For starters, it's just one large room divided up into little sections along the walls and in the middle of varying types of play. In addition, there's a decent amount of the supplies and props that just seem to be lower quality. Again, my toddlers certainly did not mind any of these changes but sure how well it would hold an older child's attention.

No one could produce a dress code that said showing your bully button or midriff would result in you being told to 'cover up' and humiliated. I cancelled my membership on the spot. Someone from the Y did reach out to me afterwards... not to apologize but to defend their right to pick and choose what is 'acceptable' attire and what is not. Unreal. Women in EVERY GYM will show midriff from time to time. And so what??? If men can show nipples or wear no shirt at all, what is the problem? Misogyny at its finest. Btw, people who were around me when I was approached and told to cover up were absolutely in shock... I had on sweatpants and a workout tank top with my belly button showing and was more covered up than they were. They didn't get it, either.

Recently did the swimming class for 2 year olds and I must say it was fantastic…read more. Each week there was a different teacher, so each week was different. Nilsson my son really loved getting in the pool and learning a few things! They did songs, and taught them some safety things, and did some swimming and jumping in the pool all by themselves! He liked the jumping into the pool best I think! Parents are in the pool with the kids and its a really fun half hour class that always ends with some free swimming! Locker rooms are super nice by the pool and they have swimsuit dryers which I had never seen before! This cost is extra, but you can take these classes even without a membership! Good stuff!
