I have been to this doctor one time Dr Mark Thiele.. I went in today for blood test results and to let him know I was sick and see if he could give me anything for it.. but he refused to see me because I was sick! I told them that I had dispatch health come to my house and they tested me for a flu and covid & the test both came back negative, but that made no difference to them. I mean why else do you go to doctor or who else would you go to if you're sick if not your own freaking doctor?? I am a retired medical assistant and i've never heard such ridiculous BS in my life! You know when you go into the field that you're gonna run into sick people, so I don't understand turning them away you away when the only other alternative is another doctor or a hospital. Never too long a wait, it's got plenty of seating, and TVs on. It's quite a drive for me, but for my daughter to see PA Shields this is where we have to go. She's good, so it's worth it. Plenty of parking, a couple crazy homeless people to add spice to the wait. The front desk people always manage to find what they need, but it's always a minute before they figure it out. I've gone here several times, (walk-in and appt with physician) and although the care is quick and efficient with excellent doctors, PAs, nurses and phlebotomy techs, the front office ppl are strange. Over the last few months the girls in the reception area cover there nose and mouths with face masks and when you ask them why they act like you've insulted them when they are the rude ones wearing those masks. It's very uncomfortable to speak to someone wearing a mask and it's outrageous that mgmt allows them to keep their jobs and sit in front and interact with ppl looking like that. read more

I've only used this HCP location as a walk-in clinic. Both times it was for a minor urinary infection. The only reason I disclosed that info is because I don't know if you come in here for anything else, your experience may differ. I was always in and out within the hour. This may not sound great but to me who's walked in and waited for almost three hours at a clinic before for something minor, I think it is a great experience. The office is clean and spacious. I've always encountered nice and helpful staff. I've only encountered PAs and NPs at this location though. Never the MDs themselves. I never encountered an issue with any of them though. They're knowledgeable and listens to your issue. Overall, good walk-in experiences. read more

Run far away and fast! This place is the definition of unprofessional. To begin, the receptionists act like you are inconveniencing them just by being there or calling on the phone. While in the waiting room, about half the time the receptionists will talk about their coworkers and patients within ear shot. About 3 years back, I originally was scheduled to see Dr. Agustin, but saw Dr. Shields instead. I loved her and felt comfortable with her. About 6 months later, just before an appointment I had made a few months before that, I was told Dr. Agustin/ Shields stopped taking my insurance (I'm double insured), but I could see a nurse practitioner named Dr. Rabonivic. I saw her for a year (I warmed up to her as time went by, but not initially), and I constantly had issues with Healthcare partners from that time on. I was then told by my insurance company that my medication was not approved because it was prescribed by a different doctor other than my primary. Then they told me she (Agustin) DOES take my insurance, so I have no clue why I got a call switching me to another Dr in the first place. I also randomly got a bill for $10 after all that time. No explanation has ever been given as to why. I called twice to the billing department and no one ever answers. I left a message to get a call back both times with no luck. They keep telling me I owe them money, but they can't tell me what it's for. I have never paid a copay before or after. Not going to happen. I don't care if it's 0.01, tell me what it's for, or you won't get paid. I made a dr appt in Sept 2017 to see Dr. Rabonovic, couldn't get in until November, and got a call a few days before my appt to let me know she was no longer there. Great. I made an appointment for a different nurse practitioner (because why let people see an actual gen dr?) on their recommendation. I got a call today telling me if I want to see her, I will have to pay $100 because she isn't my primary care dr. Seriously? You couldn't have given me the courtesy of letting me know that I would need to change it over YET AGAIN before my appointment? You call me the day of to let me know? The receptionist was so rude and snotty, I just can't take this place anymore. Congratulations, you chased me away. I hate finding new doctors because it is hard to find a good one, but unless you want the same headaches, find somewhere else. My wife went in to have an ongoing fever treated. When we arrived, the checkin went well and we were seen with a short wait. She was seen Laureen Kleinman (nurse practitioner) by who diagnosed her as having a sinus infection without looking in her nostrils even after my wife requested her to do so. She wrote a very low dose mild anti-biotic to take. After concluding the treatment, my wife's symptoms had not been totally resolved. So she tried to call the clinic to get the RX refilled, and was greeted by an OBNOXIOUS phone center male. During the whole phone call yawned and and yawned like he was bored with the conversation. Basically, he said we will not refill the Rx, you must come back in to do so. My wife asked to speak with the nurse practitioner but was told that was not possible. So, in the mean time, she is stuck with an unresolved health issue. I did a fair amount of research trying to locate a "good" urges care faccillty here in Vegas......this was NOT the one you should choose!! read more

