I'm not sure if I recommend this salon yet because we had just started going. In the month or so between they raised haircuts by 1 $10. That's a lot when I have 3 boys. The girl at the desk stated "because the cost of living went up." Yes it has but my salary hasn't gone up. No one's has. I was in town for a visit and was looking for a nice place to get pedicures with a friend. I knew that I wanted a nicer salon and spa, not a quick nail spot. The Crocker Park website didn't give me as many options as I expected and Head Quarters definitely seemed like the most quality option in the area. Since my friend and I were together to catch up I booked us both for the Aveda Spa Pedicure. On the Aveda website this was listed as a one hour service. Catching up with a friend calls for the longest and most luxurious available services. We arrived a few minutes early and filled out our paperwork. The receptionist offered us water and it looked like tea was available as well. After a short wait our technicians arrived and took us back to the nail room. We picked out polish colors and settled in for some pampering. The services were great. Our technicians were friendly and our nails looked great at the end. The Aveda products smell really good and the lovely scent lingered all day. Our pedicures provided that relaxing time to catch up. The only negative was that the service that was listed as 60 minutes came out to 45 minutes. I would have liked maybe a longer massage or something to justify paying the extra money for the longer service. read more

Was quoted $250 to go blonde (first process) I was aware I'd need a few more processes to get to where I wanted to be. The stylist showed me what my hair would look like after the first process and I was super happy about it! Well, the day comes and after the appointment was done, I was super unhappy. My hair was not light! Mind you my ends were already lightened. She kept reassuring me that it would lighten as I washed it and when I was in the sun. I said okay went up to the front made an new appointment for round two and she went back to her station... they told me it would be FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN DOLLARS. Lol what?? But she already bleached my hair so I paid it. Staying super unhappy, I found another stylist at a new salon and cancelled with HQ. Sharing a picture of my hair after I was charged $416. I called and scheduled my appointment a month in advance. 20 minutes before my arrival, I received a call where I was told that walk in customer is taking longer time and they need to reschedule for another day. I can't believe I paid $35 plus a tip for this horrible men's cut. My barber stylist of 35 years retired so I gave Headquarters a try and was shocked with the results. The wash lasted maybe 20 seconds with no conditioner applied. Next, I received a 10-minute cut with no blowout! My hair requires drying to blend the areas that require it. I got to my car and noticed problem areas. After returning, the stylist made the problem worse ! I called the owner and was informed about why they didn't blow out my hair and give me a proper haircut. Yes, they blamed it on the Virus Epidemic!!! Though they offered to see me again that day, I was advised by another salon that Headquarters Salon & Spa would be a poor choice to fix my hair based on the results I experienced. Fine hair requires special skills to cut and they lack this expertise based on my experience. I politely requested a refund to offset the repair work I had performed elsewhere but never heard back. Let me first say that my hair dresser was great. I liked her and she did a good job. My problem with this salon was the price. Most Aveda salons are non tipping so the price includes a tip for the hair dresser. This salon was not one of those salons. Normally that would still be okay with me except their prices were just as high if not higher than other TIPPING aveda salons. My trim cost $40, my highlight cost $100, and then I was charged $35 for toner. So in total it was $175 plus tax then added tip. I've always gone to an Aveda salon and never have I paid that much. Aveda at Casals and Rometrics included tip and were lower than $150 for same service. Price does matter to me so this will be my first and last time to go to this salon. I, like most Americans don't have $200+ to shell out every 4-6 weeks just for hair. read more

