I had a very urgent health matter that needed immediate attention which was not an emergency. I walked in, explained what was up and the receptionist very professionally and courteously took my info. She brought me back to a room where another equally pleasant and professional healthcare worker took my vitals and moved me to a wound care room. A little time passed but not too much when an NP came in to do what needed to be done. Super professional and very understanding. Took care of it and I was out in less than an hour. Worst experience ever. I had Dr. Phillis and she never called in the prescription so when I went to Walgreens they were searching for the message and nothing. So I called back and she had already left (early). The receptionist Linda could not do anything about it and said I would have to wait until the next day. I went in at 2pm and headed to the Walgreens by 3:40 pm the doctor was gone and they couldn't do anything about it. I needed that medicine right away as I was leaving on a trip the next day. I will never return to this awful urgent care again. Instead I went to a urgent care in Braintree right after and they were great! Don't come here and deal with this horrid place. read more

The younger girl even said if I had will have to come back! I ran down before they closed (probably 5:40) and again she stated you should have got it already. I can't say it enough about this location @ 119 Burgin Parkway,this is the best location and the staff is outstanding from Emily @ the front desk,to the nurses Rosa and Kristen to Doctor James Mensching they are simply the best,your in and out of there in under a half hour,I've been there a couple of times small issues ,but this Urgent Care and the whole Staff are fantastic and very nice from the moment you step in the door to leaving,if you need a prescription they send it your pharmacy for you, since they first opened I have never gone back to the ER,those are for real emergencies!!! read more

I've been here a handful of times and always felt the quality of care was as good, if not better, than I often receive at my PCP. If fact, I saw an MD each time as opposed to any urgent doctor visits where I was seen by a nurse instead (not that, in my opinion, nurses are any less qualified). I would recommend. This place is quick and attentive. They even do X-rays. Huge time saver! I took off one star as the exam room could use a touch of decor. This, of course, doesn't detract from quality of care, rather from the less important aesthetic comfort of the place. read more

Came in for a covid test within two minutes the tech Micheal made a comment about my jacket, looking for an in to launch into and immediately started in on a political diatribe. I asked him if we could just get my medical check done and keep things apolitical. He didn't quit. Told my wife about it and apparently he did the same thing with her not an hour earlier. The last thing I need is someone ruining what is a stressful time to begin with. Just keep your shit to yourself . I checked him on it and he put his tail between his legs and said he was kidding. I have been here a couple times but i think this last time was so bad I can only give 3 stars, and that's being nice. The past two days I have been extremely nauseas and have no energy , to the point I can't even stand for more than a couple of min without feeling sweaty and sick. So I went here today to see if I could get anything for nausea and to make sure I didn't catch strep from my son who had it a week before. After doing a strep test the doctor comes in to say it was negative, and my throat looked fine and didn't really feel sore said would still treat me for it anyways with antibiotics and give me a nausea medication. Comes back with one script and leaves barely in the room a total of 3 min. I notice before I leave I didn't get a nausea medication and had to ask the front desk which the doctor yells from the other side she couldn't give me any because of my other medication ? Which I know is bs because I was given nausea medication before while on the same prescriptions but I wasn't going to sit there and beg this doctor to treat the actual reason I came. So basically it was a complete waste of tome, I got an antibiotic for strep I don't have and she wouldn't take two min to look for a nausea medication I can take with my other medications. So I wouldnt waste your time going to this office. Quincy hospital still has an emergency fast track there and although it may take a little longer your more likely to get help there. Also forgot how last year I had bronchitis that turned into pneumonia because this place wouldn't give me antibiotics so two weeks later I end up in the hospital where they said I should've been put on antibiotics. It's ironic they refuse to give me antibiotics when I actually had a reason but has no problem when no sign of an infection at all? read more

Such a waste of time to be told that there's "nothing wrong with me" after looking at me for 2 seconds when I've had a consistent cough and chest pain for a week. This was my second visit. The first visit I made was for an eye injury. The practitioner who saw me the first time was nice, although she 'scolded' me for not going directly to the eye DR. Whatever, no big deal.. This second visit was something else. I signed in and was seen almost immediately. I was checked in by the medical assistant who took my temp. and blood pressure. The practitioner then came in, looked in my ear and said there was nothing he could do. I have been sick with the flu for over a week and was worried that I had an ear infection coming on. The manner in which he spoke to me was so apathetic and rude, I left the establishment and felt the need to call my husband, because I felt insulted. I don't know how else to describe this but I just felt like there was ZERO effort made to look into my symptoms or empathy. I was seen a week ago and was prescribed TamiFlu which I explained. To add to the already rude way I was being spoken to this DR insisted that I should not have even been prescribed that, because I am not a "high risk". Customer service seems to just not be on the goal board. Will not return. Shame. read more

I went here with my 13 year old step daughter. She had a temperature of 104 that had gone up quickly from 101.5 over a 3 hour period. She is under her father's insurance. Health Express has a "Rule" that with our insurance they need a referral from her PCP!??? What?! why bother with urgent care. I repeat this is their "Rule". We were turned away! Thank God we ended up at PM Pediatrics in Dedham. They are excellent BTW and take the insurance! Lastly I found the front desk people at Health Express very unprofessional. read more

