over priced. What a fun place. My wife and I have been there 3 times for lunch and looking forward to a fourth. We sit at the bar, as we always do, service was fantastic! Food had a different kick that you would expect that the kitchen has the flavor of the Baccio chef upstairs. If you are a Bloody Mary fan, try the Bloody flight. My personal and spicy favorite is the Green Machine! Try it! Green Bloodies are a home run! Every dish has an interesting twist. The normally boring tuna melt is taken to a next level of flavor. Fork'd is much more casual where they offer great apps, sandwiches, and pizza. If you want more traditional Italian with the classics, head to Bacio. They have a great Happy Hour from 2-5 pm every day where they offer $2 off on wines by the glass and all Tap Beer. They also offer a selection of Specialty Cocktails. We have tried quite a few of the appetizers and pizza. Everything has been very good! We normally sit at the bar and the bartender's are fantastic! Our first time to this new restaurant in MNTKA. Got there on a Friday just before 5p and took advantage of happy hour offerings. The Mule was really a treat and if you like to sit at the bar (we do!) Julia is just the BEST! My wife had a skinny margarita and was what was expected. Julia suggested the Reuben roll app and it had a healthy portion of corn beef! Was very good. They also have a full bar with an array of mixed drinks and both tap & bottled beers. The service was amazing, super friendly and helpful with making meal selections. Our waitress was friendly, checked in on us multiple times, and made us feel very welcomed. Even management check in with us to make sure everything was up to par. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best I've ever had, and the queso tasty as well. The smash burger was legit, so good! As was the patty melt, delicious bread and fried onions. The fish sandwich was top notch, the Sam Adams beer batter was amazing! Huge portions, I couldn't finish all my waffle fries, which tasted even better with the seasoned sour cream. Cool little spot next to the old Joanne fabrics location beside Ridgedale mall. Plenty of parking available. Great vibes inside with plenty of fun energy. Servers were all kind and helpful. Order: Bloody Mary flight. My order of preference: Dill pickle, bacon, green machine, house. Nice to try different varieties. The dill had good flavor but was not garnished with a pickle like my friends but rather an olive which was weird. Bacon version was good but the tiniest bacon garnish. Green machine was different but a good way. The GOAT version was very unremarkable. Reuben sandwich. Had all the components to be good but not great. Parking was right outside the door and plentiful. Th reception staff and our waitress were nice and helpful and even laughed at my joke. The poor acoustics made it possible to hear a cacophony of conversations but we were still able to understand each other. When we visited we had a good time, we were seated fasted and didn't feel rushed at all into ordering we started with the cherry limeades and they were quite tasty so we ordered a few more. I wasn't a fan of the artichoke dip because it was too greasy and overpowered by the cheese and it wasn't very flavorful in my opinion. I liked the mozzarella sticks, and the Cesar salad a lot. Went out here with another couple for dinner. Bright, busy, and a little loud, was my initial response. The menu was a little limited, but every meal, every appetizer, -each and every one- was really, really good! We ordered the Mozzarella Sticks which were literally the best we've ever had (no wonder that dish has gotten so much press lately! ) I asked our server, Bobby, for his opinion on why to order between two salads, and man, was he spot on! Taste is average, portions are very small, and the prices aren't much different than their sister restaurant (Bacio) in the same building, which is a higher end establishment. Service - order at the counter and food is brought to your table. The hostess barely picked up her head from her phone as we walked in. Service and interactions were lackluster at best. Although it was a relatively new establishment, there seem to be a little training in service standards or common customer interactions. Ambiance - good curb appeal, and nice interior furnishings. I just wanted a bacon cheeseburger. It cost me with tip $30. They don't have bbq sauce. Server said they have 2 sauces. I was never told extra sauce is $1.50. The extra charges were ridiculous. My husband and I consider Bacios our neighborhood bar and restaurant, I appreciate what they are trying to do with this new restaurant. Unfortunately, I think it's missing the mark. The ambiance is boring. Please continue the ceiling from the bar into the restaurant. It needs to be more refined. No not, Bacios but attractive. The menu is nothing more than an upgraded fast food menu. Nothing to make you want to come here. We felt there were few choices to order and we ended up just ordering what was some bar food. We had a fun and delicious time at Fork'd Friday night. I had the best Reuben I have ever eaten, and I've had more than my fair share of them!
