I highly recommend Hair Craft Studio in Rochelle Park…read more Nicole is a great stylist. She really listens to me and always gives me a beautiful haircut. She is fun to talk to. Everything is affordable, including the hair products they sell. Why pay more when the products they carry get the job done just as well? Free parking is always available when I visit. I like their method of applying color. Their chairs and sink are comfortable (ask them to put the "neck thing" on the sink for a better experience).

I've had two disappointing experiences here and wanted to share feedback for both future clients…read moreand management. The most recent visit was for my fiancée's haircut ahead of our engagement photos. Unfortunately, the result was far from what was requested. The sideburn was cut blunt and disconnected from the beard, and the overall shape came out more like a bowl cut rather than the soft, layered style shown in the reference photo. There was also no mirror check at the end, and no styling advice or opportunity to request adjustments, which made it harder to address issues before leaving. On a previous visit, I brought my younger sister in for highlights. The service itself was fine, but at the end, the stylist loudly said, "Thank GOD, that's over with!" while we were still nearby. It made what should have been a fun, memorable experience feel uncomfortable and awkward. I understand that not every appointment goes perfectly, and I initially brushed off the first experience. However, after the haircut issue, I feel there are some consistency and professionalism concerns. Small things like checking the final result with a mirror, offering minor adjustments, and being mindful of comments within earshot of clients would go a long way. Because of these experiences, I'll likely look for another salon moving forward, but I hope this feedback is helpful for improvement.

Oooooooooh... Ulta Beauty has REALLY stepped up its game over the past few years. I used to vouch…read morefor Sephora alllllll the time, but as of recently... I might be making a switch. This location is in the Bergen Town Center, so you might find parking to be a pain in the a$$... Some pros of Ulta: *You get the best of both worlds because they carry both drugstore and high-end beauty brands. They've added a lot more brands recently. I was shook lol. So you'll have much more variety when you shop. *Their rewards/points system is unmatched. The points you accumulate can be used as discounts on future purchases. They also have a lot of BOGO deals, sales, freebies, and events to give you chances to multiply your points. At Sephora, you can only use your points towards whatever samples they are offering at that time. They don't have as many incentives. *They offer brow services *They have a fully operating hair salon *Stores are generally much more spacious and bigger I would say two of the biggest cons are that Ulta does not carry many "hot" or "unique brands"... Sephora definitely does. I've also had better customer service at Sephora. This Ulta location can be a hit or miss with the employees. Some are very knowledgeable about products and some are not. They're also stingy with samples. One thing's for sure... you step into Ulta wanting one item, and you'll walk out with 10...

I came here to return a Revlon dryer that all of a sudden sparked and made a weird noise…read more Apparently the Revlon brush dryer is doing that a lot. After I returned it, I went to check out the other hair dryers. I am particularly follicularly blessed with long hair so I love a good hair dryer. They have a nice display for testing out dryers which I must compliment because I have not seen this anywhere else. I tested the half shot and it looked good!
