7/07 I was sitting at lunch and needed my gray roots covered. I saw awesome reviews for Le Hair design studio. It is Monday and I popped in. Don't go to Le Solon, if you have long hair; if you are looking to only get a trim. I had long hair. It was down to my hips. I asked her to only cut 5 inches of my hair off. When she was done; my hair was shoulder-length. I was very upset when I have seen that she cut over a foot of my hair off. I can't stand looking at myself in the mirror. I cry about it every time I see it. I can no longer style my hair the way I used to. This was my first time getting my hair done by her and this will be my last time. She did what she wanted to do and not what the client requested. I would hate for someone who loves their long locks to have them chopped off thinking they were only going for a trim. read more

I've been here before to get my hair cut multiple times but today was my first time ever getting highlights. I was kinda nervous since I've never dyed my hair before but they helped so much to keep it kinda natural looking. We looked up some pictures together (which i probably should have done before i came in haha) but she helped me pick out a nice color for the highlights and style. From the moment I walked in both ladies were so friendly. Tina did an amazing job. She massaged my scalp and neck for so long after the conditioning treatment sat in my hair as I relaxed to the calming music. I should have listened to Kelly L's review. I can confirm the stylist does not know how to layer hair. My bf saw my haircut and asked "what's up with the rat tail?" in reference to the section of hair at the bottom center that she obviously did not layer in. I paid for a haircut, only to have my bf who has zero experience in cutting hair help me chop off the "rat tail" she left behind. Sadly, the rest of my hair was equally layered poorly, but this was beyond what my bf could help me fix (see Kelly L's review when she described her layers looking as if they were "chewed off by a dog"). To be fair, I think the stylist could see I was visibly disappointed with the haircut (after she made her first cut where she took off 3 inches, I confirmed with her that I wanted to keep my length, she said "you're scared I took off too much. Don't worry. I'm making your hair feel lighter") and offered me "$5 off for first time haircut" and to come back if I was unhappy and she would fix it for free. I will not be coming back, even for a free haircut. It will be months of me wearing my hair in ponytails and buns because I am embarrassed of how my hair looks when it is down. Unfortunately, she cut my hair shorter than I wanted and with short layers so there is little I can do until my hair grows back out and I can find a stylish who knows how to layer hair. I went to the Le hair Design Salon in Fairview Park for the first time yesterday, and was happy with the haircut I got from the salon manager Thuy .She did exactly what I wanted as per the picture I showed her. The only disappointment was she did not shampoo and condition my hair before cutting it off.. I think she skipped the wash and conditioner because she was short handed, one stylist so this was quick cut in and out... Not sure why it was not included in the price I paid her??? However I was happy with my cut, so would go back when it is time for another haircut. If the manager reads this please call me...I would like to hear your thoughts on this. read more

Worst hair cut I have ever gotten, the stylist layered my hair and did such a poor job that it looks like a dog chewed my hair, all parts were uneven. The hair style was outdated as well and I believe the stylist has very little skills in layering. Will never go back again. Definitely the worse experience for me. read more

Such an amazing hair stylist! My mom and I drive all the way from Dayton to get permanent make-up and our hair done here. The owner is the main hair stylist and she has "magic hands"! She cuts my hair perfectly and does my moms permanent eyebrows so well. I'm surprised there aren't more great reviews.
