The front desk person could probably be a little more welcoming but hey I'm just an overly welcoming person. Andrew did my pedicure and he was fantastic I had the candle option and it was great. I wanted French tips and no pink on my toes Andrew understood the assignment. Andrew was kind and my toes look great. My cousin also choose the candle option and she wanted French tip and no pink on her toes..... the woman who did her toes put pink and I noticed immediately before she had even finished paining her toe and the lady was like no that's your skin my cousin responded kindly my skin is not pink please remove the pink the lady was like it's not pink and I said it is and she got very irritated. We told her before she even finished two toes. The lady gets up comes back with the file to take the pink off and didn't say anything to my cousin after and you could tell by her body language she was irritated and frustrated. Anyways when she used the paint clear that Andrew did you could see the entire difference. Anyways, besides that the pedicures were good. I had my eyebrows done and the sweet woman who did them was so nice and very gentle. I will go back Feedback for management, when people walk in smile say hello how are you today, when someone doesn't like a color don't argue with the customer and tell them it's there skin color when it's not. I absolutely cannot recommend SOCA Salon in Greeneville Tennessee. They destroyed my hair, I have…read moreto cut it all off, and I have to purchase a wig while it grows out. The stylist made me sign a consent form holding any negative reviews hostage until we spoke - I waited and tried speaking with her today. I spent over $300 for this service and it was unprofessional. I requested a partial refund and she said no. I ended the conversation there as there is no way I would go back for them to 'fix'. I wanted to work towards a light blonde from brown. I understood that it may require multiple visits and was fine working towards that direction. However, my hair was ruined in the one visit. My roots were lemon yellow, the sides were fluorescent orange, the back was yellow with fluorescent orange tips. I had severe breakage, much of my hair is now a frizzy 1 inch in length, and have significant chemical burns on my forehead from bleach being left on my forehead for over an hour - neither of the two ladies there thought to wipe it off my skin. Once the bleach was applied to my hair (roots first) I spent an hour at the sink in the most awkward position as I am short and the chair I was sat in had to be reclined back so my head could reach the skink. However, it was not comfortable because it was vibrating the entire time, the only way I could keep it in recline mode was to have the massage feature activated. it has almost been a week and my neck, back, shoulder, and hips are still sore from the massage feature. The assistant ran water over my head on 8 or 9 separate occasions which is why I think the back was so strange with neon tips. She was situationally washing my hair so it was inconsistent. The assistant does not know how to keep water from entering the ear. She would try to cup the ear to keep the water out but then lifted her hand so the water flooded into the canal, along with all the chemicals. It was horribly uncomfortable. The assistant made mention of this to the stylist which could have been a great learning opportunity but the stylist Tennielle didn't seem to care. The toner used was inconsistent so parts of my hair after toning were purple, along with the neon orange, and the lemon roots. The stylist put the bleach on my roots first, did not use foils, did not cover, it was a mess. I understand there are multiple techniques but the staff did not seem detail oriented at all. I am a 50 year old woman, I have a career, and I deeply regret going to this salon. I need to look professiona. I now look ridiculous and will have to live with this for the next year as my hair was should length. I am going to have to pay more for somebody to cut my hair as half of it has broken to where the predominant length is now an inch long. I am going to have to purchase a wig to be presentable for work. Please fully consider my review before you go to this salon. They do not pay attention to detail and they do not stand by their work.
