When it comes to having someone come into my home, it is important that they give me a reasonable time-frame in which to expect them, that they treat me and my home with respect, and that they do a good job. Marshall was great in all of these areas. He sent text message reminders of my appointment and also texted to let me know when he was within an hour of arrival. Upon arrival, he put shoe covers on this shoes and promptly began discussing the job and my expectations, then he got to work. Marshall runs an excellent service in Healthy Carpets. I hired him for a move-out clean in an apartment where I lived with cats for five years and the previous tenant had dogs. On an old, worn berber carpet this spells disaster, especially since the carpet was not that well cleaned upon my move-in five years back. Was moving into a new apartment and wanted the rugs professionally cleaned and bathroom tile steamed. The job had to be done over the weekend as the furniture was going to show up on Monday and the rugs had to be dry in time. Using yelp I found and called 3 places. The first place did not work on weekends (really?). The second place never bothered to call back. Marshall responded that he while he worked weekends, Saturday was already booked but offered to come over that Sunday morning. Sold! After looking at the job and answering all my questions he began to clean. The carpets came out so clean that the room actually looked brighter than before. The tile cleaning also looked great. The price was reasonable and I am a happy customer. Side story: as Marshall was setting up the equipment, a random guy who was just walking by stopped to say hello. Turns out he was also a customer and had glowing reviews of Marshall's work. How many times has a stranger gone out of his way to recommend a contractor? He was professional, pleasant, informative and helpful. My two dachshunds had turned the landing, which is carpeted in a pale stone color carpet, into a urine patch. There were a number of large, yellow patches on it despite my efforts to get them out with various pet cleaners. He managed to get them out and the stairs and landing looks fantastic.