Nurses at the urgent care at 595 W Lake Mead had excellent bedside manner. However, I sent to collections for a co-pay they said I had not paid but actually had credit card receipts for. My doctor left the center and they told me I would be considered a new patient and would have to wait a month to see someone. I went into urgent care once for a ruptured ear drum and I heard the doctor on the other side of the wall say, "why did they send here here, I don't have the equipment to treat her' or something along those lines. The doctor put eardrops down my ear with a ruptured ear drum and it was incredibly painful. My first doctor there was rather rude. read more

Though the primary care doctor I see here is phenomenal (he's not taking new patients, so I won't bother with his name), the place overall needs some coaching with customer service. When you walk in, you are directed to stand behind a sign to protect patient privacy. Even if no one is currently being seen by the registration ladies, you can expect a 5-10 minute wait while they avoid eye contact and focus intently on their computer screens. When they call you over, don't expect a smile or "Hello" or any other niceties; their job is not to make you feel welcome or cared for. Their job is to make you wait. On my most recent visit, I sat in the lobby waiting for my "urgent" care appointment for about 2 hours. Every time I asked how much longer it would be, I was greeted with a roll of the eyes and assurances that there was only one person ahead of me and about 15 more minutes to wait. When I walked away, the ladies would whisper to each other in hushed tones while still avoiding eye contact with any pesky patients. It was not very comforting. The bright spot is that I have always been seen by caring medical professionals who have taken their time to provide an accurate diagnosis and who have given me high quality treatment. As a matter of fact, if they would just improve their front office reception (you know, smile, say hi, and generally make you feel like a valued client) and give more accurate wait/appointment times, I'd be happy to give them 5 stars. But when you disregard your patients feelings and time starting at the door, it leaves a lot of ground to make up once you're in the actual room waiting (again) to be seen. I'd still give them a try, but be prepared to be frustrated before you get any relief. read more

I am a retired physical therapist who has worked in a countless number of facilities in Hawaii and California and this is by far the WORST. If you are a new patient you will not even find the building because it is on an entirely different side street! I called the front desk and call center to give me directions and they couldn't even tell me how to get there. Stupid is not the word for the employees here. When I finally made it there by going up and down Lake Mead a dozen times I was late and they could not take me. Dr. Tsang was supposed to be my new PCP and refill my meds. I was late, so he did not refill my blood pressure meds! Both of my parents died of heart attacks so I started to go into an anxiety attack and had to get out of there. They could care less. Bye! This place, operated by a doctor Wade Huey is a scam. they also run an Urgent Care where they can charge you double and you are treated by a Physicians Assistant! Pay more for less. I know what they are doing here. I could read them like the palm of my hand. What a SCAM! So, I couldn't get my meds and I complained because now Dr. Tsang didnt have any openings for over a month. I would have to come back to Urgent Care to see a P.A. to get my meds because I was OUT for 2 days! You could tell that they despised me for complaining. Did they have a plan? Of course. It was too late to change my PCP so I had to go back to that hell hole of zombies and criminals. They had me fill out a TON of paperwork which I knew was unnecessary for Urgent Care, and then they brought me back into a HOT waiting room. I waited for over an hour and knew they were never going to come into the room. I took off and left. Not a worker in site as all were hiding out at the front desk doing NOTHING. This is a scam as they made sure I paid a $40.00 co pay before I went into the waiting room. I never heard anything for any of the staff. THIS SO CALLED HEATHCARE FACILITY IS HORRIBLE. When I finally got health insurance, I decided it would be high time to start seeing a doctor regularly. As the Healthcare Partners chain was one of the places that accepted Health Plan of Nevada, and it was close to where I was living at the time, it seemed like the ideal choice to go to. For about two years now, I have been seeing Dr. Payos at this location. I have read a good many complaints about the front desk/customer service stuff, but honestly, I have never had any serious problems with anyone. The medical assistants and doctor are always patient and checks on any concerns that I may have, and the doctor is willing to put in referrals to specialists as need be, which has happened a few times in the last few months. There are often waits, both in terms of how long it takes to see the doctor when you get to the facility, though I have gotten back early a few times, and in terms of how long the wait between appointments can be; sometimes I have had to book appointments a few months in advance (but again this varies). The only major issues I have stem from the procedures required to go and see a specialist. Doing so requires getting a referral from Healthcare Partners, and sometimes this takes longer than it should. Some specialists require additional blood work and the like; I have done the tests at times only to be told I have to do more tests, or to have my appointment with the specialist rejected because I "didn't get all the right tests done" despite them being the ones ordered by my doctor. If the referral process to see specialists could be streamlined and improved, it would make this whole operation much better. Overall though, I am satisfied with my Healthcare Partners experiences, and look forward to continuing to go in the future. read more

