In the Bronx, there aren't many healthy food options available. Healthy fresh makes me feel somewhat healthy when I crave a salad. When i want a chicken salad, this is where I come. Everything looks and tastes pretty fresh and is quite good with very reasonable prices on their salads. However, I do not like that there is a charge for me using my card to pay. I would've like to have been informed before hand of charging my card only to find out after that there is. However, next time I know now to always pay cash to avoid that extra charge. You can pick a good amount of items for around $7 for the salad and then you can obviously add more (and pay anywhere from an additional 50 cents to $2.50 depending on what extras you get). This place is a gamble each time. The few times I've stopped by and ordered in person my smoothies and food they have been a hit! But when I order from office near by( which is often for breakfast) that's where it's a gamble. Ordered breakfast recently paid extra for avocado and it was a truly disgusting. I Understand you cannot get a perfect one each time, maybe even a little discoloration I can eat around( which I have dozens of times with their salads) / but they put what looked like 1/4 of an avocado sliced up pretty like an accordion. AND IT WAS DISGUSTINGLY ROTTEN. what part of the business is this, they could have easily given me a call and said they did not have any avocado right now, completely disrespectful that someone sliced that up with a design and topped my meal with it.
