You'll also find handmade jewelry, small brass bells, lots of essential oils and other unique items that make it super easy to bring a little calmness into everyday life. But what really makes Custom C. special is the owner who's kind and easy to talk to. I wanted her advice on which Quartz to buy for bringing positive energy into our new home and suggested an amethyst. Here the thing- she has $15 amethyst, 20s, 40s and up and she was never pushy for me to get a pricier piece. At $45 for my amethyst, I was ready to display it in my new home. So whether you're into spirituality or just browsing out of curiosity, she totally makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

And Mital helped me with a lot of other achy, ailing body parts too while I was there. This was a rough winter...so cold, so dry, so sluggish. I had lost quite a bit of weight and then regained it...only to find it didn't go back in the same place. (read: jowly! That's right, the chin was starting to droop. Nothing bad...just hereditary...but I wasn't ready for it!). Mital said she could help that...and her work did! In just the first 3-4 sessions I felt like my whole neck/lower jaw/chin area was toned again. Forehead wrinkles too got less severe. Also...my eyelids are normally covered by the brow and that's more lifted now too. Overall, I just feel perkier and more toned. Was SO worth it! And, during the course of the 5 week treatment...I jammed a finger and had a swollen knuckle she took care of in one visit...was hurting for days and then it was just gone and healed! The minute you step foot, you can feel it running through your body, and you can honestly tell it is a safe place. After doing some exploring in Nyack, something told us to make a left and walk down the road, which is where we found The Open Spirit. We had the pleasure of meeting Jackie, who had such a warm and fun spirit! She greeted us with open arms, engaged in a conversation, and go to know who we were. We've been back numerous times since, and every time Jackie remembers who we are. In fact, the second time we ever went back, was to check out Nyack's street fair. We went to visit Jackie's booth and the minute we stepped foot she told everyone inside that we were the guys from NYC she couldn't stop talking about. It was such a humbling and grateful experience. Every time we visit the shop we meet someone new. We were there about 2 weekends ago, and we met Lisa. Again, another great soul to come across!
