5 stars for Kiara and her blow out skills! -2 stars for the non-existent instructions to find this place. I booked an appointment at Artistry while visiting Vegas for a wedding. Since I was doing the commute from LA to LV, I wanted to destress with a blow out. I chose the Artistry based on their proximity to my hotel and their fantastic Yelp reviews. While the confirmation email mentions the hotel (The Westgate), no other information was provided. When I arrived at the hotel I didn't see the salon listed on any of the signage at the Westgate, nor did the hotel's concierge know of this business. Finally I visited their website and noticed that '3rd floor' was stated at the bottom of their webpage. When I made it to the third floor, there sat the Serenity Spa? The only reason I thought this was mislabeled was because I had seen photos on their Yelp page that showed the same windows. I no joke had to do detective work to find this biz. I showed up to my appointment barely on time (despite arriving to the hotel 30min early) and incredibly stressed, especially since they have a strict refund policy. I'm assuming that the salon is largely meant for hotel guests who see the space and book while visiting the pool. I just wish they made it easier for those of us staying offsite. read more

Came here last minute to get some braids done for the Life Is Beautiful. I called and made a last minute appointment. I don't remember the name of the lady who helped me and do my hair, but she was very nice and quick! Clearly she's experienced in what she does! It was precisely what I was looking for, too keep my hair up and away from my face d/t the scorching vegas heat. You do have to navigate through the Westgate, and take an elevator up to their salon and spa, But I had no issue in terms of parking (free) or getting to the salon. read more

I had a terrible experience here and this was for hair and makeup for my wedding. I had to remove my makeup while there because it was so caked on and way too light for my skin tone, I looked like a corpse. I was so mortified to even walk back out to the car with the way it looked. I had to ask the girl secure my hair multiple times before leaving, once I left I had to go to Walgreens to get hair spray and Bobby pins. She used no product to keep anything in place! The only thing I initially liked was my eye makeup/eyelashes, however that changed when the eyelashes started coming off on the way to my wedding. I had to ask our photographer to please edit my photos so they didn't look ridiculous. I emailed the day of my wedding requesting to be refunded for my hair that fell out and for my eye makeup/lashes that did not hold....i have never even gotten a response. Then to top it off, they somehow double booked me for the following week so I just got a notification that I was a "no show" for the same services and they'll attempt to charge me....I am home now, not in Vegas I did not require bridal services 2 weeks in a row that doesn't even make sense! I've tried to call in a follow up to my email and can't get anyone on the phone. I should have known when I walked in for my services and no one was there except for myself and the girl doing both hair and makeup. Go elsewhere this place is a joke. read more

As a bride eloping, planning a wedding with Elvis in Las Vegas on New Years Day can be incredibly overwhelming. The day before my wedding, I realized I needed to have a little bit more hair and makeup for photos. IBlowdry closed their physical location on New Years, but after speaking with hundreds of makeup artists and stylists, I am so grateful I had the pleasure of meeting Joe and Michelle. Joe was incredibly kind and helpful on the phone. Michelle was the premiere stylist who came to my hotel the morning of the wedding. She's been doing hair and makeup for over 33 years and it absolutely shows. She's done Lady Gaga's mother, Michael Jordan, actors, actresses, models, athletes, you name it! Michelle is incredibly talented, genuine, hard working, efficient, friendly, caring and overall a phenomenal person. What a privilege to have met her- she will make any Bride, leading lady or man feel like a million bucks! She was so thoughtful and helped me take additional photos of my maid of honor putting on my wedding gown, shoes and helped me choose my jewelry to perfect the look. Overall the cost for an up do gets pretty pricey, but I was not able to get a haircut beforehand so I bit the cost of $120 for hair, $60 for makeup and gratuity. For brides on a budget- I paid for everything, from my wedding gown on sale $99, shoes $40, nails $75 and waxing- $85 so to spend a little more on makeup was worth it in the long run (especially if the stylist comes to you!) IBlowdry includes all of the pricing of the stylist coming to you, gas, parking, travel as well as supplies, hair spray and makeup. They also have cheaper packages for brides and larger bridal parties. My mother was not there to prepare so Michelle went above and beyond to cheer me up. Michelle really made me feel beautiful on my special day and I am so grateful for her and the kind staff of IBlowdry. If you are having a difficult time deciding LOOK NO FURTHER! IBlowdry has competitive prices, incredible and genuine staff and should be your go to for your next event, wedding, interview, or gala! Ask for Michelle too she's the absolute BEST! My hair was absolutely gorgeous and stayed up all day and night for the party! Highly recommend!! My makeup was a good match for my skin tone, which can be tricky when you have an olive undertone but she did really well! I had some minor issues with the eyeshadow; it didn't really follow the references I showed and wanted and the eyelashes weren't even, one was too high on my eyelid a bit. My hair barely holds a curl and it stayed like this for a couple days which was great. Finding it can be sort of confusing and no matter how many people I asked inside of Westgate, I still ended up having to find it on my own and it's not iBlowdry's fault half the elevators were broken, but I would suggest getting there a little early if you're not familiar with the hotel. read more

