Both my dogs look and smell great. They are both blond and I think the shampoo they use must be a brightening shampoo. My only negative comment is when the groomer came to talk to me I was telling her that one of my dogs is a rescue and gets nervous. I explained that the previous groomer always said he did well and he seemed to be comfortable with her. She said "well maybe you should take him to the same groomer every time! ". I explained that we recently moved and I don't want to make a 45 minute drive (one way). I just felt her attitude was a bit confrontational and condescending. Maybe I'm being overly sensitive. Would recommend Head 2 Tails. Dogs look great. read more

Cannot say enough good things about the folks at Head 2 Tails. They're so nice and easy to work with. They're also quick, do a great job, and are slow and gentle with my old man. I have taken my baby girl here for years. They have always done a fantastic job, and they are great with her. Trixie doesn't get nervous when we take her for her grooming which is incredible since she is a tiny yorkie poo, and has some anxiety. I don't usually leave reviews but this place deserves the kudos! I've had a hack of a time finding a grommet that can do a specific breed groom. Other places say d they could and they didn't. They took the time to listen to me on drop off and explain what they would be doing. My dog looks like his breed again! They are great here! read more

Before Head 2 Tails, I'd take my fur babies to PetSmart for all of their grooming needs. One of my fur babies is a Pomeranian so at PetSmart they would always take a minimum of 3 hours.. another thing is the haircuts weren't always consistent and each visit I would ask for the same thing. I decided to try Head 2 Tails because they seemed to have great reviews. I took my pom and, as expected, I was very nervous to try a new place that we didn't know. I'm so happy to say that I was not disappointed. They gained my trust in the first visit and they did such a great job with Max! I dropped him off at 9am and by 10:15am he was ready for pickup. I called before heading over to make sure that it wasn't a mistake because I was so used to waiting 3-4hrs to pick him up. Once I arrived and saw Max, I was so pleased!!! Lacey did such a great job with him and did exactly what I asked for. We will definitely be going back for all of my babies grooming needs! read more

Our poor Delilah (poodle/Lhasa mix) was a mess. She swims in the pool every day, and then rolls around in the grass. We had been very bad dog parents and not brushed her or bathed her between swims. The groomer had to shave her all the way down in most spots because of matting, but her face and ears still looked great. And they kept her eyelashes intact which look so cute on her. I brought my shorkie in to be groomed there for the first time and it was great! Probably one of my favorite cuts she's gotten in her 9 years of life! And oh my goodness she was SO SOFT! I'm from California, and her cuts were a little less expensive there but took ALL DAY, whereas it was little pricier here but they only took about an hour to get her done and I could tell they took great care of their furry little customers.
