Teresa is super accommodating with our travel schedule, and works to be flexible when our days/times have changed for drop off or pick-up. We appreciate it so much. She seemed very nice. She was very apologetic. She said she never noticed my phone messages or emails. The business was having technical difficulties and she assured me the problem was an aberration. My 7 year-old Maltese, Frederick spent this last year being walked twice a week by several of the staff at HOTH. I receieved gracious notes, he had the opportunity to meet other dogs in the neighborhood, and I was always treated in a caring, professional, and thoughtful manner. Fred also made two stays at the Bed and Biscuit, being cared for round the clock by HOTH staff. I have NEVER boarded my dog, so leaving him with someone outside of family and close friends was a choice I made very carefully. The cost for walks and overnight stays was reasonable and something I could afford living on the very small budget of a graduate student. I always felt wonderful knowing Fred was getting some love and attention during my long days at work. I can't recommend their services enough to coworkers and friends with animals. One of the only reasons I am sad to be leaving the Albany area for a new job in St. Kitts, is not getting to work with Hounds on the Hudson!

We have been coming here for two weeks and every day we are greeted with smiles. When I come to pick him up he is always having too much fun and never wants to go home. The staff here always go above and beyond. They give me a full report on how his day went and let me know of any concerns. I am even fairly certain that they gave my little guy a (free) bath. I work around the corner in Albany, so it's super easy to drop her off before work and pick her up on my way home. The daycare gang is all dogs under 40lbs at the Albany location, and I can tell my dog has played a ton by how sleepy she is when we get home! The staff is super friendly and kind, and they all take great care of my dog every time she is there. A couple weeks ago, my dog was a little hesitant to get in the mix with the other dogs first thing in the morning, so the guy working picked her up and hung out with her for a little to ease her into the day - so sweet! They have a great backyard so I know my dog is getting some quality outdoors time, too. I love following them on Instagram because they post cute videos of my dog and have taken some adorable glamour shots of my dog. Such a great place, reasonable prices, and confidence that my dog is safe and happy while she is there.

This the reason for my call to see if you have services for my pet and would be inappropriate facility his diagnostic needs. She was abrupt and rude. It's fine if you don't have a certified exotic veterinarian, but you don't be snappy and dismissive! I called another facility that also couldn't help me with my pet, but she was kind and patient and still very helpful to try to find something for . After scheduling the week I needed the sitter via online/email, Lori (the owner) arranged a free "appointment" to meet my boy, go over various insurance/pet emergency/ home tour / info with my husband and I. She was extremely nice and pleasant, and I knew within 5 minutes that she was going to get along great with my 5 year old male, Diego. Diego tends to be quite shy, but warmed up with Lori during the week that I was out of town. She left a daily diary of her time with Diego, and also texted updates (with photos) to me throughout the week. I have never felt so at ease while away from my precious pet. I wasn't worried about him at all, and was able to enjoy my family at Christmastime. The rates are extremely affordable for the amount of attention 20 Toes gives to the furry little creatures. While you are away, a daily diary of the time spent with your pet is left, and you can also receive text updates and pictures. Seeing my diabetic and skittish cat snuggling with his pet sitter and playing with his cat toys provided such peace of mind. Quite possibly the nicest part of 20 Toes is that when I came home, the litter boxes were clean, the food and water dishes were full, and I had two very happy cats. For the peace of mind and the outstanding care that is provided, 20 Toes is worth every penny.
