However, she recently moved to Santa Clarita to be closer to us and we took her to this office today. According to her, this is the nicest, most professional and friendly office staff with all the up-to date equipment. Her hearing aid stopped working. It was purchased at a different audiology department. Audiology Associates sent the hearing aid out for repairs and contacted the previous business where it was purchased to get the most up to date records. The staff communicated regularly with my mother-in-law and kept her informed during the entire process. The hearing aid was fixed a week sooner than expected. It was very easy to make the appointments. Once the new settings were dialed in they told her she could come in any time without an appointment for any type of adjustments. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to work with such a professional and friendly business.

Unfortunately, the most disappointing part was the doctor's tone and attitude. When I tried to explain my symptoms and timeline, he repeatedly interrupted me and dismissed my explanation, even accusing me of being wrong about when my symptoms began. As a doctor, having empathy, patience, and understanding is essential--especially when dealing with patients in pain. I left the appointment feeling unheard, rushed, unresolved, and honestly taken advantage of given the amount I paid. To clarify, I did not personally schedule the appointment, a family member did, as I was in significant ear pain at the time. My family member was aware of the pricing before scheduling. That said, I take responsibility for not reading reviews beforehand and assuming the experience would be positive since the doctor advertises himself as an expert in tinnitus. As a low-income senior, I researched and discovered that I could qualify for free hearing aids or financial assistance through the Miracle-Ear Foundation's Gift of Sound program. However, I was never offered this option. When I first met with the salesman, Mario, I expressed my concerns and asked about financial support. He indicated that assistance was available; however, the payment plan he presented was unsatisfactory. After conducting some research, I found that my insurance covers half the cost of the hearing aids that I was quoted by Miracle-Ear. I found out that the price that I was supposed to pay was double the price that the brand had to offer. When I returned the aids, I wanted to avoid a sales pitch, so I told Mario a small lie, claiming I was going to get cochlear implants instead. Upon returning the devices, I found his attitude condescending, which confirmed that I had made the right decision. I later learned that he earns his income through commissions and that Miracle-Ear only sells one brand: Signia. As a professional singer, I sought a better alternative. The audiologist my insurance referred me to, who used to work for Miracle-Ear, recommended a different brand, Phonak, which is renowned for musicians. Not only is Phonak considered a top brand, but I am also getting it at half the price of the Signia hearing aids, for which I was charged more than the net price.

These devices are essential for me a DEAF individual, and I need them urgently.When I called to confirm my appointment today, I was just told by Ira I wasn't on the schedule, despite having been given this appointment. I have been informed someone will call me back. This is completely unacceptable. I have never been treated so poorly when trying to obtain something so critical to my daily life to my daily life and independence.I intend to file a complaint under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ACA). I paid over 7,000 for the hearing aid . I was devasated. I realized that the reason the hearing aid kept falling out was because the mold was too short. Come to find out later that it was the office manger, Racelle who put the mold in my ear. Estella, who is the only real tec. did the second mold . She had to know that it was their mistake. This time Estella made the mold. She knew that Rechelle was not leagaly suppose to make the mold. I should not have had to pay for their mistake. It ended up costing me 14,000$ for hearing aids. I had to pay 7,000$ for each hearing aid. Another issue I had with Alpha Hearing aid was just a couple of weeks ago one haring ais quit working so I took it back to alpha for repair. While I was waiting for the left hearing aid, I was wearing only one ear and my eqilibrium was making me dizzy. It was over a week, so I called and they had it, finally. I wanted to come in and pick it up but she booked up. I was so agravated, I got a Lift and came in and demandd to get the hearing aid. It was just sitting there so I picked it up and left. I would'nt recomend this place to my worst emeny.
