We picked up a maple bar, a strawberries & cream cheese danish, and a ham, cheese & jalapeño croissant -- and everything was so yummy. The maple bar was soft and sweet with just the right amount of glaze. The danish was warmed and rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and the croissant was perfectly soft and flaky with a savory, spicy kick with the jalapeños. Really big too! The retro classic small donut shop vibe adds charm, and you can tell the owners take pride in what they bake. They actually have seating too which is nice and not common! I've been going to Superb Donuts for several years because a friend recommended it to me. My favorite is their chocolate old-fashioned donuts! They have a variety of fresh donuts, but my family likes the simple ones like the chocolate bars and sugar donuts. They only take cash. You can also call ahead to reserve your donuts for pick up another day, which helps because they tend to run out of my favorite chocolate old-fashioned ones! I love supporting this local business. Most expensive donut shop I've ever been to. There are a select few donuts I am a fan of. The cake style donuts are 1.25 while rounds are 1.50. Donut holes are 25 cents per. I've gone to Derelicts and got 4 donuts including a tiger tail for 5 bucks. You're luck if you get 3 for that price here. They also have very limited selection after 9am. I think the donuts are SUPERB. From NY I was doing laundry and took a shot at a Boston crème while waiting. It was the best I ever had. After the laundry was done I went back in and bought a box to take back to the family. I was excited for everyone to try them, they did not let me down. Everyone loved them. I was back the next day. I basically have the same complaint that all the negative reviews have...Terrible customer service. The woman was beyond rude & because this place is cash only, scoffed at my boyfriend for pulling out his card. First off, there isn't a sign that says "Cash Only," so this place needs to work on that. She said to go to an ATM around the corner, which charges $3 to pull money out. My boyfriend got their coffee, which was bad because it wasn't fresh. So basically, this experience was terrible. I hate posting negative reviews, but I do not recommend this place. Whenever I come back to the area, I have to get my Superb coffee and donut fix - loved living 10 seconds away - they are up early serving and weekends its good to just cruise in whenever and get some sugar to wake me up while slowing my bloodflow. So this is how bad this place is, I actually installed Yelp to give a bad review. This is my story... When I walked into this place, I immediately looked for a sign saying "cash only" while i waited in line for at least 10 minutes. There was three different places with "no shoes no service" and "no pets" signs, but no "cash only" sign, so I continue to stand in line. When I got to the counter I asked for a $1 donut and gave her my card. The lady literally rolled her eyes at me and said cash only. I said, "Oh, but there's no sign anywhere." With a short tone she told me there's an ATM around the corner, and immediately looked at the customer behind me with not even a goodbye. Rude! However, I wanted a Donut so I went to the ATM around the corner, there the ATM wanted me to spend $3 for a transaction to get money out. So in others word, this place literally wanted me to spend $4 on a $1 donut because they are too cheap to get a credit card machine for themselves. Wow! A Chinese owned donut shop in Downtown HB..... I was a little surprised at first. But we keep coming back because the donuts are GREAT and because we live just a few blocks away. Glazed, old fashioned, chocolate covered, sprinkles, twisties. They also have good cinnamon rolls and muffins. Really cool place with friendly service. read more

As a local I've been here my fair share of times. Donuts are average here nothing special no sign that says cash only so after you wait in line they will tell you to go to the ATM around the corner which is 3 dollars to pull out money. The ladies are very short if you come in at later times they will have no selection after 10 am. Superb Donuts is my local donut shop when I'm in town. The location is a little out of the way from main street - but it seems to have a good following. The shop employees are always friendly, the donuts are tasty and the prices are reasonable. If you grab coffee from there - be sure to check the milk before pouring. I came in around 10 or 11 am and the milk smelled like it had been sitting on the counter for awhile. read more