I liked the upscale but comfortable atmosphere and everyone working there went out of their way to be polite and friendly. I never felt ushered from station to station like in some salons. I was staying town for my best gal pals wedding. Had no plans of getting my hair done but another bridesmaid suggested HeadQuarters. I called them less than 24 before the wedding and they got me in no problem! Sweet! Showed up and was seated with a cup of joe immediately. I had no plans for how my hair should look so I pretty much let my stylist do whatever she wanted. With the creative freedom granted, my stylist (whose name I dreadfully forget) gave me hands down, the best undo I've ever had! I received compliments all night long. In short, the salon smells amazing (duh, it's an Aveda salon), the stylist and staff are genuinely friendly and there's definitely a lot of talent! Pretty good service and you become attached to your stylist quickly, I know I am! The services have 3 ranges based on the experience of your stylist. But for spa services there is one base price. Some of the services are quite expensive and some are really good deals. It also helps if you go during promotions when you can get 3 services for 75.00: hair highlights (10 foils), cut, and a wax ( i think that's the services they offer with it). The facials made me break out and red so I won't do that again. Also, sometimes the eyebrow wax irritates my skin around there. The pedi and manicures are quite enjoyable; however, they have a limited color selection. The only services I would really recommend is hair coloring/highlighting, shampoos and cuts. read more

I had to get my hair just styled for a wedding on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I was staying close by to here, called and made an appointment. I just needed my hair washed, blown out, and flat ironed. With the thickness of my hair, and my lack of experience, this takes me about 90 minutes to do. Hands down the best place around NEO to have your hair done. Eliot does my hair. He's a gifted stylist and it's a pleasure to be his client. The front desk staff are always pleasant. They religiously confirm your appointment via text, email and maybe they call too. Depending on the time of your appointment you can get a parking spot right in front of the store, if not you can park in the garage but allow 5-7 mins to walk from the garage. I'm always offered coffee, tea or water upon arrival, they hang your coat, purse or bag up and they are conscientious about your clothing and have you change if needed so nothing gets stained by hAir color. I wear glasses and they even protect the stems with plastic or foil. They are sure to book your next appointment before you leave which is wonderful so you don't need to try and call later. I went for highlights and roots being touched up, got my Scalp BURNED by their chemicals. Stay away. I've never had this happen to me before anywhere. I told the stylist it was burning and she said "tingling" was normal. Sorry, but chemical burns are NOT normal. I have red scabs all along my forehead/hairline. Stay Away. read more

She was so professional and sweet. She made sure of the length and consulted me about everything. the first time there, my cut was great.......second time, my hair was considerably shorter on one side......the third time, stylist didn't even want to shampoo my hair, was cutting my hair crooked, corrected them, they agreed, then tried to fix it, went home to only find that hair was much shorter on one side, in the back, than the other......won't be going back, disappointing experience..............IF THERE WAS A WAY TO GIVE ZERO STARS, THAT'S WHAT I WOULD GIVE....... read more

I think supercuts would have done a better job. First my request for a trim was ignored. I wanted to keep the length and instead walked out with a shoulder length bob/ Then to top it off it's uneven and by uneven I mean random strands that were left long. To make matters worse I caught the uneven pieces in the front at the salon and then they "fixed" them and supposedly made things even all around. Clearly not the case. I have always had good luck with aveda salons so its disappointing that this one is so terrible and sullies the brand. Next time I'll save my 45 bucks and go to supercuts. I purchased large bottles of shampoo few weeks back, they did not give me a pump which they usually do. I stopped by a few times and every time I was told that week's shipping did not have pumps. I will never be back to this salon. I came in for a basic haircut, and I asked for a trim all around, with my bangs an inch below my chin and to keep the "V" shape to the back. At the salon i noticed she cut off at least an inch more than i asked, but i didn't say anything because i figured it wasn't worth it and its not like she could take it back. It wasn't until i got home that my roommate asked why my hair is so uneven. I looked in the mirror and the left side of my bangs were at least an inch shorter than the right side!! Huge difference! And its not like my hair was parted a different way while cutting. I asked for it to be parted down the center and cut like that because that's how i wear it. So now my left side starts an inch ABOVE my chin, and my right side starts at my chin! I look absolutely ridiculous. I cannot believe i didn't inspect her cut more after she did it. So now i have to wear ponytails until my hair is long enough to be fixed. I am seriously sick to my stomach over this. I will never be back nor recommend your salon. read more