Took my daughter here last night about 15 minutes before they closed because she slammed her thumb in my car door. The doctors and the nurses both were friendly but I'm mainly doing this review because the receptionist there really needs to learn some customer service. I apologized many times because I knew they were about to close but I could most definitely tell I was inconveniencing her. Every time I apologized she pretty much acted as if I wasn't there and didn't even acknowledge me. My daughters well being is a little more important than the time you are going to get out of work. One of the worst places as far as service. I have waited over 2 hours past my appointment time. I was told "well the doctor just takes time with patients" which is fine but they should schedule longer appointments then! I have been literally forgotten in a back room for over an hour, while everyone went to lunch. This sucks because I actually like one of the doctors here, Dr Shields. She communicates well, asks questions, treats me like an adult, and is knowledgeable. The admin staff are not mean but they need to hire more staff or not schedule appointments so close together. Last time I had bronchitis and went in, the urgent care doc flat out yelled at me - said I was "being sick too often" and "needing antibiotics too often" and "going to get an antibiotic resistant bug and die if I kept needing antibiotics" without asking any questions about my life or health and without offering any solutions whatsoever. This place is a JOKE!!!! This is not my first post here about their "care." I need to renew the referral to my oncologist (a yearly requirement by my insu co.). I even had my old referral letter to help with the process. Well they mad a referral for a PHYSICAL THERAPIST! I do not know who actual made the referral the DR. of just a "staff member" but this is the 2nd time I have had problems with them on referrals. I had to waste a lot of my time with my insurance co. to get things straightened out. Last time the SCREWED--UP my referral I went there and tried to get an office manager/supervisor to find out what happened and they told me that they did not have anybody like that there! I asked for a name and number to call and they did not know who to call for help. NO ONE WAS ABLE TO TELL ME HOW/WHY THEY SCREWED--UP my referrals. Front office staff I found to be very rude, ignoring patients as they came in as they were to busy "talking/visiting" with each other. The PA I was assigned to started out to be very nice but as we started to go over things she became rude, argumentative. Was discussing result and she indicated she was looking at old test results not the current; seems the current (within 1 year) was somehow not in my records on the computer system they use. I had an appointment scheduled for 11am, for which I arrived about 10 mins early. The lady at the front desk (sandy blonde hair, black glasses) has the WORST attitude in the world. I fill out my paperwork, turn it in to the lady, and wait. For 1 hour 30 mins without a word spoken to me. Finally, an assistant calls for me, takes my temperature, weighs me, and asks me how tall I am (aren't you supposed to measure that?). He tells me to sit in this room and the doctor will be with me. After waiting another 15 minutes, I leave my room and ask to reschedule my appt. Attitude lady starts getting a bad attitude and even goes as far as saying "WOOSA". She then said with great attitude and annoyance, "She just left her room, that's why you can't reschedule it!" Waa waa waa, anything is possible. If you can't handle the stress of your job, take a xanax or quit. There was another lady nice enough to help me and reschedule my appt. for the next morning. I thanked her and left. The only reason I had to leave my appt. was because I borrowed my mom's car and she needed it for an interview. Besides, who wants to stuck in a waiting room for almost 2 hours? Not this chick. I return the next morning, and the happier lady greets me with a smile and sets me up. It's amazing how one positive person can change the environment of the establishment. I met with Dr. Andriola (he's a very, very funny and honest guy), took my x-ray with another pleasant lady, and was shortly out on my way. Walking out, I saw the she-devil. I didn't bother to look her way. I wanted to cross myself when I walked by. The only reason I would recommend this place is because of Dr. Andriola and the helpful employees there. As for the chick with glasses, you're in the wrong profession if you can't deal with people and road bumps along the way. The Walmart down the street might be perfect for you though. read more

