I went for a 60 hour foot massage and ended extending it to 90 mins. It was so nice if I were rich I'd go back again.

What took me so long to get here?…read more I think what deterred me most were the multiple over enthusiastic reviews. If you check some of the 40+ reviews you'll get a sense of why I was hesitant. Honestly, I was just searching for a review I think I could trust. Not to say that the writers experiences were not accurate, but one never knows until they've experienced things for themselves. With that, despite my skepticism I forged ahead. When I walked in at first I was put off, as this is in no way a Dobbs Ferry high end spa, but desperation has its motivation. Arrived mid-morning without an appointment. This was risky as other patrons were already there, though luckily space was still available. My massage area, not a separate room, had enough privacy where I felt comfortable. During my session, realization kicked in noting that bells and whistles were not needed nor were they missed. My masseuse, Amy did the necessary and got to work getting those kinks out of my back. The full body massage that followed from head to toe, with a bit of stretching was an added bonus. To say I walked out happy with my massage experience, justifies a return back to this no frills spot. TIPS: Appointments encouraged 1 hour service = Free Hot Stone Clean Bathroom Spa music Quiet enough Low lighting

Before going in for the service, I reiterated this and I was very clear that I did not want any kind of Thai massage or bodyweight massage. Immediately this person's entire body weight was on me . I began to feel pain and alerted this person, but eventually had to stop the massage because the pain was too great. I ended up leaving 10 minutes in. I have had many deep tissue massages in my life, and I have never experienced this kind of pain. An hour or later, and I can't even move my shoulder. In addition to this, About two minutes into my massage I hear the door open and somebody walked into the room while I was on the table, which was very unnerving and made me feel very unsafe. I was laying there mostly Naked, already not being heard about the type of massage I want only to realize that somebody entered the room and I couldn't see who it was. I do not recommend this establishment. UPDATE: Siya was very responsive to my concerns and very open to finding a solution. They refunded my money and offered a complimentary service. I appreciate their understanding of the necessity of consent and privacy when undergoing treatment. Rating updated to reflect responsiveness.

This location is very clean and the staff is nice. It was pretty crowded today but i felt so relaxed. I upgraded to the ginger shampoo and the room smelled like ginger, it also felt warm and tingly to the scalp. I even got a light massage and she got the kinks out of my upper back. They blew out my hair, left it a little wet this time but not soaked. I think they need to have 2 of the blue blowers it does a better job on drying hair. Regardless, i enjoyed my experience once again. My hair smells amazing and went from dirty to very clean. I will def be back !

I really wanted to like this place. I'm born and raised in the Bronx. I'm always looking to…read moresupport Bronx businesses. The first time I went I got a 60 minute massage. The massage itself was OK, but the ambience of the place just didn't do it for me. It was extremely noisy and smelled like feet. I was next to the bathroom and I could hear people's conversations in the bathroom and it seemed like the staff were a bit overwhelmed, running back-and-forth dumping water and talking amongst themselves. But Because everyone continued to rave about the place, I decided to give it another chance. This time I asked for a massage on the lower level, hoping that it would reduce the noise of incoming guest, and whatever was going on upstairs the last time I was there . I was wrong! Not only were the guest loud the staff were arguing with each other as well, again the massage was OK. The lower level was a basement that smelled like cats. It's also where the head spas are so at one point there was a lot of conversation around blow drying, and then the noise of the blow dryer as well. I left feeling more tense than when I came in. I was hoping to find an affordable place in the Bronx where I live versus always going to the city however, this just did not do it for me. If atmosphere/ ambience is not a big concern for you then give it a try otherwise it's a pass for me.
