I paid over $300, plus a tip, and after getting home and seeing my hair in normal lighting, my roots looked very gold/yellow with a noticeable line where the color did not blend into the rest of my hair. I reached out right away, sent photos, and explained my concerns. The initial suggestion was that additional highlighting may be needed, and I was also told that an assistant could highlight it. After the original result and that proposed correction, I no longer felt comfortable having more chemical work done at the same salon and decided to get another professional opinion. I asked for at least a partial refund since I now have to pay another salon to assess and correct the color, but the salon declined because I did not return for an in-person reassessment. I understand businesses have policies, but as a client, I also think it is reasonable not to feel comfortable returning for additional chemical services after losing confidence in the result and proposed correction. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. I would recommend taking clear before/after photos, asking exactly who will be performing each step of the service, and clarifying the salon's refund/correction policy before booking. I would also recommend asking for a full price breakdown before any service begins. I was not given the full pricing until I checked out, which added to the frustration.

And a claim that my "hair integrity" was paramount according to the owner, but my results were damaged ends and muddy hair color so the "integrity" is just a buzz word for these folks with absolutely NO knowledge of how to maintain hair integrity. No one in this salon has ANY integrity and unfortunately zero talent. They are willing to take your money whether they can achieve your desired results or not. Do your homework and avoid Haven Salon.
