My appointment was hella early and the wind on Sunday was tryna blow out my blow out but she held and she was GORG! Anyways, highly recommend. As for the service...the wash wasn't good. My hair still feels dirty after leaving. She didn't even wash the bottom of my hair. Very disappointed. I purchased a prepaid blowout package under the understanding that the blowouts did not expire. When I recently tried to use my remaining services, I was told they no longer honor packages because they switched to a membership system a couple years ago. I checked my email and do not see any clear notice that my prepaid services had to be used by a certain deadline. Instead of honoring what I already paid for, they only offered a discounted blowout. I can't begin to express how much I love this place. I've had a membership on and off for about 5 years now and finally got around to writing a review. I loved the consistency and process of my stylist Sam, about five years ago. Alexus was great when I finally started coming in again last year. They're both gone. Now--I am going with Kylie and she's excellent! I decided to renew the membership the moment she touched my hair. She is so gentle and is so detailed in her process to leave my hair with volume and style. I have a sensitive scalp and love to just relax in the chair. She went above and beyond in both styling and experience! She's amazing. I'm particular about not getting hurt at the salon, so I love when I find a new stylist who cares. The membership is worth it! My only complaint is that whenever I schedule, the front desk tries to reschedule me for a different time. It's ok if this was necessary a few times here and there, but it's almost every booking in recent years. I have a tight schedule and like going to the stylist I know at the time I selected. I get the sense that it's not so much the girls in the front messing with my appt but more so that management maximizes the times of operation for profit on their end, switching my stylist without letting me know beforehand or trying to change my appt times as they need. This is a big reason I canceled my membership in the past. They also were very strict with arrival times before, while being very quick to change my appt/stylist time 2-3 times on their end. I had a much better experience today, so I hope things are changing. Other than their appt system, I think the stylists are amazing, leaving your hair looking beautiful. My stylist Anyssa is the greatest! She offers amazing conversation, is attentive, and gets the job done every time. I've been wearing braids for years, and in between, I get a flat iron and a trim. Sadly, my previous stylist, the flat iron usually only lasts 2-3 days at best. They sucked. No wonder why it's never busy. Her friend did a decent job. But she only did half. So my hair looks half nice and had homeless. Never ever ever again. I want to start by saying my stylist was truly the saving grace of this experience--she was kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the overall salon left a lot to be desired. The stylist stations were noticeably outdated and in poor condition--some stations were chipped, and the setup felt neglected. There also seemed to be a lack of organization; stylists were borrowing products from each other, and the product selection itself appeared mismatched and inconsistent. We asked if they offered coffee, and were told they couldn't provide any because they had run out of cups, which just added to the feeling that this location isn't well-maintained. For the price point, there are other locations that offer a far more polished, luxurious experience. I wouldn't recommend spending your money at this location when there are better options nearby offering the same services at the same price. read more

The service here is awful and staff is rude. My niece came here for a blowout for prom and showed the stylist a picture of what she wanted and the stylist said she could do it. It didn't look anything like the photo and when my niece asked the stylist to fix it she rolled her eyes and said she was running behind and didn't have time. The salon was empty. I have been going to Sassy Blowtique more often lately and realized I have yet to write them a review. I absolutely love this blowout salon and all of the employees there. I've had my hair done by Rebecca, Cherie, Britnay, Lexus, and Malissa. My go to style is beach waves, but I've had flat iron curls and mermaid waves done too. The salon is super clean and chic looking. Bobbi at the front desk has great customer service skills and is always so friendly when I check in and out. All of the stylists provide great conversation and I leave feeling like I've just met up with one of my girlfriends and we spent time catching up. They sell lots of hair products to make your style last longer and sell travel size products as well. They have a rack of cute clothes for both women and children too. They also have add on services like scalp scrubs and massages. The salt scrub is one of my favorite add ons to my blowout when I want my scalp to feel squeaky clean. Definitely check out Sassy Blowtique for a great blowout experience. You'll love your hair after you leave and will find yourself scheduling appointments more frequently. read more

I LOVE this Blowout Salon. I have very curly hair, and have tried numerous Blow dry salons, and this one is The Best! I have been coming here for at least 3 years. Whenever I want a change, for special occasions or just to get their awesome scalp massage! I have had various stylist, and they are all experienced, right down to the root! I have a very blended family with curls, coils, kinks, and everything in between and I have brought them all to the Henderson location, and they didn't disappoint. Have textured hair?.... They got you. It is very hard to find stylist that can take curly or kinky hair and do a round brush blowout to perfection, ( that lasted a week, and easily could've lasted longer)but they nail it time and time again. The salon is immaculate while also being friendly and has a classy bohemian chic vibe. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I went in today (Halloween) because my costume is Sabrina Carpenter so I wanted to get a blowout. Beforehand, I showed Jackie a picture of her hair and said a lot of volume and emphasized the bangs. From the wash I knew it was going down hill because I could feel a lot of the conditioner still in my hair. Wishing for the best I stayed and I wish I walked out sooner. Leaving with my hair greasy and damn near pinned straight to my scalp. I naturally have voluminous hair as is and just wanted to treat myself. When I pulled up the picture again and asked her for volume and to not have side bangs she said she will finish and fix it when she's done. I don't understand why you wouldn't just do it right the first time?? My appointment was at 12:15 and I literally got up and walked out at 1:30 because I couldn't do it anymore and going to be late for work with fucked up hair. The stars are not for the stylist Jeanne. I'd give her 5 stars. The stars are for the misrepresentation of the treatment I was getting. It's advertised as the Brazilian Blowout Rewind treatment that requires a consultation and is supposed to last about 10 washes. When booking, I asked about the consult but was told one wasn't needed. I've been coming to sassy for blowouts for sometime and was excited to see Brazilians being offered. I don't want to give Jeanne any bad reviews. She was very upfront with me about the hair treatment I was getting when I showed up for my appointment on Monday 7/24/23. I thought it would be a Brazilian blowout and she clarified to me it was more of a conditioning treatment. Had I known it wasn't a Brazilian blowout, I would've booked with a salon. I was coming to Hawaii the next day after my blowout and you can't even tell there was any special conditioning or treatment after the humidity hit my hair which is naturally curly. The consult would've definitely helped me understand what I was getting so I recommend you insist on a consult. My hair is now wavy/curly completely on my 2nd day of vacation and that is without me washing it. I wanted straight hair for Hawaii so I could easily maintain it. Was definitely disappointed in the price and the misperception of what I was getting done to my hair. I paid a lot of $ for treatment that' didn't even last 24 hours. I love sassy overall but will only be going for blowouts in the future and nothing extra. They really should change how this is advertised read more
