If you haven't been to HB Corner Market, it's a must when you're in the area. Anytime I'm near the pier in the morning, this is my go-to breakfast spot. They have a wide variety of great food, but I almost always stop in for the "cranishes." They are the best. If you know, you know. I can't believe I haven't written a review after coming here frequently for the last 3+ years. I LOVE this place, the food is great, the service is amazing and it's the cutest little place where the local HB community meet. Suzanne has created a wonderful following. We ordered two breakfast burritos with bacon, no cheese, an iced mocha, and my husband got the Celsius energy drink! The burritos were super yummy, but I was personally not the biggest fan of the coffee (I'm picky with coffee). This dog friendly coffee spot needs to make your weekend itinerary. A friend recommended HB Corner Market so I added it to the to-do list this weekend. This coffee shop is a short walk from Downtown Huntington Beach. There's parking nearby, but I'd assume most of their customers visit on foot. While there's some outdoor seating, this is more of a grab and go location. There's no seating indoors and I'm not positive if they offer any WiFi. Their coffee menu is simple, but covers all the necessities. They also have a large number of baked goods and healthy lunch plates. I ordered a vanilla latte and a superfood acai bowl to snack on. We arrived close to closing (2pm) so the majority of their baked goods were gone, but I'll be returning to sample this menu! My only suggestion for the biz is to add some fun seasonal bevvies to the menu. While my vanilla latte was good, it was pretty plain and I'd rather try something unique to the coffee shop. read more

This corner shop is amazing ! It's a small space with terrific coffee, delicious pastries and yummy sandwiches. Street parking is ample but I am sure summer time it might be hard being close to the beach. The sit down area has a few tables out front and next door to the establishment - they fill up fast but everyone has been friendly. Very dog friendly. Our daughter loves the hot chocolate (they offer kid friendly temp ) and their chocolate chip cookie. I am an americano and trying to get through their sandwich menu one by one. I was very impressed with this establishment! Cold brew with sugar-free syrup is my go to order . They had high-quality cold brew on tap, which I very much enjoyed. The taste of the service was extremely fast, which was great because I was on my way to work. They did not have a bathroom, but the employee told me where the nearest one was which was helpful. Not only do they sell a variety of drinks , they have grab and go and grocery options. I saw yogurt and a variety of other refrigerated and dry goods. My drink was affordably priced but did not lack on quality. There were decorations, and it felt like a cozy small business built on the foundation of love. This place has gone downhill fast. I used to like it, but now the prices have skyrocketed and the quality has gone down. My sandwich was overcooked and burnt on one side, and it cost $15. I asked for avocado for an extra $4, and they gave me premade guacamole from a plastic tub, straight from Costco. I definitely won't be back. read more

But just know that once you order, your food is ready pretty instantly and it is so worth it! Corner Market as a wide variety of food and drinks to order, and even has a huge grab and go section of food, alcoholic drinks, snacks, kombuchas, etc. They have a lunch menu as well as a family style dinner that you can take out, but my favorite time to go is definitely in the morning for breakfast. My go to here is the breakfast sandwich. However, I like to substitute the croissant for their fresh made breads. If you love breads, baked goods, and pastries, this is definitely the place for you! Not only do they serve savory breakfast, but they have so many baked goods that are prepared fresh daily. I was really excited to come to this place... the girl who served us was sooo rude!!! My older daughters did not want to order because the poor service she given me and watched her roll eyes while I was talking to my little daughters. My dad was a baker so I grew up with the most delicious European breads and pastries. I recognize well baked goodies, and at The Corner Market they bake the best sweet good's I've tasted since I was young. Fresh baked gourmet bread and pastries every morning. The coffee is excellent smooth and strong. I usually get a tuna sandwich on a croissant, but I've also had the avocado toast and that is the bomb. Seriously, so many good flavors They sell wine and super interesting Health drinks like kombucha and healthy energy drinks. The family who owns the corner market might have some Italian in them. From the cold case, you can buy freshly made meals such as spaghetti and meatballs (so I don't eat meat often but I will sometimes eat one of these giant meatballs. I just wish it came with a little extra of that Yummi tomato sauce) there are always a few options of freshly prepared meals in the cold case, that are ready to take home to heat and serve. The service is always superior with happy workers and a cute little patio outside where you can sit and enjoy your meal. This little gem is a home on 11th St downtown Huntington Beach that was converted into a little shop long long time ago. Many people tried opening up a little shop there but they all busted. I think Corner Market has been in business there for at least 8 years and is thriving because they have what it takes to make happy customers. read more

This little bakery continues to be 1 of the best ways to start off my mornings! I treat myself to a croissant or strudel on a Saturday/Sunday and yes the lines sometimes are a little longer than a weekday, or they may be out of something, so I get a chocolate croissant instead of a regular but I don't mind because I know it's going to be yummy! The cashiers (owners son) and young gal are always friendly & professional. Sure sometimes they are a bit curt, but they are taking orders, making coffees, getting the orders ready and cashiering! While there's at least 8-10 people waiting in line. So, be prepared to wait a little, it's worth it, be a little patient, because the lines are out the door but it's a family run place, so be kind because they are trying their best- you won't be disappointed! So first of all this place is amazing if you've lived in the area for a while you would know that it used to be a very run down liquor store that had a chain on the door by 7..... so before you judge the place with your low stars think this place is a true mom and pop!!
