I will give credit where credit is due his team did a nice job on my siding and roof replacement but after spending tens of thousands of dollars and signing a contract to remodel my kitchen, put in new staircases and hardwood floors throughout my house (that's where I went wrong and the stress began) he offered to redo the roof on my small shed for $450. $450 for something that would have taken 30 mins to do. Really? His team was there, he had the extra material and all the business we contracted him to do he couldn't afford one concession? As we move into the interior remodel things get progressively worse. I could write a book about all the wrong doings but here are some excerpts of the most unbelievable occurrences: Note: you will notice that all communication with Mark was via text as he was never onsite and believe it or not he never even came to see the finished job. The texts are another story, I can't believe that a service provider would say the nastiest, obnoxious thing in writing. I have a huge file - you never know when you may need evidence 1) We agreed on a price to replace my existing flooring in 5 rooms and replace with hardwood floors. Which to me means rip up existing flooring, level and prep floor and lay new flooring. Well it didn't mean that same thing to him. He charged me more $ to remove the existing hardwood floor before lay the new floor (which I paid) and then wanted to charge me more $ to level the floor after he removed the ceramic tiles (which after an unprofessional, nasty ping pong of texts I refused to pay) 2). I wanted my pendant lights centered over my island which the carpenter sketched out on the sub flooring. Well the electrician he contracted missed the mark by 4 1/2" lengthwise and width wise. When I texted him about it he questioned my credibility and said "weren't you there when he was doing the work? ". I guess he thought I should be the acting contractor and pay him for my services. And he demonstrated annoyance about having to fix the problem now that the ceiling was already installed. He viewed this as being my fault. 3. After the hardwood floors and cabinets were installed he installed the kick heater under the kitchen sink cabinet instead of having a plumber do it (cutting corners). Well it sprung a leak that went unnoticed for 2 day; warping the floor. As a result everything had to be deinstalled, new floor ordered and installed - delaying completion a week. 4. Per our contract he was to buy the paint and paint the new kitchen. Since the adjoining room needed to be painted he offered to paint them as well. His painter suddenly become ill so instead of hiring another painter by trade he had a non-trade person paint - he didn't sparkle any hole and when I questioned it he had to text Mark before patching the holes. Mark told him to take pics of the hole because he was only responsible for the new walks he installed so if the hole were in the adjoining rooms he was not going to fix them. What?? If you offer to do a job should you do it properly - I don't think that's unreasonable. Well the guy did it anyway but it was an unnecessary argument. Also I should add the guy showed up with 1 can of ceiling paint - no drop clothes or paint brushes. I had to buy the paint and provide the tools. As per our contract Mark was supposed to install my new staircases, finish the treads and banisters and sparkle/paint the risers (which he charged me extra for). He installed the staircases, and hired someone to finish the treads but didn't sparkle and paint the riser - I had to do it myself and certainly didn't get a refund. When the guy who finished the stair treads he scratched the newly installed wrought iron balusters. When I texted Mark about it he responded with "give me a break with your scratches". In the end 7 balusters has to be replaced and he had to pay.

They installed all new aluminum drip edge and ice and water shield and felt buster synthetic paper for that extra protection that brings comfort and security. The guys showed up early in morning and worked hard all day at a steady pace to have the job completed before nightfall. The guys were very respectful and did an amazing job with the roof and the cleanup. The boss Mark was very pleasant and knowledgeable with response to our questions and concerns. Be careful! Get a quote in writing, the price was predatory. They also requested payment in cash or Zelle, which I found notable. I don't know how good they cleaned yet, but I have never heard of such a fee for a cleaning in which one person has charged $150/hr for 3 hours for a studio.

After installation I noticed two chips, which I accepted because we were right in the middle of Covid and I didn't know what else to do, but they neglected to mention that the small chip could eventually result in a full-fledged crack which is what happened. I don't know if or how this can be fixed because I have not been able to communicate with the owner. The cost was over $8000 and now the owner, German, refuses to take my many many calls or respond to my emails. I even asked my contractor to speak with him, but still no communication from German. At first we were vetting them…read moreand a few others out and we liked that they were local, the gentlemen who quoted us was sincere, and Michelle the office/sales person assured us we were in good hands. So we decided to move forward with the move because we trusted them. The actual movers themselves were all very good, prompt, and very experienced. We felt like we hit the jackpot as Michelle assured us anything we needed she would take care of us which they did in the beginning to earn our business. When she quoted us hourly rates she said that whatever isn't used we did not have to pay for. Therefore my wife and I worked very hard to get rid of any excess in our old house so that it will help reduce the workload and expense of moving. We moved out of our old home, storage our goods for two months, and moved to our new home with Kipatrick Moving, & Storage. It wasn't until the final move that all of a sudden Michelle said they required a certified check when previously deposit and initial move I had always written them with a regular check. I didn't think anything of it however Michelle said that we must get them a certified check in order for her team to start moving things into final destination. I was annoyed by this already however went to the bank and did as she said. When I came back the movers started moving and did so from 9am and worked until 4pm being a total of 7 Hours which we paid for 8. They charged me for a full 8 hours therefore I reached back out to Michelle via email to ask her about the one hour reimbursement and 5 emails later no reply back her since the job is done and they took my certified check. I even called her out saying she was dodging the question of reimbursement for the one hour. To me it wasn't the one hour reimbursement money it was the honor system that they promised security and fairness and they did not honor what they said. As a business owner you must always try to figure out a way to take care of your customers, and I do not feel dodging your customers was the right way to deal with the situation. I wish I could give higher stars for the actual movers but the final straw for me was the non response back from Michelle and not even a courtesy to say they have no intentions of reimbursement of the final hour.