Worst!! A friend went with sinus infection/cold-like symptoms and they gave him a cough suppressant and called it a day, told him that it was a virus and it might take a while for the cough to clear. A couple months later he saw his doctor and she immediately gave him a Zpak when he told her how long he had felt that way. 2 days later he was fine. I had the same thing happen to me a while after that, same symptoms, but I asked for antibiotics and they would not give them to me. The only reason I went there was because my PCP couldn't get me in that day. They gave me allergy meds, a steroid, and a cough suppressant. Needless to say I did follow up with my doctor. She was pissed!! "All that steriod was going to do was delude you into thinking you were better, but you wouldn't have gotten any better." God. Awful. read more

I came (February 2020) for urinary tract infection. When I got my bill, they were charging me for a pregnancy test. They did not ask for my permission to do a pregnancy test and this pregnancy test is not necessary since i am over 50 years old. They keep sending me the bill with the pregnancy test, and I keep sending the bill back for them to correct it (subtract the pregnancy test from the bill). The last bill that I got, the pregnancy test was removed but the bill is still the same. Please don't fool your patients for money. Be truthful. read more

I would never go here again. From the miserable receptionist, to the inappropriate nursing assistant, to the attitude of the MD. A guy walked into the room to take my vitals ( nursing assistant I think, never introduced himself) and started asking me inappropriate questions as to my health history, and medications. I said I would rather speak to someone licensed to provide healthcare and he proceeded to leave the room, turn the corner and talk about me with the other staff. The doctor then came in with an attitude and kept cutting me off while trying to explain the situation. I did not agree with her assessment ( Im an experienced RN in a highly respected trauma center), she stated, "well what do you want then?" with an attitude. She then proceeded to only agree to prescribe me Augmentin, which was an inappropriate antibiotic for my needs, and turn on her heel and leave the room in a huff. She then proceeded to talk about me with the staff outside of the room, which I could hear. I left furious. Highly unprofessional and inappropriate staff with lack of knowledge of scope of practice, and general medicine. I believe Dr. Eng gave me great care, she listened to my concerns and addressed them all. The only thing I didn't like was I wasn't even in the door and the receptionist was asking me have you ever been here, I need your license, insurance etc... no Hello, good morning, nothing. I felt this was not a very welcoming way to start a sick visit. On top of that she charged me $60 for a co-pay when it should have only been $20 and its been a pain trying to get my money refunded. I have chronic sinusitis and have used the Health Express Quincy several times since they opened. I have never had a bad experience there and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. I have always been treated with the utmost professionalism by all parties. I came in once to have my elbow checked out since I was worried I had done something to the bone when I fell. I was so surprised to find out they have an xray machine. They were able to xray it, tell me it was just badly bruised and send me on my way all within 30 minutes. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I have waited hours just to be seen at the CVS Minute Clinic and they have no capacity to do an xray if you need one. read more

This place is a poor excuse for a healthcare facility. First I called to make sure they would take mass health, the rude idiot at the front desk said no we don't accept mass health care plus! There would be a service fee! After 49 minutes on the phone with mass health they told me they are one of their providers so I called back. The woman rudely says, "didn't you just call!? We can't see you with that plan!" I hang up cal the health express in Weymouth (same company) they said of course we do and so does Quincy I am so sorry that woman was rude come on over here! So I then called the Quincy Health Express back and asked to speak to the client manager. I told her how rude the lady at the front desk was and how she is misinformed as to how insurance works. She put me on hold and then told me that girl is wrong and to come on over. Once I get there I was brought back to an exam room, Medical Assistant was great and nice. Then the Dr comes in, doesn't introduce himself just asks for a brief summary of why I am there. Then takes a whole 2 minute examination, and says he is going to prescribe me prednisone (a steroid) and Cough Syrup with codiene and walks out. The fact that he prescribed me prednisone when he stated my lungs sounded clear is just negligence. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I then arrive to get my meds (I'm freakin dying over here mind you!) and the idiot doctor didn't put a reason why he was prescribing the Codiene or get prior authorization from my insurance (which is needed for all narcotics!) So I had to call mass health AGAIN and was told I'd have to call the clinic and have them call mass health. Needless to say I had had enough. I am sick as a dog so I said screw it and paid 30$ out of pocket for the cough syrup. BUT I did call and speak with the office manager again to explain what a ridiculous experience this was and she basically said she doesn't know about anything medical and then said if you want to come back you can! Like uuhhhh no!!!!! Lol I will never return to your bulls!$t clinic again. Thanks for wasting my time, and my money read more

Do not go to this place at all for anything!!! My daughter went there and they said she had allergies and sent her home.... a real doctor diagnosed her with strep throat the next day. They did not send out a strep culture or test for anything else. They did however take our co-pay and charged our insurance company for doing absolutely nothing!! read more

Not satisfied at all!!!! Brought my daughter here because of her hand and was very disappointed. The doctor looked at her hand for 2 minutes told us she didn't need an x-ray and sent us on our way. Later that night she was still complaining of the pain, I took her to the emergency room where they took x-rays and it turns out it was a fracture. She's out of commission from all sports for 4 weeks. Very disappointed, first and last time going there. read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR CREDIT SCORE INTACT. Both myself and my fiancé went here once each to be checked out when we could not go to our regular doctor's office. We each confirmed with the receptionist that all copays etc. were paid before leaving. She said we would receive a bill after the insurance company paid their portion. Well my fiancé NEVER received a bill and only got a notice that his account was sent to collections. I only received a final warning just before my bill was sent to collections. This place obviously doesn't mail out bills and just waits for things to be sent to collections potentially ruining people's credit. This is such a shame because the staff was very nice and the doctor was helpful. read more