I scheduled a blowout while I was staying at the Westgate for a conference. My stylist Joe was more than 15 minutes late for the appointment. I had to ask the girl at the front desk if she had heard from him because I just sitting there and nobody was giving me any updates on why my stylist wasn't there. Finally she called him after I was asking where he was, she said he was gonna be there in three minutes. When he walked in he didn't acknowledge me, he just went to his station to set up his station. Finally he called me over and just asked me a couple questions but never introduced himself and never apologized for being late and didn't engage in any other conversation with me so I decided to just sit there and read a book. I did eventually ask him his name so that I can include it in this review. On top of that, the way he blew dry my hair made all of my flyaways more pronounced. When he was done I had to ask him to apply some product to control the frizzies. I've never had my hair look frizzy after a professional blowout. I really couldn't wait to get out of there. It was so awkward and he was so unprofessional. I wish I had just done my hair myself and saved the money. read more

I went to Francis and asked her to fix the mess Great Clips did. It took her an hour and a half to fix. She was mortified when she saw the style I wanted vs the style, or non style, that I received. I'll be going back to her if I'm in town and having her keep up with the hair as it needs to grow out a bit more to get to the length I want. Only thing was the price. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a trim as she needed to fix or a full cut. I think it would've been better if Francis let me know ahead of time it was going to be a full cut ($55) and not a trim ($35). Just check with the client first to make sure they can pay for the full cut. Luckily, I had planned it being a full cut, but it wasn't discussed when she saw the hair. We came in before my bestie's vow renewal and photo shoot for a blow out and full makeup. The stylists were so sweet and we were very happy with our looks! They accommodated our timing/schedule... and since we were tight on time, they did our hair and makeup at the same time, "movie star" style. We loved it! I am so glad I know about this salon! Such an affordable, convenient way to get glammed up for whatever reason you're in Vegas! I was in town as a wedding guest, and the wedding was at 1PM. Yelp searches led me here. I love that they have super late hours.... they are open until midnight on most evenings! They were happy to accommodate an 11AM appointment. A blowout style is only $35, and a hair/makeup special is $65. I wish I could remember my stylist's name, but she was friendly, down-to-earth, and talented! She offered me 2 mimosas because I had just driven in from Los Angeles and had been awake since before dawn! I told her that I wanted loose, pretty waves and showed her a photo of my dress. She didn't take long at all to give me soft, shiny, pretty, Old Hollywood-type waves. They lasted allllllll night, even when I took a nap after the wedding! I could run my fingers through them and they stayed put and still felt soft, not sticky. Friends who saw my social media pictures later complimented me and asked me how I did my hair (and these photos were taken after my long nap!) I would highly recommend this place to get glammed up for a wedding. I went in with two other bridesmaids and we all loved our looks. Tsion (Cee-on) did two of the bm make up and we loved it. I didn't catch the other girls name, but she did a great job too. My friend even saw that the glitter eyeshadow was too much and the MUA had no problem taking it off and starting fresh. The people who work there are so sweet. Cervando did my hair and another bm hair. He knew exactly what to do. My hair lasted all night long. We went in at 10:00am even though the wedding was at 6:00pm. Make up and hair lasted allll night. We used the yelp check in price of $65 and dang was it totally worth it. I was pricing other MUA and hairstylists for a wedding and they wanted around $200! Um, no thanks. I am at out-of-town guest, and I thought I would try a Salon outside my hotel for a blow dry choosing this salon was definitely a bad decision. I booked two appointments one for myself and one for a friend. We show up at 2pm to the location that is addressed on this app for the salon. We are told we are at the wrong location and that they are closed today? I was not told to go to Westgate where the other location is located inside of, now I am an out-of-town guest. This is not convenient at all so the gentleman that sent us to the other location assured us that we were in good hands and that a gentleman by the name of Joe would be styling our hair we get there Joe is less than friendly I go first and I have to tell you besides the scalp massage this was the Worst blo-out I have ever received! To celebrate the weekend in Vegas, my friend booked an appointment at iBlowdry Hair Salon and she walked out looking like this after paying $65 with Groupon. 1) I cannot believe they let my friend walk out of the hair salon looking like this (See photo attached. The photo on the left is how my friend does her make up on day to day basis and the photo on the right is after she got out of iBlowdry. What a joke right?). I understand there are multiple people working at the salon and some will be better at their job than others. I can't believe she had to pay someone to make her look worse. She ended up taking off her make up in the cab on the way to dinner. 2) The lady doing my friend's make-up kept poking her eyes as she was putting on the mascara and the lady's solution was "hey you have a mascara with you right? Can you just put it on when you get home?" I couldn't believe it. She was also talking about how jittery her hands were while she was doing my friend's eyebrows. 3) While my other friend was done with her hair and make up, this lady was still working on my friend's hair (clearly looks like she just left the club after a long night if that's the look she was going for...) and didn't even start on her makeup! I was looking for a Groupon online for my sister and I to get blowouts since we were visiting town and found this place. First impression, staff was super friendly! They also honored the Groupon price which was super easy and convenient. However, I asked for loose waves and was expecting a super relaxed wave/beach curl but felt like I left with super tight curls that were not flattering. I ended up pulling my hair back and going home to straighten the ends to relax the curls a little more. Overall, my service was $50 (with tip) and I didn't love the final result.
