This was our second time engaging with this company, and again - not disappointed. Great Service from start to finish. We asked for someone (using their website) to come to our home and discuss our needs, because the audio/visual tech-world has changed so much even just recently. Douglas arrived in our scheduled window, and saw what we had (an old 2006 setup) and what we were asking for. We discussed how we watch and use our media, and he made some excellent suggestions that incorporated a full range of costs and sizes. We ended up going a little bigger than we thought we would, but Douglas assured us that it would fit and we wouldn't be disappointed. So we placed the order... A short time passed before Cesar and Mateo were scheduled, and again - right on time. They made all of the necessary changes to accommodate our new set up, and went over all of the options that we would need to know. Okay, that was a lot to take in, but we remembered enough to enjoy our new media set up. A few days later, we explored some new options, and really brought it up to what we were looking for. Between the TV and the AVR there are a LOT of options. Douglas stayed in contact with us from set up, until a few days later. Asking us if we needed more support, or were we okay with what we had. We shared how excited we were, and told him we would call if we had more questions - which we have not. But, it was (and is) nice to know that HD Hookups is ready to come back and support us if needed. These guys did an excellent job (again). I would give these guys 10 stars. Didn't know what to expect because I've always mounted my own televisions. But this time the tv was a bit too big for me to do myself and after requesting service they had time unlike the other 3 responding companies and came through as scheduled. They immediately jumped in, unboxed my tv, marked the area on the wall with the exact measurements of my tv, letting me know where the tv would sit and we adjusted from there to my likings. He mounted the wall mount way more efficiently than I did years prior; I personally made several attempts/mistakes doing it myself. And this is why you hire professionals, they have the experience and know-how. So after mounting the tv they actually made a couple of adjustments for me as far as location, releveled the TV for a last time, asked for my acceptance, and offered to walk me through the setup which I declined because I knew I could handle that part. But seriously I kinda knew they would be great once they came in and placed protective paper over my mantle before doing any drilling. That says a lot for me. And they cleaned up at the end as well leaving me with NOTHING to do other than make my settings changes. Couldn't be happier with a service. He made a great first impression and I stopped my search after realizing this is a great company. CESAR and OMAR are top notch installers. They were very professional,courteous and efficient. I showed them where I wanted the TV mounted and that was it. They called me into the room after an hour or so and the I couldn't believe the incredible job they had done. I believe it was Tony and Chris who came in last week to install my family's TV into our fireplace. My dad is a very Do it yourself type of person, and he insisted he could mount the TV himself, but after 5 months of it sitting on the stand, in harms way of our 65 pound dog, I thought it was time to call in some professionals. (much to my dad's dismay) From getting a quote to having questions answered HD was quick and efficient. We had concerns about the studs in the fireplace, but they assured us that if there were problems that they were prepared with solutions. The day of they came in ready to get to work, and were even respectful enough to take off their shoes! They immediately looked at the space and the only hold ups were the questions they had for me in terms of HDMIs, TV placement, and sound system connectivity. From start to finish it took the two of them less than an hour to put together/install a full-motion mount, the TV, and an outlet for the cables to connect behind the wall. After testing the connectivity we were able to enjoy the TV to its fullest, and the picture quality is even better now that the glare from the sun and our ceiling lights doesn't hit it anymore. Was it an investment? For sure. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I only wish we had done it sooner because my dad was especially impressed by their work. read more

We needed our tv mounted so we can view the tv from behind the couch. They suggested the perfect height so it can be viewed comfortably from the couch, as well as from the dining table. My husband also purchased a wall cable management kit on Amazon and they had no problem installing it. The tv is mounted perfectly, and all necessary cables are hidden inside the wall! It looks so clean. The only reason our internet cable is exposed is because it was too short and we didn't have a longer one on hand, but he explained an easy way to pull a new one through, if we decide to buy a longer one to hide in the wall. HD Hookups did such an incredible job on our TV mount. The install was very clean. You don't see any wires and you don't end up with tangled up cables behind your console or entertainment center. Everything was wrapped up beautifully. They were even able to install an outlet right behind the television as well as running the HDMI cables behind the wall. Unfortunately, the Harman Kardon soundbar we owned was not able to be mounted like we had hoped. Their pricing is a bit on the high end, however, after the work was complete you are left satisfied with the install.
