This is not a bad review for this place. I do believe under the correct circumstances this place could be invaluable for someone looking to relieve stress and or manage pain . However, I just had total knee replacement surgery. All of those things would be fantastic additions to physical exercises tailored towards rebuilding and rehabilitating one's legs post knee replacement surgery. That work cannot be achieved solely on a massage table. To me this place is misleading due primarily to the fact that it's called WELLINGTON PHYSICAL THERAPY AND ACUPUNCTURE. There is no facility to provide physical activity. It has 9 massage tables where they provide electro therapy, acupuncture, massage and cupping. If that's what you're looking for then look no further. I have been searching for acupuncturist for quiet some time to help ease some aches And pains. I found this place on Zoc doc and was pleased to know they accept my insurance. From the very first visit they have been easing the aches. There is no wait, they take care of you right away. Chelsea, the acupuncturist is absolutely amazing, she always asks if your comfortable and checks on you. The masseuse is extra special, OMG! For starters, I made a very last minute appointment, due to neck issues and pain in my back. Not only did I receive wonderful and thought out treatments, but the relief I had in my back and neck was even better than I had hoped. Although providing complimentary massage and sucking cups as business owner stated, she definitely doesn't hire right knowledgeable PT professionals. Patients' profiles and diagnosis were not read to come up a holistic treatment plan. Patient's condition was not evaluated properly nor communicated by professionals at each session. The presence of physical therapist is more for the claim of insurance rather than treating patients professionally. Has been a customer for many years. This shop is specialized in a mix of physical therapy and traditional herb medicine. It is one of the largest of this kind (if not the largest) in the city. I have shopped around and have a very high standards because I need to overcome a very complex medical issues which western medicine has limited results. Since I am originally from Asia, I have a good understanding about the strengths of Chinese medicine and how to select a good one. It is uneasy to find someone good because Chinese medicine is not a systematic trained education. A lot relies on professional judgement so experience is very important. Also, it cannot be compared with western medicine which is fast but with a lot of side effects. If you want to pursue alternative medicine, then respect and follow their specific way to treat patients. It is very difficult to find a good one in town that is very knowledgeable and can answer difficult questions. Regarding the environment, good enough is enough. It is not a western medicine clinic. It is a much better environment than Asia. Beside, having a lot of people running around means there are a lot of patients. My experience has been similar to the previous reviewer. I had actually been here before, but stopped coming soon after Victor left. Back then, I felt that while some masseurs were ok (eg, Victor), others were hopelessly clueless and didn't really seem to know anything. All I really needed was massage and cupping -- which really helps relieve my back pain -- but sometimes masseurs barely touched my skin while, other times, they'd just leave cups on my back without any suction. WTF? It seems like they are under different management and renovated and all. When I went back there recently, they also asked me for $75 up front because they had to check with my insurance -- this in spite of the fact I had already dropped earlier by to verify that my new insurance would cover everything (+ copay). UPDATE: I'm adding another star. I received all my $75 in later visits and it also seems my treatment greatly improved after a brief talk with the management (they were extra attentive). read more

I'm an athlete who's accustomed to pain and injuries, as well as undergoing physical therapy. I was suffering from bilateral sciatica and lower back pain. The PT's I saw were not satisfactory. After evaluating my condition, Manaliben Patel, prescribed a treatment plan that was very effective. Other PT's during our sessions stretched me and that was basically it. Manaliben understood that I was flexible and stretched at home daily, and a better use of our sessions was designing a strengthening routine. There has been a reduction in pain of 80% within two weeks. I'm impressed by her knowledge, professionalism, and appreciate her explaining in a manner that's easily understood. I've been going to Wellington for a few months. Many things have been consistent: an attentive staff, thorough treatment, and a welcome environment. And all to good effect. Earlier in the year I worked with a conventional physical therapist and my shoulder injury in some ways seemed to get worse. Through acupuncture, cupping, massage and physical therapy, all here at Wellington, I'm now able to mover my arm freely without much pain. I was waiting for the receptionist to figure out my insurance plan. They speak Mandarin to each other. If you know that building there is a lot of foot traffic and medical offices. These guys are amazing! I went here because I had a sharp pain in my right leg that felt like it could be related to running. It would pop up every time I ran and even sometimes when I was still. Friends thought it sounded like an IT band injury. Anyways, I had always wanted to try accupuncture. I had done it a few years prior--just two sessions to help with insomnia and had some success with it, but this time it only took two sessions to already feel the results. My leg is much stronger, the injury is reduced, and I feel like I am a real believer in the power of eastern medicine. The staff is friendly, and direct. Wellington PT has been a life saver for me. My experiences have always been positive. The front desk staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The acupuncturists, Nikki, Cindy, Karen and a male acupuncturist (unfortunately, can't think of his name at the moment.) are the best acupuncturists I've experienced. They are authentic. They truly care about your well-being and do their best to treat and alleviate the symptoms/issues your experiencing. The acupuncturists are highly skilled in their profession, gentle, calm and professional. Marty the PT takes time and care to understand my issues and provides thoughtful and viable options for recovery. The professionals that conduct the PT related massages (Sophia, Jenny, Yan and Jack) have a keen understanding of the body. They seem to be very well trained, as they are all highly skilled in their area of expertise. I let them know my issues and they take great thought and care to meticulously alleviate the pains as best as possible during the PT massage. This part of my treatment has also helped me to identify the issues I did not realize or may not have taken seriously so that I can focus on improving them. The office space is clean and cozy. In lieu of individual rooms, it is one open space, with medical beds separated by curtains. That being said, you may be able to hear the patient that is next 'door' to you. I'm focused on my treatment so this does not bother me. But if your impatient, have low tolerance and are unpleasant, then this is not the place for you. However, if you are serious about your health and well-being, then I highly recommend Wellington PT. Please note that this business accepts qualifying insurances. The service was extremely bad, especially the receptionist who speaks Spanish and massagers asked me for tips. I have never believed a rehab office need to tip medical assistant personnels, it just hard to believe. One message session is $75 for 10 minutes, it is very pricey. I had been there 4 times, and not planing to back there ever again. I am strongly recommended everyone not to go there, the amount of money and time that you spend does not worth the service which you get. A Star is too much for the service that I had, I would love to give NO Star to the service that I had. read more

I went to here because I got neck pain, and my friend recommended this place for me. Fortunately, my insurance did cover the physical therapy. I got one section of treatment here. Which includes massage, cupping, and electric stimulation. First off I want to say, I love this place. Every process really worked for me. The massage, that was an amazing experience. The massagist is very nice and professional. Although only 15 mins, but it really relieved my neck pain. The cupping was so cool, I got really dark circle marks on my painful areas, they tell me this signifies that toxins have left body. I will come back and continues my treatment. read more

The massage and acupuncture are ok. However, the physical therapist, Sam, doesn't teach you how to do stretches and just gives you a piece of paper with the stretches. The receptionists are rude and don't know what they're doing. My insurance covers physical therapy, but they wanted me to pay $75 up front because they weren't sure if the insurance company would pay them. I think that's illegal to ask for money like that when the insurance covers it. Then they tell me that they need to bill me first before the insurance can pay for it. They just need to deal with the insurance directly and not do shady things like this. read more
