For the table we order the Fried Zucchini as an appetizer and it was perfect. For dinner one in our party ordered the Chicken Piccata off the early bird, another the Mahi Mahi off the regular menu. I went with that myself and was very pleased with my meal. I started with the Creamy Burrata which was served with sliced red and yellow tomato and some greens, and accented with honey and some balsamic vinegar. Such a lovely dish! I enjoyed it very much. Next I had the Shrimp Luciano that Stevie recommended and it did not disappoint either. Big shrimp cooked just right in a nice red sauce with some slivered garlic over sauteed spinach - so yummy! I wanted to eat it all but decided to make two meals out of it and took half home. That way I get to enjoy it again. For my third course I chose the Salted Caramel Gelato and it was smooth, sweet, a little butterscotchy. Cold creaminess in a bowl. This was an amazing meal and I thoroughly loved everything I had to eat. The service made it even better - thank you to Stevie and to the other staff that assisted him. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. What? As if the amount of posted signage was not enough, they leave a 8 1/2 x 11 notice in big black bold type on every table. - This move disincentivizes all servers to provide exceptional service as they know they are getting an automatic tip. This was certainly the case during our visit. All servers were gathered at the end of the bar talking instead of working and out on the floor. - If I was to get exceptional service I'm inclined (having spent 56 years in the business) to leave better than 20%. When I'm forced into a tip, I leave no extra. Good servers lose as a result of poor decisions on the part of management. - The food while tasty, was less than expected from a quantity perspective. A bowl described as Shrimp and Scallops over pasta had 2 scallops and 2 shrimp. We've been going to this location since it opened, unfortunately we will be moving on to another restaurant where the customer is appreciated.
