The "stylist" wanted to do dry cut using flat iron (?!), I asked her to do the color first, then wash and cut - as educated professionals would do. She kept the semi-permanent color on for 10 minutes; another big NO when trying to cover the grays. She couldn't wait to see me leave, I feel bad for wasting money on $65 single process that I have to re-do less than 3 weeks later and a haircut that still left me with split ends and no style. The whole cut, color, deep conditioning process and blow out lasted 50 min- my hair is past shoulder length! I'm a good tipper so I left her $10- now I wish I hadn't. Will never go back and strongly advise you not to if you're looking for a decent cut and color. read more

I had my hair done there in september for my wedding. A younger girl named Natalie did it. It not only took her close to 3 hours to do it, she had to take it down close to 4 times bevause she said she had never worked on hair as thick of mine so she wAs having trouble. My hair not only did not come out even close to my trial, it was falling out before I even got to my makeup appoitment! Since it took her so long There was no time to even fix it. The whole entire night my friends had to keep pinning it up and in some of my pictures you can see pieces that fell out in the back. I was VERY disappointed and would NEVER go back there. This was a Groupon deal that I snatched up because it is hard to find salons who specialize in the dry cut. I prefer that method as your hair is cut in its natural state so you get a pretty accurate idea of what it will look like right after the cut and not after the blow dry and style when your hair is all wet. Also for people who are really picky about length, this will give a true representation as there will be no "shrinkage" since your hair is dry. I usually kick myself when buying a groupon for a service-based deal. I thought this would be the case when I had a hard time trying to get an appointment on a Sat, actually it was impossible in near future. I have a 2 year old so I finally just made the soonest appt and asked my husband to work from home so I could escape. I was called the day before the appt and was told the stylist I had would be out sick so they had to reschedule. I was not happy as my husband had already re-arranged his schedule to accommodate this appt. I explained this and was offered a 4pm instead of my original 1pm, so of course I had to take that. With that said, I was thoroughly pleased with the skills of my stylist. She (Natalie, I think her name was) was wonderful and did an awesome job and I will be back. When I called to book the appointment, I expressed a bit of concern since the groupon only qualifies for select stylists. I was told it is not good for $85 stylists but $65 stylists. I was told they are still good so I wasn't that worried. I don't know if after the change which level of stylist I got, but hair-wise, I got exactly what I wanted. I cut off enough so I could donate my hair to locks of love, so I went from almost waist length hair to above shoulder length, so the fact that I was more than satisfied says a lot! read more
