I was considering a Sanus mount from costco but I saw that they offered mounting hardware so I took a chance and went with their Armstrong brand mount. It is much more robust than the Sanus and the mount from HD Pros was cheaper. 5-Star review for Eric of HD Pros. But first...I booked an appointment on a lark to install a Black Friday TV I bought. HD Pros beats the prices at BestBuy by half. I said why not and booked. I was shocked that I could get a same day appointment. But Eric came. We dismounted the old TV, Eric identified that my old mount would work on my new TV, and told me to return it and save some mooolah. Well, we were defeated by the One Connect box or whatever on a Samsung S95 55 in. So, he put my TV back up, a nd out of pity only charged me 1/2 of the normal rate for hanging a TV. So, he helped me get the box outside. I went to BB and returnd it, and got a BIGGER one! I tried to book another same day appt, and fer sure, I got one! And Eric came back, and we manhandled that TV up. He checked everything, saved me a bunch of money, and made sure all was well before leaving. I really enjoyed his friendly and chatty demeanor, and am trying to think about how to put some cash aside to throw more work his way. read more

I called HD PRO on Sunday morning after seeing the add on craigslist. I was able to book a same day appointment for 2 tv install. Ed showed up at 8:30 pm and I showed him i wanted 2 tv's taken down and one of them moved and installed in another room and hide the cables. then had a brand new tv installed in my living room. This guy did everything in under an hour and a half. Very professional and really nice. He made everything perfect and was really clean with his work. Highly recommend these people. read more

First, I'll say that they get one star because the technician was always courteous, as were the people I spoke to on the phone. That said, they did a HORRIBLE job installing a pull-down TV mount, and I had to pay someone else to remove and reinstall (the right way) the terrible job they did. HD Pros assured me that the mount I purchased could not be installed on a single stud, but they had a solution that would allow me to safely install it on two studs that involved using a piece of plywood. Of course I asked how it would look at the end, and they said it would be perfectly neat. In the end, they put a badly cut, way too thick piece of plywood on my wall that was visible from all angles. (No way to cover it without basically installing a faux wall.) I tried to live with it for a few days but I couldn't look at it. I got a friend's handyman to come over and remove their work. He was shocked to see the set up. When he removed the plywood, we found that they had used so many huge bolts to attach it that the wall underneath was basically destroyed. In the end, I paid well over $300 for them to install a mount (that I paid for separately myself) on a shoddy piece of plywood, and then paid more to get someone else to redo their terrible work, and will probably end up losing part of my deposit because of the destroyed-then-patched wall. read more

Very disappointed, service was so bad, could not get to the point of having two tv's installed as scheduled to do with vendor's website. Install includes mounting two high end tv's of 75" & 85", all detailed in the scheduled appointment that was to occur today between 9-11am. I took day off work, my wife worked a short day to support install. By the way, received two initial estimates from HD Pro for this install. I expected the worse, meaning that okay, the higher bill $125 more t Han the other both from same day inquiries, same job details. I knew just to consider the higher of the two would most likely stand and as long as service and installation went accordingly I was okay with such, it was pricey but I suppose fair. The job was not difficult as just taking down two existing tts currently mounted to wall, replacing bot wall mount brackets and then hanging new tvs. . Watched the clock roll from 8:30am through 12:30pm intil Tech finally advised he was finishing from current install and heading my way. I'm thinking my appointment was for 9am and you had one to do prior? Sounds a bit tight, over scheduled maybe? Tech arrived by himself shortly after 1pm. I'm thinking only one installer for 2 XL, heavy tv s? Okay maybe another tech will arrive shortly to join in? When asked, the answer was no, he was sent to do my install single handed Lu, crazy! I must say while I was fuming internally, my technician was nice though and I he personally was not the issue, he was cool and understood I was getting screwed today!in more than one way by his employer, HD Pro. Don't let the name fool you, nothing pro about this outfit! The tech & I started to review the project and two estimate differences I had received to see which would stand. The answer was neither and while details of projects did not change, he was working off a new price sheet that did not reflect on either of my two initial estimates. Resulting in an even higher quote to complete an install he was totally & completely I'll prepared for. I had had enough, my day has just been lost, thanks to HD Pro and I could not take any more. Politely, I had to show theHD Pro tech the door and ask him to beat it, Horrible service, no confidence in that install could/would get completed correctly, & left thinking I was just being totally baited on pricing with HD Pro's goal being more about tasking your money while not being committed to the jobs & agreement with customers committing to. Called to inquire about getting my 50" plasma, and sound bar put on the wall, and they were seriously out to my house the very next day before noon! YAY! They did excellent work, but come to find out my not even 3 year old Boston sound bar was not working!! BOO! Not their fault of course, so I have to replace it. Had them come out and help me wall mount a large, 60 inch TV in a brand new home of mine. I wasn't feeling the most confident in taking on this task by myself. The team is very professional and accommodating. They were able to come out on short notice and install 5 brackets for me. The TV's were not available yet so they agreed to come back and complete the job. My husband can install the tv's, but these guys take into consideration a lot when they place the tv's. They ask questions about the type and size of the TV, and also how it will be used in the room in order to determine the proper height. They tape it up for you before they nail anything down so you can approve it. Pricing is competitive and even better than some of the stores.
