Was having issues with those little black jumping spiders and ants at our office. Building is old so we weren't expecting a complete miracle but a week in and not a single critter! Guy who came out was personable and knowledgeable. He was in and out, handling business without making you feel like another burden in his day (I hate those kinds of vendors). And the icing on the cake is my dog who comes to the office everyday is safe to roam as if nothing happened. For me, it's giving A+! read more

I would not use this company again. Their inspectors are fine/nice but the have the worst communication when it comes to billing, booking times, and dealing with receptionist. They refuse to book appts ahead of time / or have a consistent schedule, which is not good for working professionals. Perhaps it's because I'm in Atlanta and not Acworth. read more

Although several years with this company were fine, it only took one incident to change all that. I hired them to treat termites I had in my home several years ago. As other companies do, they charge a yearly fee to "renew" the contract after treating the home for termites. Mind you, for $150 they don't come and spray or anything, they just check to make sure there is no active termite damage. My issue is that after years of paying this $150 fee for them to just peek around the outside of my home, I needed a letter from them stating that my home was free of termites for the sale of my home. AFTER they came to my home and peeked around it for about 5 minutes, they informed me that ON TOP OF THE ANNUAL FEE I would have to pay $85. This is a standard form letter that takes all of about a minute to put in my name / address. Since it is a small business and I like supporting small businesses, I was able to speak to the owner, Patrick, directly and tried to reason with him as to why it was absurd to have to pay for this on top of an annual fee. As a small business owner myself, I never gouge my customers, instead offer fair prices for my work and hoped he would be fair as well. No such luck. So disappointed with this policy. It's too bad as I have friends and family members in the area that regularly seek my advice for companies such as these, but I can't and won't recommend them. read more

I have been using Healthy Home for a few years....I only have good things to say about them!! They are not pushy on the services they offer. I got a fair and accurate assessment of the services I needed.They are a fair price, friendly, and they show up when they say they will!! Last summer a few squirrels decided to make our attic their new home. I called them panicked not knowing what to do. They sent out someone THE SAME DAY to take care of the squirrels. I hesitate to write this review but from all angles this was a terrible experience. After my first treatment I saw MORE live roaches than the 9 months prior to the treatment. I called to see if they could swing by to do a touch up and they would not. Literally I was like come back, I will pay you, just make the bugs go away. And they would not. The communication was consistently and issue. NOW the reason I'm writing this review, I ended up moving from 1 location to the next in between the 3 month check ins. Apparently they had without my knowledge scheduled the 3 month follow up without letting me know. They left me no message. They did not email, they didnt leave a voicemail. I literally do not have a voicemail inbox so you actually CANNOT leave me a voicemail. They just came by treated a house I DID NOT LIVE IN and charged me. Honestly. Honest to god, I am so mad. I understand that they did perform a service ( for someone else) and they do need to pay their employees and cover cost of goods etc. But I am so mad. Like I want to cry. Cause now i dont have money to cover the pest control in the house I ACTUALLY LIVE IN. So, yah, i rarely if ever do this to small business as i know reviews matter. But if a business wants a recommendation from me, i would expect either good customer service. good rates or good actual service. And this is 0 out of 3. read more

This is the absolute worst company to attempt business with. In the midst of selling my home, I reached out to several companies for a termite bond. Healthy Home was one of 6. Our current provider for pest control would not initially provide the bond to new seller since we have a vapor barrier in the crawl space.We had two other companies that declined to treat due to spray foam as well. With closing getting near, I sought three more companies to assess situation. They were all scheduled to come. I signed a "service contract" with Healthy Home that outlined the cost if I were to chose this company. The others just agreed to come and proceed if they could safely bond the house. NO CONTRACT needed. In the midst of all of this transpiring, my current provider was able to meet the owner of the vapor barrier company and agreed that they could offer the bond. I called all other companies to cancel initial inspection and they gladly suspended. Healthy Home president, Patrick, called me back and stated that I was bound to this service agreement when he didn't even provide a service. He stated he was still going to charge my card $995. Before I signed, I scrolled through service contract and there was no cancellation verbiage that would deter one from signing. There was no mention of cancellation. After I insisted that I wasn't paying the $995, Patrick started wheeling and dealing for what he would recoup. He has charged us $250 for zero services. This is obvious that there is no policy about cancellation. I advise never doing business with this company. If they are that concerned with losing one customer over a legit issue, they are not busy enough! The customer is ALWAYS right. They clearly do not operate on this policy. Terrible. read more