I won't go back. Here's why. 1: Misdiagnosis: One doc I won't name couldn't figure out what was wrong with me on one occasion so she writes 2 scripts, recommends tests, and sends me on my way $120 lighter for the visit, plus $130 in script costs. When her scripts fail to work I snap a picture of the problem and send it to a family doctor / Hospital Chief Of Staff we know in Nebraska. She immediately diagnosed it, recommended over the counter stuff and I was healed in 72 hours. And when I told the COS what the scripts were she laughed and said Seriously? She gave you THAT? You wasted your money! 2: Book a 15 min appoint to make sure you cover your issues, she rushes through and doesn't seem to really listen to you. 3: Won't renew even simple scripts for $4 meds without an expensive doctor's visit. 4: Loves to make referrals and especially to labs. Lots and lots of lab work. 5: Front desk staff: Overworked and it shows. In short, Las Vegas healthcare already has a bad rap. This clinic does not help the perception problem one bit. read more

Not to many people waiting this time compared to last time I came here. Even with the low # of people waiting, it still took like an hour for me to get called into the back. I don't know if this was due to the doctor I was seeing had more patients than the rest or what, but I hate how every doctor office seems to take forever to get you seen. Why did I schedule my appointment for 3:30 when I wasn't going to be seen until 4:30 anyways? I could have stayed the extra hour at work, but instead im sitting in a waiting room. Aside fromt he waiting everything else was ok. The doctor was pretty fast with talking to me and getting me my prescriptions and sending my on my way. Stay away from this place. For 2 weeks I've tried to get a prescription refilled and time after time nothing is done. Now I'm completely out and they are taking their sweet time getting it filled. Going off my meds cold turkey is not only dangerous for my health but very uncomfortable. This shouldn't have gotten to this point. My experience on 5/2/2017 was very similar to that of Karla C. I went to this Urgent Care as recommended by Humana. The front desk staff were pleasant, and at mid-day on a Tuesday the wait was very brief. However, Dr. Folayan did not listen when I described the source of pain, on the side of my tongue. She simply looked down my throat and said she saw nothing wrong. She suggested I continue to take Aleve and perhaps see an ENT. The following day I went to the Urgent Care on Wynn Blvd. The doctor there actually LOOKED on the side of my tongue, saw the sizable lesion and diagnosed the problem immediately. He said he was surprised that any doctor could miss such an obvious matter. If Dr. Folayan plans to continue a career in medicine I suggest she LISTEN to a patient's complaint and not be so dismissive. read more

I switched doctors last year. It has been less than a year. However, getting my refills has been a problem. I have contacted them every week for the last few months. The office has given me the same answers. "The Doctor is not in the office today or he is with other patients, but I have put in a request so he can approve them tomorrow when he gets a chance. We will contact you when it is being sent to the pharmacy." It has been over a month. I just called again today. The lady on the phone just told me the same thing I was told last night by a different lady. What is going on with this office? My wife is having the same problem with her medical records. Her oncologist requested her records two weeks ago. Last week Friday she filled out a consent to send her records to the oncologists office. She had an appointment today. Her oncologists office still hasn't received the records. It is frustrating dealing with this office. Can you please send my refills to the pharmacy today?
