The slight bitterness of the broccoli rabe paired beautifully with the rich, well-seasoned sausage. I grew up in Danbury, Connecticut and am no stranger to delicious Italian food. Living in the South for as long as I have, it's really hard to find an Italian restaurant down here that can deliver on any pasta dish that doesn't use tomato sauce. Needless to say, this dish was heavenly. For dessert, I ordered an espresso and the lemon gelato, which turned out to be both delicious and memorable.
