It was a snowy day and we really wanted Chinese, so this was the closest place. We stepped in and it was freezing. The waitress apologized for the cold and said the heater was on, but it wasn't working very well so we kept our jackets on the whole time. No one else was inside the restaurant. The waitress was super nice. She offered us free egg drop soup because it was so cold. We ordered the chicken with vegetables and the orange chicken. They were both standard Chinese dishes and nothing out of the ordinary. Prices were OK. Because it was so cold in there I was almost tempted to give this two stars but the waitress was just too nice so she made it back to 3 stars for me.

For a small chinese restsurant located is a prettt old strip mall, this place was actually pretty good. If you want an environment that feels fancy, this place is not it. It pulls no punches showing yoy what it is; Chisese food, full stop. The place is pretty barren sans for a few expected items of chinese culture. The service here is also pretty blunt; They are there to make you the food and you eat said food. That being said, the food is pretty great. Not the best, but you get plenty for your money and they get it to you FAST.

So so disappointed that they're no longer making Dongbei cuisine (a style of Northeastern Chinese cooking), which was what set them apart from the many other strip mall Chinese restaurants. I miss their Baozi (filled buns), Jiaozi (dumplings, not pot stickers), and hearty noodle dishes. What remains on the menu is the ubiquitous Mongolian Beef and Mapo Tofu, which were so average it made me wonder whether their original cook had left and that's why they couldn't offer the signature dishes anymore. Sad, very sad...

Not our favorite. Grubhub experience was confusing - restaurant printed order and did not update. Status went from confirming to pickup. Food was mediocre. Oil soaked scallion pancake, burned dumplings, oddly flavored beef (almost precooked).

So, so good. So, so satisfying. Order enough for days of leftovers. And these are wonderful people. Always so nice.

For most of the time, the main service problem was that the chief waitress was often obnoxious and loud. But we put up with that until they committed an act of rudeness such that I had never experienced before in a restaurant. The events occurred on an evening in which we brought guests with us: two other adults and their two small children. They had a series of take-out orders that evening, which they were prioritizing over in-restaurant customers. For about a half hour the staff simply refused to take our order, telling us to wait and order later. Eventually, they agreed to take our drink requests---which, except for water, never came. Meanwhile, people were coming in and picking up food regularly, while we sat there and they refused to even let us get into the order queue! Finally, after we'd been there at least 45 minutes, the kids were hungry and restless, so we started to leave. The waitress saw us leaving, and came over and disingenuously asked whether we wanted to order now. We said that because of the children we couldn't wait any longer, and we left. This contemptuous treatment of faithful in-restaurant customers was too much for us, and we have never gone back.

LOT FOOD FOR A GREAT COST!…read more We were HUNGRY! My Aspen (service dog loves shrimp!!) I'm the Veggie, and we were searching for a place rather close. Searching the area, we found a quiet unassuming, in a quiet neighborhood strip mall, simple place. Read the reviews, Hmmm sounds interesting. When entering in an off hour, there were other people filling the tables, "it must be good! With others' here at this time" What I found; Huge portions of lunch time food at a very reasonable cost! The Egg Drop soup was EXCELLENT, The Shrimp, well my Aspen devoured after I had one, it was plump - tender and flavorful. The Veggies, this is MY YUM and PLENTIFUL!! Fried rice - not so fried rather a steamed rice with soy, the egg roll was crisp, smaller than others (seems to be the new fashion these days) filled with wonderful veggies. Did I mention the Egg Drop Soup was DELICIOUS!!!! Our Server required being won over- at first, need to win her over with some compliments, then she smiled and giggled. This was LUNCH menu and it is plentiful and reasonable cost! The place is very clean and ample seating. Meals come quickly, be prepared. No outside seating, and it's a chilly October day. Open 6 days weekly, from 11AM till 8 or 9PM Price, extremely reasonable!!! Convenient Parking in Front. And take out is available with phone in first, or order while eating some delicious food. Definitely recommended if your in the quaint neighborhood an hungry.

First off, I am not an expert on dumplings, buns, etc. I've had them before, but it is not…read moresomething I find myself having often. Dumplings often have a slimey texture to me which isn't my favorite. The dumplings here were ok. They were very "juicy" inside; when you bit into them, they'd squirt out their innards into your plate. They take longer to be served than the buns. The two buns I had were decent, too. I preferred the flavoring of the beef one. However, both were very scant on actual meat. It's mostly cabbage and scallions. The buns themselves felt very heavy and a bit too dough-y for my preference. We also had the Chinese pancakes. It tasted like fried dough. So nothing terrible but nothing exciting as fried dough is usually good. What was most off putting was the service and the insides. As others have mentioned, it's a QR code. You don't really interact with anyone in this establishment. You must use a phone. They are very quick to bring you a cup of water when you sit down (and quick to leave, too). There's no place to refill your water, so you have to somehow track someone down to get some. I honestly don't know how you are supposed to order something other than water -- there is no "beverages" section in their ordering website. I guess they are going for that new hostile McDonald's tactic of wanting you to eat and leave by presenting you with the fewest employees possible. The interior is a dark steel, cement combo with lots of room. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable, but not atypical of other places. It seems clean, for the most part. It felt new like they were still trying to get used to the space (not very "lived in"). This, paired with the lack of service, just didn't make it very welcoming feeling or homey. It is, however, very easy to eat and leave. As for price, it seems reasonable to a degree. I feel like if there were to be more meat on the buns, the price would suit it well. But it's not too far off and I didn't leave feeling ripped off. I'm not quite sure what the tip is going towards when you pay, but they ask for one all the same -- before any service has been rendered.
